Hello there!

My name is Abby. I'm a 27-year-old grad student with a BA in vocal music (I'm a mezzo-soprano/alto). I'm currently studying arts administration--and writing a thesis is a royal pain in the rear LOL. I love music, acting, and writing. Not only do I write fanfiction. I also write poetry and song lyrics, along with a little bit of original fiction. I play the saxophone and also a little bit of piano (enough to have passed my piano proficiency exams at school LOL). I enjoy composing every now and then, and I also love to read, travel (I've been to England, Scotland, and Wales and different states around the US), meet new people, study languages (I love French, Italian, German, Dutch, Irish Gaelic, Latin, and Quenya and Sindarin Elvish), socialize with my friends, watch movies & TV, shop, sleep, and talk about anything and everything--mostly fandoms LOL.

I don't mind Zuko/Mai, but I hate how it was done in the show. I like the idea of them together, but I really didn't like how it was written. FANON!Maiko where Mai has a personality and doesn't treat Zuko like shit, and where she doesn't get shafted--basically, where it's not so dysfunctional? Yeah, I like it.
