I know this is sad, but everyone I became friends with on the AATC archive is basically gone. I've grown out of the Chipmunks and Chipettes, though they'll always have a special place in my heart. I may still eventually post some stuff I worked on but never really finished. I'm pretty much done with the fandom, but I'll still proudly flaunt the title of "previous BIGGEST CHIPMUNK/CHIPETTE FAN EVARR LOSERS." XD I'm still on FF on a different account. So if one day you happen to see some similarities in another author, hit her up and see if it's me! :D (Trust me, you'll probably know right away) So this is goodbye. To the people in the fandom I grew up with: thank you for being supportive and putting up with the crazyness and immaturity and horribly bad writing that I brought upon you guys. Thank you for the laughs and cries and fall-out-of-my-chair-flailing-OMIGODYOUUPDATED moments. To the new fandom: keep the Munks and Ettes going strong and remember: Originality is Key.

Fanfiction Pet Peeves

1.) When someone steals or takes the idea/plot/etc. from authors who worked hard to create it. Seriously, you've got a mind of your own. Do yourself some good and use it.

2.) When people advertise their own stories in one of your reviews. Don't... please- just-just... don't.

3.) Archive awards. You know. When people create little "award shows" for their archives. I really think that it A.) Really has no good reason to be done. B.) Breaks a lot of FFNet rules. And C.) Can really hurt authors' feelings and make them feel bad about their writing.

4.) When people post stories about an update on their stories. I'm sorry, but that's what profile's are for.

5.) When people have chapters (that aren't drabbles) that are extremely short. Like, you can't even scroll the page down. I realize that maybe newer or less experienced writers can do this, but sometimes... IDK. It seems like you should know to add more. :P

6.) When A/Ns are longer than actual chapters. Why...?

7.) When authors work hours and hours to create and write stories for us to enjoy, and all a reviewer can write is "Haha"/"LOL"/"Update soon"/"Cool"/"Loved it" or something ridiculously short like that. Come on you guys. The least you could do is leave a decent review. I mean, I'm sure an author appreciates every one they get (I know I do), but still...

8.) Flamers. There is just no reason or excuse for it.

9.) Don't write a story just to write it. Think about it. Plan it. Put energy into it. Make sure it's something people might actually want to read. Don't junk up the archive with nonsense.

10.) Crappy summaries. Don't take this the wrong way, though. I mean when people write something like "Please read it! I promise it's good!" and that's it. Or "It's better than it sounds!" and that's it. Or "I suck at summaries" and that's it. Like, really?

That's about it! :D

But before you go, there's something that I really need to say.

Thank you so much to everyone who supports me in my writing. Occasionally, I get PMs from authors asking about updates and how they love my stories and things of that nature. You guys... really don't know how much that means to me. To this day, I'll still never be able to understand how anyone could like what I write by looking at stories that I've posted in 2010 and 2011. And the fact that you can look at those and label me "a good author" is just the best feeling in the world. You guys (dare I call you fans) are the main reason I do what I do. Because honestly, I would've given up on finishing most of my current projects if I felt like nobody cared.

All my life, ever since I was a little girl, I've always wanted people to look at my work and call me a good author. And even though I don't think I deserve it just yet, that's exactly what I've gotton.
