Author has written 8 stories for Janet Evanovich. What can I say about myself? Well, I am a mother from Indianapolis, Indiana with a daughter and two sons, all aged 5 and under. They keep me busy, but I always find time for my newest hobby here on . My husband is from England and I embrace our cultural differences and hope to integrate both into our childrens' lives as they age. My daughter is in Kindergarten, so we're learning all about having a kid in school. Our oldest son will follow her this fall (2010) and I now know that will make our lives incredibly hectic. I just started writing fan fiction in July of 2008 and quickly fell in love with it. I have a highly overactive imagination, have since I was a girl, so this has been a great outlet for me to clear my mind. I hadn't realized how much I needed this, but it's true that you don't know what you're missing until you try something new. A couple of other hobbies I have are portrait photography and knitting. I like creating wild scenes and creating high- and low-key lighting photos. My favorite subjects are my family and friends. It's a lot of fun and makes me smile when I see what I can create with a camera, a backdrop and a couple of lights. :) I discovered knitting in the summer of 2007. My mother-in-law was visiting from England and she was knitting a scarf for herself for the winter. I had always wanted to learn to knit because I love the look of cable knitting. I asked her to teach me and within the week, I was knitting my first cable-knit afghan square. I grew up crocheting, so the concept wasn't difficult for me to grasp. Since then I have made several cardigans, handbags, sweaters, felted animals, and other small projects. Knitting helped keep me calm during my third pregnancy when I had back problems and couldn't get around. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that you have to count so often? :) I've met several people through fanfiction.net and have enjoyed the friendships I've made. I had no idea how this site would enrich my life when I first started, but I'm so happy I did! Feel free to send me a PM. I love meeting new people; however, I would like to point out that I don't feel I have to subject myself to personal attack by those who feel the need to insult me because they don't like what I write. I will refuse communication with those who feel they need to say mean, insulting things to me just because of a book character. If you feel the urge to PM me to cast judgment on me, it won't be appreciated. I believe that you should extend respect to all people whether or not you like the fiction they write. This is all fun, not life or death. No need to get too serious about it. :) I hope that if you've read my stories, you enjoy them. They were created for that reason and I love being able to share them. :) As far as the Stephanie Plum series goes, I am a Babe. I like to pair Morelli with other characters to give him someone who meets up with his own wants and needs in life. I have paired Stephanie up with someone other than Ranger in two of my stories. I view these characters as exactly what they are, fictional people that can be molded and shaped into anything. I don't stick to canon, what's the fun in that? :) I do hope to branch into other fictional works someday, but these are fun to write for now, so I haven't moved away from them, yet. Happy writing and reading and best wishes to all of you! My avatar pic is an image of the Lester in my head - from TGA. No, it's not a tart piece, but I can never find an image that matches the Ranger in my head, so I had to settle for Lester. :) |
