As she grew older, the wish list became more of a letter to someone she could confide in once a year, but she fell out of the habit somewhere along the way. Now, as a new mum, celebrating her daughter's first Christmas, Rose takes up writing her Christmas letter to Father Christmas once again.

[A rewrite of season 3] Heartbroken by the loss of Wolfe, Rose and the Doctor find a new companion and struggle to understand their own quickly changing relationship. As more varying struggles, difficult choices, surprises, and arguments come their way, they fight to stay safe and together, and find a way back to their daughter.

John Tyler is a teacher at Farringham, but he's been dreaming of another life-the life of an adventure known as the Doctor. When Marion Smith appears in Farringham, he's immediately drawn to her. And why not? Marion Smith is the mirror image of Rose Tyler-the Doctor's wife. Reunion set during Human Nature/Family of Blood, with Christmas overtones. Will be six chapters long.

The sequel to What If? that follows the Doctor and Rose through married life of season 4. It follows my in between and back story formats, and like the series, there are a couple of developing plot lines running through the story.

What if Doomsday ended differently and Rose managed to stay with the Doctor. How would their lives have gone?
