General Stuff

I've been writing for over ten years, but only recently have I started taking writing more seriously. I love Fanfiction, and in light of that I have begun to completely redo my Fanfiction history. Every story I've written is either being deleted, or rewritten. I thought it would be a fun and proactive way to get the ol' juices flowing again while simultaneously making a better name for myself. On the particularly horrid one's I'll keep the original versions in a second chapter. I find it funny that I put some of that on this site and called it good!

I'm currently getting Fanfiction to add Space Dandy to their list of anime/manga. It's a new anime, just came out not to long ago, and I hope to be the first to post a story into it! For those who are curious, the anime itself is pretty lighthearted and a bit weird. It's like Tiger and Bunny had a baby with...well something a bit outlandish! Kinda cute with nice moments and tons of giggles.

I like more serious anime--Space Dandy being the exception--and any story with forced humor isn't very good in my eyes. I like situational humor. The kind that I can either relate too, or genuinely see happening. Fighting a giant chicken for four episodes is not all that funny. Talking to you Family Guy! Nah the show's great, but sometimes it can be a bit much.

As for music I like heavy base and I've recently gotten into Dubstep. Still kinda hate it, but it's growing. Lyrics are what matter the most for me, and the sound of the singer. If I like their sound most of the time I don't care what everything else sounds like.

Games are a big thing for me. I like RPG's (Roleplaying games for those who don't speak the lingo), and adventure games. Sometimes the weird or outlandish can strike my fancy as well. I like the violence, but it has to have a plot or it just gets a bit boring.

Republishing Stats

As I said I'm redoing all of the horrible writings that have been on Fanfiction since I signed up back in 2009-2010. Many are old and, frankly, very very bad. This is the progress I've made since winter of 2014.

Trying to get back into writing is hard, but I'm enjoying rewriting all of my old things. It's certainly a challenge to work on fandoms that I haven't touched in over four years, and I'd like to encourage everyone to do the same! Take old writings and redo them. You'd be surprised how much you've improved as a writer.
