I won't lie and say I'm the greatest writer on the face of the planet, I do it because if I don't, the ideas would run around in my head like little pixies and never let me sleep ever again; and I like my sleep! Also, I want to know how these scraps of ideas I start out with will turn out. I rarely have a plan, most of the time, I sit down and then boom! there's a story! I'm just as clueless as you all are when I start. I don't like knowing what's going to happen because as soon as I think I know where we're going, they drag me off somewhere else and I end up angry and confused that the characters won't listen to me.

I play with these characters and scenarios purely for my own enjoyment. If others happen to like what I put out there, then thats brilliant, if not, well no one forces you to read it. That's the joy of media.

If you came to be a hater, to criticise my terminology or choice of metaphor or general fic construction. Well, I honestly have questions. Why would you do that? If you don't like what people put out there, do better, be better, show us all how to do it. At the end of the day, you're not any better than anyone else. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. People who write fic are just trying to express themselves in their own way. Sure, there's some fic out there that isn't fantastic but its subjective. You might not like it, but others do and that's entirely up to them. It's not hurting anyone. You're not being attacked on a dimly lit street because someone can't write particularly well. Give everyone a fair crack.

Wow, ok, enough of that... back to me!

I like reviews. I welcome constructive criticism. I also welcome shameless praise and mild threats.

Lastly, I own nothing except socks. I have lots of those. I also have a mad cat... if you sue me, that's all you'd get and believe me, you don't want him. Half the time, I don't want him.

So yeah, this is me. Please feel free to send me messages and reviews, I enjoy chatting with friendly, like-minded people. I try and be friendly unless you're an ass. Then, not so much.

EDIT DEC 2015: Hi folks, life and all its nonsense has been kicking me in the personals hence the lack of updates for anything. Please know that Hunter Island 2 had NOT been forgotten, just slow. Plus, I kinda stopped watching the show so I've not got a huge amount of enthusiasm to write it. But it WILL be finished at some point.

To new people who came for the McElliot goodness, thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my new venture into this fandom. I really find it hard to write in, hence the teeny, tiny oneshot, but I have 2 other stories that are in progress and going to be a LOT longer and hopefully better.

EDIT: I will always put a warning for things that might trigger some people, ie rape, domestic abuse etc but I will NEVER put a character death warning, and here's why. I despise spoilers with a fiery passion, whether it's in fic or tv shows, I just don't like to ruin the surprise. Sometimes I might kill people in my stories, and as in life, you don't always get a heads up with a violent death and so you won't in my stories. HOWEVER, reviews are a good source of information and/or spoilers so it always pays to have a little look. If there's something that people weren't happy with in the story, it usually appears in the reviews so have a little look there first. I'm sorry if you think that is unfair or mean but that's just the way I do it. Plenty of other people put warnings for every event so you may prefer to read their work instead. That's cool too.
