I've been writing fanfiction in my head since my early teens. I never thought that other people did it too - I was pretty lonely. I love reading but write badly. I still do it, like singing in the shower.

English is not my native language. It might be the one I speak best after my own, but I speak two more fluently and can read novels in maybe 4 or 5 more - as a result, I tend to be very confused and make mistakes. Be grateful that you can't hear me speaking English.

I am a bit shy about asking for reviews, but I actually appreciate them very much. Even the very bad ones. Every piece of advice helps.

I started watching House very recently, after someone gave me the box of season 1 as a birthday present (I don't own a tv). It took me a while to figure out why I was hooked. In fact I can explain the reason through an AU fanfic.

Many many years ago, in a little research Institute far far away, there were a young House, a young Wilson, and a young Cuddy. They had precisely the personalities you know, but were otherwise not quite identical to the originals. House looked very similar, except more beautiful and with more impressive eyes. Same brains, same sharp tongue. Wilson's hair looked hairdried but wasn't, and he had no idea how to dress elegantly. Cuddy had smaller breasts, larger nose, and was generally uglier than Lisa Edelstein. They were all very successful researchers, and Cuddy wrote with House a paper which made both of them famous. Wilson loved Cuddy. He also loved every female he knew, and many he didn't know. Luckily he was too shy to do anything but look wistfully at them. Cuddy found Wilson cute, and had no difficulty seducing him. Then she met House, and developed a huge crush on him, equally divided between his brain and his body. She informed both House and Wilson of the crush, without damaging the friendship with the former nor the relationship with the latter. House was gay: he found Wilson pleasant company (a rare event for him), but knew better than falling in love with a straight man. He was used to unwanted female attention and usually found it annoying, but Cuddy's declaration was entertaining and not obnoxious. Cuddy and Wilson married, and House was sitting in front of them at the reception. They moved to a less-than-great Institute to have jobs together. Cuddy is the Dean and they have three children together. House moved to a much better Institute. The three of them, especially Cuddy and House, maintain a close connection. Cuddy has spent years listening to House whining about not finding a husband. House has had a 3-day vacation with Cuddy when she was sick and tired after weaning the third child, where he shared a hotel bedroom with her and didn't mind everyone thinking them a straight couple. Cuddy's overflowing agenda has the date of House's birthday and, since a very few years, that of his and his partner's anniversary.

One night Cuddy had a dream - a dream in which Wilson and House had passionate sex together. She's been hoping for the dream to come back for almost twenty years, with no luck so far. She writes Hilson fanfic under an assumed name.
