Seorang pemilik multi-class campur aduk gado-gado, yang menggemari desain dan mitologi. Sekarang lagi menggarap proyek pribadi yang entah kapan bisa direalisasikan.

Aku bukan penggemar fanatik manga, so aku masih bisa menikmati manhwa ataupun komik Amerika. Tapi, karena manga lebih mudah didapat (dan ceritanya nggak monoton *ehemsuperheroehem*), aku lebih condong ke arah manga. Yang kunikmati dari manga adalah STORY-nya, soal art nomer 2.

Random drabble about favorite character

Ryougi Shiki, the Murderous Princess (titled by b-suke) from Kara no Kyoukai.

A yamato nadeshiko with tendency to kill, charming eyes (?), and sometime catlike behavior (or rabbit?).

Kara no Kyoukai (or abbreviated as Rakkyo by the fandom), was one of the first work of Kinoko Nasu, founder of Type-Moon. The main character is Shiki, who had 2 personalities: Shiki or 'yin' personality that always comes outside as a calm girl, and SHIKI or 'yang' personality that dwells deep within her heart as a boy. Because her peculiar ability, she avoided people, considered as quiet and scary girl by others. But there was a boy that didnt care about it, Mikiya Kokuto, a normal bespectacled boy. He is the only person that dared to socialize with Shiki, and even getting her to talk normally. After awhile, a strange feeling appeared within Shiki and she became to feel insecure. SHIKI perceived it as an impulse to kill Mikiya to protect Shiki. So he went to kill Mikiya, but in the end, he can’t. Didn’t want this impulse coming again, Shiki crashed herself on a car... and became coma for 2 years.

Or, dead. Precisely, SHIKI's personality was dead because protecting Shiki.

Shiki magically awakened, and because her contact with "death", acquired Chokushi no Magan (Mystic Eyes of Death Perception). With those eyes, she could see "line of death". By touching or cutting the "lines of death" that she saw, Shiki can "kill" the owner of the lines. So, anything in this world; human, ghost, will, time, even god... if he lives, she can kill them with those eyes!

The story of Rakkyo revolves around Shiki who used her eyes to solve spiritual cases that her work office, Garan no Dou, investigated. She fought many things... ghost projection, another mystic eyes user, a monk that wanted to seize her body, a mage that control words, and an obsessed serial killer.

She did it all while suppressed her impulse to kill Mikiya, whose faithfully accompany her since her coma back then.

Rakkyo was animated by ufotable within 7 movie series (and another one this year). The film can be said as... INCREDIBLE. The animation, the plot, the battle scenes, the voice actors... everything is absolutely terrific. Combine that with awesome music from Yuki Kajiura, and epic ending theme from Kalafina. Yeah, I believe, Rakkyo is the best of Nasu's works!

While watched it, I fallen in love with Shiki's character. She's so cool, calm, as though she didn’t have emotion... but sometimes she's mischievous and surprisingly feminine and cute. NGGGGGHHHHH!!!

By the way, what I hate the most is a pairing of main character and main character... but the canon pairing of Shiki and Mikiya is an exception! They're so... suitable. Shiki that show her affection with her own ways and Mikiya that is very loyal, although often found himself in deadly situation because Shiki. They're absolutely perfect for each other!

Especially, there are no excessively fluffy scenes in the film!

Shiki Ryougi. Overpowered and extraordinarily cute. Love her!
