![]() Author has written 47 stories for Harry Potter, Hobbit, and Lord of the Rings. Hi there! Wow, this site tells me I've been here for almost exactly ten years. o_O How time flies! Anyway, time to update this profile once again (I only seem to do that every 4-5 years, whoops), especially since I'm posting things here again (mostly adding stories from my AO3 account, but also posting new ones as I finish them). I'm 27 years old, a biologist (done studying but no job yet) and slowly turning into a crazy cat lady (five cats at the moment). I’m a multishipper (even though my interest in het keeps declining) who mostly switches back and forth between humor (with a side of crack), fluff, angst and “all things awful” (which basically means characters dying in a variety of possibilities). Make of that what you will... My current fandom is The Hobbit, though you'll also see some older Harry Potter fanfic. I might occasionally go back to that fandom, not only just finish up some of the ancient WIPs. I might also dabble in Game of Thrones, Merlin, The Silmarillion and some other fandoms from time to time. I'm a fairly slow writer and tend to have more ideas than motivation to actually put those ideas on paper, unfortunately, though I have been in a bit of a writing phase lately. In order to not frustrate people more than necessary, I usually only post stories here when I have pretty much finished writing the entire thing. I’m sorry if I don’t reply to your reviews right away, I sometimes have social anxiety issues and if too much time has passed, I’ll generally feel too awkward replying. This doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate reviews, quite the contrary, in fact! :) I'm octopus_fool on AO3 and if you want to see the useless things I reblog, my tumblr is ridiculoussquid. (If anybody from way back who knows who am in real life is looking at this... umm... hi! *awkward wave*) Well, there isn't really much else to say, after all, you're supposed to be more interested in my stories than in me! ;-) Additional links: Alternate ending for The Path Through Mirkwood Tengwar version of "The Beginner's Guide to the Animals of Mirkwood" (from The Path Through Mirkwood) |
