Author has written 23 stories for Newsies, and Tuck Everlasting. Hello everyone, you can call me Crystal, and welcome to my page! Ever since I was little I've always hated anything that had to do with words when I was younger. But years later when I started reading fanfic, I decided to give it a whirl just to see what would happen. Two years later it's my favorite thing to do, and I never thought I'd be where I am now. I'm a fansie, if it wasn't already obvious. I love all 'em newsies, but, I'll admit Mush is, without a doubt, my favorite. Each of my OCs have a small part of my own personality times a thousand. I take lots of inspiration from quotes, songs, little parts of myself, and forgotten memories that float around my brain. Though there's a few cases where a creative bomb will hit, or an idea will come up in the middle of the night - but those usually stay in my brain -. Both canon and modern AU stories all follow the same timeline, so if you want to stay spoiler free in the more recent works, I suggest you read everything in order. Or if you feel like you can connect the dots then hey, go ahead. You can also find my works on Wattpad if that's more your style. Want to dive deeper into a story? Then head on over to my Pinterest page. Or if you want to see random newsies posts then take a look on my Tumblr (fair warning I mostly just reblog stuff). All are under the username Nycnewsgirl. Announcements 1: The Story of a News Girl is out now! 2: If there's anything you want to see in my latest story please feel free to message me. Keep in mind I have an age range of six to thirteen I'd like to keep Feister in, if could send in an age along with an idea it honestly helps a lot when figuring out how she'll act. There is no deadline for this, and if you have multiple ideas please send them in too. I will be giving credits to whoever's idea I use in each chapter when it is posted. And please remember that I will try my best to do your requests, but if it doesn't work out, don't be mad, and know I did my best to use your idea. About OCs and Storyline Feister has been with the Lower Manhattan Newsies since she was six years old. Though the leader at the time - Wolf -was iffy about letting a girl into the newsie ranks. But after a lot of convincing he let her stay on a trial base to see if she could keep up with the boys (which she did). Just like any other newsie, her nickname shows who she is to the fullest. Feister's fiery, sarcastic, stubborn, and a loud mouth. She holds her ground and isn't afraid to show the boys not to mess with her. Feister hates everything that's girly. She'd much rather go do something with her boys than anything else in the world. But, beneath all that she's a loyal girl who cares deeply about her brothers. She just has a hard time showing her true feelings. Fast forward years later, Feister has a band of brothers by her side, though she usually sticks around her best friend, Mush, the most. This is where the story really begins. The unbreakable friendship Mush and Feister have not only takes a turn for the worst, but is also put to the test as crushes, the past, and new feelings start to arise. Follow Feister as she takes on the challenges life will throw. A Girl Newsie, The Scavenger Hunt, Just...Second Best, The Plan, The Past Comes Back, A Second Family, Valentines Day, Pranks and Pageants, Typical Friday Night, Strike, I'm Fine, Sweeter than Revenge, and The Story of a News Girl. ・ 。゚ : *. .* : ゚. ・ 。゚ : *. .* : ゚. ・ 。゚ : *. .* : ゚. Taking events after I'm Fine, the new girl on the block, Brooklyn, was just minding her own busniess when she ran into Albert (literally). One thing lead to another and Brooklyn soon finds herself thrown into a whirl wind that is the Newsies of Lower Manhattan, where, she soon reunites with her long lost twin. The newsies quickly take her in as one of their own and give her the nickname Freckles because of the little dots on her face. Brooklyn is a sweet, shy, quiet type of girl that has a world of her own in her head, and a dreamy, far off look in her eyes. She loves dancing, but is shy about her secret talent. Being with a the rodwy bunch of boys, and trying to reconect with her twin, Brooklyn finds it challenging since she's on the calmer/shyer side of the scale. But with a little help every now and then from Feister, Brooklyn finds herself slowly opening up to the newsies, and getting more comfortable with them. One step at a time. See how Brooklyn will learn and adpat to her new life srounded by boys. And maybe, just maybe, sparks will start to fly when she's with him... Mystery Girl, A End's Beginning, Homecoming, Night of Frights, Better than a Homerun, and Star Crossed Love. Other works that intertwine with the main storyline are...NYC Winter. A seasonal (mostly modern AU) one shot book filled with wintery fun and all kinds of Christmas chaos. A New Adventure. A Tuck Everlasting x Newsies crossover. Which conitans small mention of Feister's story, and not something you'd typically get for that combo. George the XI. A hilariously whacky one shot co-written by Perice Jean in a PM exchange about how Race and Albert aren't the most responsible boys in the world. |
