I discovered the Stephanie Plum books in March of 2007. By June I'd read the whole series. Three times.

Yeah, so I'm a bit of an addictive personality.

I searched for more Plum to feed my addiction and discovered the amazing world of fan fiction. Who knew? So I read here and joined a bunch of Yahoo groups.

In November 2007 I wrote my first fiction in response to a challenge on Perfectly Plum. And then I got addicted to writing.

So what else is new?

About me: I live in South Jersey, about 40 miles south of Trenton, but I gave up my big hair a while back. Still love the mascara, though!

In real life I'm a self-employed technical writer but luckily don't have to support myself, since I hate to work and do it as little as possible. Got the DH to keep me in Tastykakes, and two grown daughters who think I'm nuts but like reading my stories. As long as they don't contain any smut.

New in August 2009: I've been thinking about writing an original romance for a while, considering almost all my fanfic has ended up being of the romantic variety. And I've actually begun. New in 2010: My writing is very stalled and I've lost all interest in plum after the last few books. I spend my life playing Vampire Wars and other Facebook games. Most of my stories are posted in single-file format on babecakesrus in the Yahoo groups, and in e-format on PlumFanFiction4eReaders. Here are links:

New in 2011: Okay, I wanted Steph to sleep with Ranger again, but I didn't want her to turn into a big, fat ho. On the plus side, I love the trailer for OFTM, and can't wait for the movie to come out. I still think about Steph and Ranger on my long drives up to visit my mom, and I have some ideas for stories, but I don't think I'll ever write them. I don't have the heart for it anymore.
