Hi! So, I've been on a real-life induced hiatus for a while but I'm trying to get back in the swing of writing again! I started a new job a few months ago and though it keeps me really busy I'm forcing myself to take an actual lunch break and go for a walk but also stop and sit someplace quiet to write - not actually EVERY day, but at least a couple days a week and I'm doing about half and half fanfic and original! So I've done some on My Dad (not posted yet) and a chapter and a half on "Lab 7" the first chapter of which I actually wrote about two years ago so... yeah. More soon on both - and maybe some other Atlantis, Supernatural and SG1 stuff I started or wrote and never posted before RL blew up a couple of years ago.

NOTE! Alia and Sever Us are the SAME PERSON :D Sorry to shout, but I just want to be clear. I'm not posting someone else's story - I am Alia and "Enemy Mine" has always been under that name where it was on FA for ages. I registered here as Sever Us - but both are me :)

Um... For unknown reasons, my story "My Dad" was removed by at one point. The only explanation was in an email stating it had been deleted because "it violated a guideline" - I don't know which one, because I re-read the guidelines - and they didn't explain in the email they sent me... anyway, I'm working on it still... hey if Dumbledore can give second chances, so can I :) But, won't get a third chance if they delete it again.

It's a fun story about a father and son - Severus and Harry (by adoption - not a Severitus challenge), and their relationship. Severus is a loving and involved parent - joking at times, understanding at others, and even stern when the situation calls for it. Harry loves his Dad and is never happier than when his father tells him he's proud of him (which he does!), and never angrier than when people are badmouthing his Dad - they don't know him like Harry does and he is not afraid to tell them so.

This is not a 'make Harry a Slytherin' sort of story.

The premise is that much of what happened in the books must happen no matter the circumstances - so Harry makes most of the same mistakes and has most of the same triumphs. The differences are in how these things come to happen - and the consequences sometimes when they do in a life where Harry has a concerned and loving parent at hand...
Rating is PG13 just to be safe for the occasional mild swear word.

Oh, I'm a thirty-something female Librarian... not sure what that says about me. I write fanfic because I love to write and I love these books - it's a great combination :D.

I write other fandoms: "Sentinel", SG1, Atlantis, Supernatural and "Mag7 Kids" - but those so far are only on member lists. Maybe someday I'll start posting them too. My first fanfics were back in the late 70's/early 80's and I wrote "Lord of the Rings" and "Star Wars", but sadly the adventures of Aragorn's perky, wise and helpful sister were thrown away during one of my dozens of moves - long before the age of home computing ;)
