![]() Author has written 4 stories for District 9, Aliens/Predator, and How to Train Your Dragon. IMPORTANT UPDATE [Sunday, September 22nd, 2019: I swore into and left for the Army on April 1st of 2019. I graduated from BCT (Basic Combat Training) after 2.5 months of going through it all and having zero contact with the outside world besides sending and receiving letters. Then finished my AIT (Advanced Individual Training), learning how to be a 13B (Field Artillery Cannoneer) in the Army. The process only took about six weeks. Now I'm an active duty service member, stationed way over in Germany for a good long while; I assume I'll be here for at least half of my obligated active duty term. It's too damn cold here, also found out that field artillery and the Army isn't for me and isn't what I thought it to be. *nervous laugh* Regardless, I will be and have been making time for writing my fanfics and original works. So yeah, that’s where I’ve been and what I've been up to. If I don’t reply for long periods of time, it’s because I’m doing Army stuff. Can’t say too much because ya know, Russia and our enemies are always wanting to know where we are and what we’re doing. Plus my NCO’s and CO’s would kill me. Until then, I'll be working on my fanfictions and original works! :D Updates on my stories: I am no longer going to upload chapters for any of my stories nor upload any new ones. This is because I want to focus on writing one story at a time and when said story is completed, then I will upload that fic in all of its finished glory onto here and move on to the next incomplete story. Now obviously, this is going to take a very long time, and I probably won't post anything for at least three years. Upcoming stories/works-in-progress (WIP's): Here is the order in which my works will be completed and posted onto here, as well as on the other sites I publish them on: -A Journey of Hope [District 9] This is about a security US Marine officer who is given his first commissioned command in South Africa, with a Marine security force under him. Their objective was to work alongside South Africa's militants and other private security forces in order to pacify the aliens known as "prawns" in Johannesburg, and in District 9 because South Africa's Government needed help with their extraterrestrial problem. This Marine officer did that job exceptionally well, but his methods weren't exactly legal in South Africa... But most - if not all - of the non-humans ended up loving him and his squad because of those very methods; he made their lives more bearable and dare I say - enjoyable at times by teaching them many skills that would enable them to be close to completely independent, and providing the leadership that they desperately needed in order to get through their poverty. But most importantly, he and his squad of Marines made them feel safe. In-fact, his positive influence throughout the District further encouraged one of the female non-humans (who he had been developing a strong friendship with for the past years... Wink-wink, nudge-nudge) to take a romantic liking to him, and he had no qualms about that, for he felt the same way for her. There was no shame in their "fruitful" intimate relationship. But not everyone took kindly to some Americans meddling in their affairs, for who are we (America) to get involved in a foreign country's problems? Read on to find out why. -Impossible [AvP] Ah, my favorite one probably. This one is about the son of the late Corporal Dwayne Hicks who followed in his dad's footsteps by becoming a Colonial Marine. The son (we'll just call him Hicks) was assigned to the Marine's 117th Expeditionary Unit, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, Alpha Company. The entire unit was assigned on the USS Houston, the Navy's ship-of-the-line intergalactic warship, whose job was to escort a multi-national colonization effort to the first confirmed Earth-like planet known to man: Goldilocks. This world was best described as a "Super Earth," as it had twice the mass of our own home planet, but also very "antediluvian," meaning it had quite the prehistoric geography and animals - all of which was quite relative to that of Earth's long-gone antediluvian age (the time before Noah's flood). But to top all of that off, you've got to keep in mind that this world is not Earth whatsoever, it is quite different, as would be expected. So Hicks - along with his recon company - had to do their part in assisting the establishment of the colony's community and providing a permanent military presence on and above the planet. There were well over 9,000 colonists who all had roles to play in establishing the most important colonization effort in history, and it was the military's job to protect them, and assist them in any way they could. However, there were alarmingly several large xenomorph hives present on Goldilocks. Despite twenty years of satellite and rover coverage of the planet before any human stepped foot on the surface, these probes never once picked up a single hint of any extremely hostile creatures or people. It took well over three hundred people who went missing from the colony - civilian and militant - to make the military conclude without a doubt, that the infamous (and well known) xenomorphs were behind all of the disappearances. Hicks and his recon company were able to subdue and bring back one of the xenomorphs responsible for snatching so many people, which would serve a great purpose in eliminating the alien threat on the planet. But of course, this was the beginning of Hicks' and that particular xenomorph's relationship. Because after a few months of Hicks doing his darnest to have the alien understand that he was not a threat - nor a meal or a prime candidate for a host - he would be at the complete mercy of her and her hive. By then, he hoped his naturally kindhearted and selfless nature would pay off, by her coming to respect him and not harm him in any way. And as time went by, he would willingly give up his humanity, in favor of becoming perfect - for her. -Helping a Monster [ID4] -Raven-1 [XCOM] -High King's Arrow [Elder Scrolls Online] -For the Nine! For the Empire! For Argonia! [The Elder Scrolls series] -Tip of the Spear: Sol 2 [Original sci-fi work] -Tip of the Spear: Operation Purge [Original sci-fi work] -Tip of the Spear: Firewing Company [Original sci-fi work] -Tip of the Spear: Finishing the Fight [Original sci-fi work] -This, I'll defend: Part 1 [Mass Effect] -This, I'll defend: Part 2 [Mass Effect] -This, I'll defend: Part 3 [Mass Effect] -You are not alone [Original sci-fi work] -What it means to serve [Alien franchise] -Eiddwen [Original sci-fi work] -The right thing to do [Alien franchise] This story is about a detective that is hired by the Weyland-Yutani Corporation and is given a full complement of Colonial Marines to track down and return a "runaway specimen," in perfect condition. -And many more that have yet to be ironed out and named! What you need to know about this individual: 1) I believe that I have won the greatest lottery of all time. I am alive. I walk the Earth. I live in America. Above all things, I am grateful. 2) I believe that I am entitled to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Nothing more. I also understand that "happiness" and the "pursuit of happiness" are not the same thing. 3) I believe there is no such things as a "bad job." I believe that all jobs are opportunities, and it's up to me to make the best of them. 4) I do not "follow my passion." I bring it with me. I believe that any job can be done with passion and enthusiasm. 5) I deplore debt, and do all I can to avoid it. I would rather live in a tent and eat beans than borrow money to pay for a lifestyle that I can't afford. 6) I believe that my safety is my responsibility. I understand that being in "compliance" does not necessarily mean I'm out of danger. 7) I believe the best way to distinguish myself at work is to show up early, stay late, and cheerfully volunteer for every crappy task there is. 8) I believe the most annoying sounds in the world are whining and complaining. I will never make them. If I am unhappy in my work, I will either find a new job, or find a way to be happy. 9) I believe that my education is my responsibility, and absolutely critical to my success. I am resolved to learn as much as I can from whatever source is available to me. I will never stop learning, and understand that library cards are free. 10) I believe that I am a product of my choices - not my circumstances. I will never blame anyone for my shortcomings or the challenges I face. And I will never accept the credit for something I didn't do. 11) I understand the world is not fair, and I'm OK with that. I do not resent the success of others. 12) I believe that all people are created equal. I also believe that all people make choices. Some choose to be lazy. Some choose to sleep in. I choose to work my butt off.
