I've always loved writing, but I only used to write for myself because I never felt that what I wrote was good enough for other people to read.

When my mum died of cancer 22 years ago I suddenly found myself in a relationship that quickly turned violent. The violence lasted for 6 years until I had the courage to get out. I left him and regained my strength. I was strong for my children who were only 4 and 2 years old at the time. I haven't looked back since.

Writing helped me to build up my confidence again. I think you can see by the stories that I write that I am a huge GSR shipper. Grissom and Sara share such a deep love for one another, and it shows that age doesn't matter.

Of course Doctor and Rose will ALWAYS hold a special place for me. I cried my heart out when I watched Doomsday, and it's only now, 7 years on that I can watch it without crying.

Lastly Michael and Fiona...sigh...where do I start? These two are like star crossed lovers who are destined to be together. Their relationship is a mixture of love and hate, much like many real life relationships which makes it all the more endearing.

Other fandoms I've written for are Beauty and the Beast. This will always be special to me. The last time my mum and me were together when she was alive, we sat and watched 'God Bless the Child' BB will always have a special place in my heart.

Stargate SG1- Sam and Jack. I was a huge SJR shipper for many years. I went to all the conventions, rubbed shoulders with most of the cast, including Amanda Tapping, who is absolutely stunning, Michael Shanks, who is a very gracious man, and my personal favourite, the lovely, late Don S Davis. That man was an absolute sweetheart and such a lovely person. Jay Acovone who I met during a Beauty and the Beast fan meet up is one of my all time favourite people too. I first met him when I was pregnant with my daughter, heavily pregnant and 2 days overdue! He made the mistake of asking me when I was due and I said '2 days ago.' The poor man's face grew very pale. I met up with him again a few years ago at another stargate convention and he remembered me right away... and even to this day he blames me for his gray hair! He's a lovely man.

X Files Mulder and Scully. X Files was my anchor through the early years of domestic violence. Somehow it gave me a focus and it will always be special to me for that reason.

My BB stories are only found in fanfic books that were printed at the time. I don't have anything online that I'm aware of. My Sam and Jack stories are all archived at heliopolis somewhere. I really need to track everything down into one place at some point.
