My story, High Noon, is my attempt at a canon sequel to Breaking Dawn.

After reading the final book of the Twilight saga, the characters simply wouldn't leave my mind, and I was left pondering several questions: What would Edward and Bella do next? What would Renesmee be like as an adult? Would Charlie continue to be content with the "need to know" policy? Would she have to end her relationship with Renee? Would the Volturi leave Edward and Bella alone and allow them a happy existence? How did human Alice end up in an asylum? How and why was there a vampire working at that asylum, considering that the Cullens' diet and their ability to live among humans was so unusual? I am attempting to answer these questions in High Noon.

My story is rated T, but it is not written by a teenager, nor is it about teenagers. The story is set ten years from the end of Breaking Dawn, so Bella is 28 (though, of course, her body still looks 18). As for me, I am about the same age as SM.

Jen has helped me through some tough spots in the story, and she has been an immense help in planning out the chapters and working through the details of the plot. Note: If you have read the recently-released "Official Illustrated Guide," please keep in mind that the majority of my story (the first 31 chapters) was written before it was available. Alice's human life in my story is considerably different from what is described in the official guide, and I can't "fix" it without destroying my plot. And to be honest, I've come to prefer my own version of her human life. ;) I've considered trying to go back and fix minor details (the ones that have less bearing on my plot) like the names of Nahuel's sisters, or the gifts of various vampires, but I most likely won't be doing that. There are just too many little things to try to fix them all. So you can consider this story AU from the official guide, but it is otherwise intended to be in line with canon -- the four books, Midnight Sun, and the information that was available on the twilightlexicon site at the time my story was started (2009).

Current status:

"High Noon" is complete except for the epilogue and an outtake, both of which I *do* still plan to post once I have finished writing them -- hopefully soon.

I have also been working on a new story about Seth imprinting which is a spinoff of "High Noon," and I hope to begin posting it soon as well. It will be a told from the imprintee's point of view and will follow the progression of their relationship. Seth will imprint in the first chapter, but rather than immediately professing his undying love to someone he just met, he will try let things happen a little more naturally.

After over two years, I *finally* have that promised epilogue ready for beta and should be posting it within the next week or two. This will be followed by the Felix outtake, and then I will begin posting the Seth story.
