Hey there, everybody! I am the mighty Iwin Ulose, or Iwin for short.

9-21-2011: I want to continue my two latest One Piece stories, especially A Year To Remember, but goddammit, I had most of Chapter 5 written and I can't find it ANYWHERE! Sigh... I guess I need to rewrite it, even though I barely remember any of it.

3-23-2012: Okay, so, a few months ago, I restarted Chapter 5... and I moved to Chicago and somehow lost it AGAIN!!! Seriously, my profession is in computers, I'm a help desk guy. How the hell am I losing Word docs? Whatever, I'm using Google Docs from now on. Sigh. I have yet to restart it again. Meanwhile, I have other ideas that swirl around my head. Two that I've started typing are a humor fic of MapleStory and a CobyxVivi fic for One Piece (an idea I got from the profile of a fellow author, nekked. Check out her stuff, One Piece fans).

About me:

I am a 24-year-old male who recently moved to the Chicagoland suburbs; having lived in New Jersey ever since I was in kindergarten, this has been a nice change. I am an EXCITING individual who leads an ADVENTUROUS life. ... On the Internet. ;D

I enjoy the romance (M/F or F/F, strictly no M/M), humor, and adventure genres of fan fiction. A good drama, tragedy, or hurt/comfort is nice once in a while, too.

I like manga. I am currently OBSESSED with One Piece. Luffy is my freakin' hero! I have also read MANY other manga, too many to count. My favorites include Gantz, High School of the Dead, Toriko, Mahou Sensei Negima, Hajime no Ippo, Full Metal Alchemist, Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler), Hunter x Hunter, Gamaran, Claymore, Eyeshield 21, Naruto, Hayate the Combat Butler, AIKI, the Rosario + Vampire series, Ai Kora, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Kimi no Iru Machi, Soul Eater, Fairy Tail, Ao no Exorcist (Blue Exorcist), and the list keeps growing as I find more free time. As for anime... Anime kind of annoys me now, as they usually disappoint me after reading the manga, but I'll always love Full Metal Alchemist, Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, Yu Yu Hakusho, and, of course, Dragonball/DBZ.

More than anything else, I'm a big gamer. My favorite games include the MegaMan X, MegaManZero, and original MegaMan series, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, the Pokemon series, Legend of Dragoon, the Final Fantasy series, DBZ Budokai/Tenkaichi series, Chrono Trigger/Cross, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Golden Sun series, the classic Genesis Sonic series, the Super Smash Bros series, and, sadly, MapleStory. Zombie games of all types bring me great joy, more notably the Dead Rising series and the Left 4 Dead series. I'm not too big into FPS games, especially realistic or war ones, but I do like zombie ones and a few that try to be different, especially Borderlands. I'm also a big retro gamer; you gotta know your roots! I harbor a great love for sidescrollers in particular, both retro and modern. I also like this extremely funny mostly-text-based MMO called The Kingdom of Loathing. I don't play it anymore, but I still highly recommend giving it a try, especially if you're the "intellectual" type and love good laughs in a game that can also be taken seriously. It is free, browser-based so you don't have to download anything, and it is a lot of fun once you get used to it! Go to to check it out.
