![]() Author has written 6 stories for Chronicles of Narnia, Megamind, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Star Wars. Hello people. I'm Eregnar, an amateur writer who's head holds more stories than my hands can write down and difficulty keeping deadlines (My lack of long stories isn't due to lack of inspiration so much as fear of "orphan fics" or poor flow). I have hopes to get some longer works down at some point, but for now enjoy my drabbles :) My interests tend to fall in the science fiction/fantasy/superhero areas. Some favorites include "The Lord of the Rings" "The Chronicles of Narnia," "Batman" and "Star Wars: The Clone Wars." I have a preference for adventure fics and fics that focus on family/friendship/hurt/ comfort. Stories that are primarily romance are usually not my cup of tea, especially if they contain canon characters with counter-canon love interests. I will read stories that include romance, but I have no plans on including any in my own fics (unless necessitated by canon) for the time being. Oh yes, and Lt. Basil is my sis. She is more prolific than I, and has some similar interests, but many of her fics run more in an anime direction (also not my thing), as well as several fandoms I like all right, but not enough to feel inspired to write a fic for. If you're interested in checking out her work, she's in my "favorite authors" tab. My "Star Wars: The Old Republic" fics feature my 8 main player characters. Their story follows canon fairly closely, with a few tweaks for individuality and personal taste (for example, Revan was a woman and the Exile a man in my continuity, because I preferred those genders when I played the KOTOR games). The important characters are as follows: Jedi Knight Psawl Ba'lam: Pureblood. Born a slave, he was rescued at a young age during a Republic raid on a slaving ship. His mother perished shortly after, and he was sent to be raised by the Jedi order. He faced a lot of prejudice and suspicion growing up, which gave him a heart for those who were ostracized by society and a willingness to hear out imperials, believing that anybody can change. He struggles with a temper and arrogance, which is partly bravado, and partly the result of his innate strength in the Force. He keeps his face hidden behind a mask to avoid attracting attention or frightening the republic citizens he aids, and is very self-conscious about his looks, though will act vain if asked about them to obscure his insecurity. He leads the Republic faction along with Satele Shan against the Revanites, and joins forces with Darth Marr and the Sith warrior Otienoh Lorcan when Zakuul attacks. During the battle the three of them are taken captive and led before Valkorian. After Marr is killed, the other two join forces with Valkorian's son Arcann to kill the former Sith Emperor. Arcann betrays them and locks them in Carbonite for five years, but not before Valkorian's spirit possesses the Jedi. When they are awakened by Lana Beniko, Psawl becomes the Outlander, and leads the galaxy in the fight against Arcann and Zakuul's tyranny. Eventually, he takes the Eternal Throne in an effort to use its power to heal the galaxy. Married to Kira Carson. Sith Warrior Otienoh Lorcan: Human. Born to a wealthy family on Dromand Kaas, Otienoh grew up wanting for nothing. His parents were always busy with Sith business, so he was practically raised by his nanny: a rodian slave. Her influence imparted him with an unusually gentle heart for a child of a Sith Lord, as well as a sympathy for slaves and "inferior" species. His Force powers manifested at a young age, when he accidentally unleashed Force lightning on a slave boy he was arguing with. This left him haunted, wary of his power and of lightning in particular, which he vowed never to use again. For the rest of his childhood he tried to care for the boy's sister, Moira, to make up for his mistake, but she wanted nothing to do with him, and was eventually sold. When he entered the academy on Korriban, he quickly learned how to at least appear ruthless for his own protection, and was accepted as Darth Baras' apprentice. After his master betrayed him he rose to the rank of "Emperor's Wrath," and killed Baras in a duel, cementing his place among the Sith. After the fall of Vitiate, the Emperor's hand sent him on a mission to bring the Emperor's murderer and his former Wrath to justice; a mission that was interrupted by the Revanite's rise to power. He would up working with his targets instead to defeat Revan and later Vitiate himself. When Zakuul attacked, he joined up with Darth Marr and Psawl Ba'lam to stand against him, but ended up frozen in carbonite along with Psawl. On awakening, he was briefly offended that the Emperor chose to inhabit Psawl over him, but was glad not to have the guy in his head. As the battle with Zakuul raged, Otienoh became Psawl's unofficial bodyguard and second-in-command, and started referring to himself occasionally as "The Outlander's Wrath." Married to Vette. Trooper Siwala Ward: Zabrak. The leader of Havok Squad, performed many missions under General Garza. She also led the evacuation efforts on Makeb when the planet became unstable due to Hutt mining operations. Promoted to colonel sometime after helping in the fight against the Revanites on Yavin. When Zakuul attacked, she was a vocal opponent of the Republic's appeasement policy. As a consequence, she was transferred from Havok squad and sent on a hazardous mission in wild space, and was reported MIA and presumed dead. She was later tracked down by Theron Shan and recruited into the Alliance against Zakuul, where she became a leading figure in the Alliance military. Married to Aric Jorgan. |
