I fell into the rabbit hole of fan fiction when I went looking for a "fix-it" ending for Mass Effect. Wow, I was delighted to find several years worth of amazing stories!

I primarily read Mass Effect, but I occasionally take a peek at the Dragon Age and Fallout stories too. I stick with stories that feature FemShep paired up with Liara... that's the way I played the game and over the years, it's become my head canon view of the game. I'm not even terribly found of the term "FemShep". To me she is simply Commander Shepard.

Well, I guess I should update this since I've actually gone and written something! In one of the earliest stories I read on this site, the author's end notes mentioned the disappointment with BioWare's ME3 ending that had motivated them to write something for the community of fans (i.e. the fandom). That stuck with me and I promised that someday I'd publish something to give back to the community. While none of my Mass Effect stuff is publishable, a Fallout story crept into mind and by the time I scribbled it out, it had a beginning, middle and end, and with some help from my beta reader, it was coherent and dare I say readable!

The writing process was hard, but fun and yes, rewarding as well. It made me appreciate the people here, the authors who take the time and effort to write and post the amazing stories that I've had the chance to read over the years. THANK YOU! The passion and imagination for their characters is contagious and they hit the publish button to share them with us! How awesome is that?
