(this implies to both deserts and relationships). I favor cartoons over anime. While I appreciate anime, I feel like its just not for me :\. Though I did watch some Pokemon, Bakugan, and Yu-Gi-Oh as a kid. I worship the ground Anna Kendrick walks on. Get frustrated at how much oblivious Percy is to romance, and the shipping. *RotG- Jack Frost is, ironically, hot as heck. The movie and story is absolutely beautiful and the message is wonderful. *HTTYD- First off, DRAGONS!. Secondly, the movie is an absolute gem. There's romance but its not the movie's focus. The movie centers around Hiccup finding out that the monsters they fought their whole lives were as harmless as a cat. Watch as he struggles with Family, and finding his purpose. *Frozen- You need to be living under a rock to not know about Frozen. You can either, hate it or love it. I'm one of the lucky few who's in the middle. *Divergent- Read the book. Though the movie version is good, the second film did not capture the spirit. It's about Tris, trying to find out where she belongs, and fighting against the government. The book is awesome as heck, with the message of: It's okay to be different. It gives you a whole new light on the world... to me at least. *Homestuck- If you wish to retain your remaining sanity, please dO NOT READ HOMESTUCK! It's a webcomic whose plot is the most confusing thing I've ever seen. (I'm currently still on Act 2) *Kim Possible- It's one of the best freaking tv shows of my childhood. The protagonist is a girl who's kick ass as heck but at the same time she's a normal girly girl. Her sidekick is her best friend (and soon boyfriend) and is usually the one doing the running around screaming. The villain is useless without his side kick Shego. She, like Kim, is a girl who is awesome and sassy. It is awesome. Trust me. *Austin and Ally- The shipping is real here and the music is awesome. The story (though it differs per episode) is really good and funny. *Once Upon a Time- It puts a twist on your normal fairytale. The characters from different fairytales are brought to our world, a world with no magic and no happy ending (wow thanks man.) Every story is interlaced with each other e.g Belle and Rumplestitskin (with the latter being the "beast"). Its main message is that everyone has the potential for good and evil. Even the heroes can be villains, and the villains can be heroes. Also Captain Hook, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, and Robin Hood are as hot as the sun. *Pitch Perfect- Combines my two favorite things: A cappella and Mashups. That and a dash of comedy. If you love these things then you'll love Pitch Perfect *The Selection- iT DESTROYS YOUR FEELZ. YOU WILL THROW IT, SCREAM AT IT, AND HUG IT. *Avatar the Last Airbender/Legend of Korra- You must have had a sad childhood if you don't know either of these shows. These shows are complete gems! You can almost see no hate for The Last Airbender. It is seriously the BEST cartoon during its time. And it still is one of the best. You can freaking control the elements man! What else can you ask?! *Gravity Falls- If you like conspiracies then you would love this show. In every episode, there are hidden codes and stuff. When you reverse the audio at certain parts you will literally get a backwards message. Everything you see in the episodes will get you paranoid because the story is so well done! Say, you see a mysterious guy in the background of some eps, bOOM! He has an important role in one of the eps. The antagonist is a 6 year old kid with poofy white hair and a evil yellow dorito chip. It constantly references past episodes and makes sure the timeline is correct. The jokes are hilarious, and is seriously pushing the censoring boundaries at Disney. (A character literally said "SON OF A-") If the show makes you paranoid with conspiracy theories then it is doing its job. *Steven Universe- its a nice show that gives you warm feelings. It's a show that you can not watch for a few weeks and can still watch it in one whole sitting. Like Adventure time, except the background images are absolutely stunning. Not that the AT backgrounds are bad, but //whispers it's kinda better. (NEWS FLASH PAST ME: SU DOESNT GIVE YOU WARM FEELINGS AT ALL. ONLY PAIN, SUFFERING, AND HIATUS. But still highly recommend! My love for the show only grew) *Over the Garden Wall- It's a 10 minute series with 10 episodes. The character design is REALLY GOOD, and it's so dark and the story is really interesting. Like, wow. I originally thought it was lame, but boy was I wrong. *Galavant- If you like medieval times, singing, and comedy, then you will LOVE Galavant. It's a musical comedy that's aware that it's a musical comedy. They make fun of the Fairytale stereotypes and cliches, they make fun of the musical things for example: Someone gets great news, a side character then says "Oh great, another musical number :(". OR: The Jester starts singing the recap and everyone tells him to shut up. The songs are also great and true as heck. I mean, just listen to the song "If I could share my Life with you." *Mianite- It's a minecraft series that's usually an hour or 2 long. It is streamed live everyday unless something comes up. It's a little server with storylines included. Everything is scripted but the thing is, the main heroes (the streamers) have 0 idea on what's going on. Say, they're cooking some pigs when suddenly the gods do an epic battle in the sky and they're left baffled. Also, plot twists and puns. Also salt. Never forget the salt. Every Musical out there- First off, their songs tell the story so you can totes use it in your everyday life. You dated a guy/girl named Jamie and she broke your heart? "I'm Still Hurting" is the song for you! You feel invisible? "Mr. Cellophane" is something you should sing. Second, the stories are usually dark as heck. It usually ends in a bittersweet way and the way the perform on the stage is literally magic. Musicals usually tackles real life problems. A great example is "Rent", a story about people struggling in the poor side of NY who are also dealing with problems like drugs, death, and love. The Last Five Years is literally the biggest roller coaster of feelz that you will ever experience. They f*cking started the story with a song called "I'm Still Hurting". It broke me so much that my mind fights with itself. It usually looks like this: Me: I'm buuuured! I think I'm gonna watch TLFY again! I'm not sure if I either made you want to watch it or scare you into never watching musicals again. :\ Nonetheless, Musicals are the best things in the world. So go give it a try :) So there's me trying to persuade you to join my fandoms! I probably did a REALLY horrible job at it but meh. Seriously though, every single one of these fandoms are amazing and you should check it out. :3 |
