Courtney's Message Board

I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to do with this account. Obviously, I've made quite a few changes, deleting about 90% of my stories, and what not. And, if you haven't noticed, I've been distanced from my writing lately. I deeply apologize to anyone who actually cared for my stories. On a more specific note, I've grown out of the Glee fandom, sadly, so the motivation for those stories has simply vanished into thin air. I never expected too much attention on these stories, so I have no idea what to do with them. I suppose I could give away the plots to someone who is more willing to write them... I just don't know.

Due to my lack of Fanfic inspiration, I don't think I'll be writing any stories — new or old — and I will simply remain a beta for anyone who is looking for some help.

Updates:

His Darkest Hour: This got a lot more attention than I had originally intended, and now I don't even know how to respond to it. Thank you so much for all of the lovely reviews. Wow. That was so great to see. I'm also greatly apologetic for the lack of an update. I seriously did not mean for it to be so popular, nor did I mean to completely abandon it the way I have. Anyways, I always tell myself I am going to update, but I always forget. Well, I am going to write another chapter soon, but I need to watch the movie again just so I can get my nights (and events) straightened out. Thanks again, really.

In Too Deep: After all the time I invested in this, I feel awful for leaving it hanging. I plan to finish it before band camp. I have almost all the chapters written, but they happen to be stored on a different computer that is not mine. So, as soon as I possibly can, I will transfer it to my personal computer and begin working on it once again.

Like Living a Teenage, Sparks, and The Deep and Dying Breath: Since these are just drabbles, I'll basically be working on them over time, when I can't seem to find inspiration for anything else.

The Competition: I wish I felt more dedicated to this story, but I'm just not at the moment. I was really hoping that when Jesse came back in season 2, the events that played out with him would serve as my muse, but with the way things ended in the finale, I really feel even less motivated. One day, I will finish this story because I know exactly how everything will play out, the plot twists, and just... the whole thing. So, it is my goal to finish this, possibly by next March, if we are staying optimistic.

With Grace in Your Heart: Since this is my latest obsession, I'm sure I'll manage to crank out at least 10 chapters before I take a hiatus. Actually, I'm quite certain that after July 15th (well, a few days later, because I'll need time to relapse after seeing it), this story will be the only thing on my mind. For now, I intend to update as frequently as possible. I'll probably write out a schedule for my summer and figure out where I can squeeze this in, as well as maybe set a goal for when I want it to be finished. Right now, I'm thinking early September at best or during my break in October at worst.

I used to be the author of 85 stories, and now I only have a short amount. I also used to go by the name of "heroesatheart124". Well, now I have decided to change my entire account on here, working hard to focus three (at maximum) pieces at a time. Thank you so much to those of you who reviewed and alerted and favorited, and even acknowledged, all of the other stories, but I just don't have time for them, and I want this account to be a bit more organized.
