A side story to my Durin Line Endures AU. Recovery from battle is never easy. Fili and Kili have endured more than most dwarves twice their age and that is never easy to deal with. Uncle Thorin is more adept at handling it than most people think. Covers some of my BOTFA AU but details should be easy to follow. May be details of battle in later chapters.

Here it is the sequel to A New Life: Durin Family. This will cover the quest of Erebor and The Battle of the Five Armies. Bilbo is about to embark on a new journey with his adoptive family, full of adventures and dangers.

The defeat of Smaug comes with a price that leaves Jeanne temporarily injured at the eve of a deadly battle between five armies. She finds herself separated from Thorin and more vulnerable than ever. She can no longer hide from her cold fate though and senses her death to be close and at the hands of a pale Orc.

My spin on the Bilbo travels back in time story.

Bilbo had raised his daughter to be a proper, respectable Baggins: Polite, friendly, a good cook...But, like her father, she had Took blood running through her veins that left her quietly wishing for some sort of excitement to happen. When Thorin's Company arrives, she gets her wish and becomes the fifteenth member. But she soon learns that not all adventures are fun and games...

While relaxing with his family in Rivendell, King Thranduil and his daughter, Alasse are abducted right under Glorfindel's fingertips! The enemies are using the princess as leverage. Legolas is frantic with worry for his father and sister! Can they be saved before time runs out? On top of that, Thorin Oakenshield has been desperately searching for his two missing nephews for days!

It is winter in Laketown. After the sudden death of his wife, Bard struggles to care for his children alone while trying to make enough money to feed them... that is, until he stumbles across the young, vulnerable Freja Gustafsdottir. Another is recruited by the Grey Wizard who believes that she may hold the key to the company's success in their quest to reclaim the lost kingdom of Erebor. Along with thirteen dwarves, a hobbit, and the occasional wizard, this strange figure will walk amongst them to the forgotten halls of the mighty

When the souls in Mt. Gundabad rise again, ALL inhabitants rise. Where Thorin's company is 14 1 and there's hope for the Elvenking yet.

Rin,the young princess of Greenwood and niece of the elven king,had never thought that her father had been anything more than a normal dwarf her mother had fallen in love with against every rule she ever knew. Arriving in Valinor at the end of Return of the King, Bilbo was supposed to find peace. His aching heart and body were supposed to heal. But the wounds and losses of the past will not stay buried and those lost on the Quest to Erebor haunt his thoughts. So, he makes it his mission to fix it, even if he has to appeal to Eru Himself.

Airelotwen Sandhelm is a woman that does not belong. With an elven mother and a dwarvish father she is an outcast of two races. But when Radagast pushes her into the path of thirteen dwarves, a hobbit and a wizard, she had no choice but to put her past behind her and help her new friends to reclaim what was viciously taken from them Thorin/OC *Re-Written*
