First and foremost, I am a yaoi fan! If a story doesn’t contain male slash, seme/uke having copious amount of butt-sex or testosterones aplenty, then I am not interested. I am an avid reader of books, manga and fanfiction. Reading is my passion along with listening to music and watching anime.

My love for Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters was due to the voice actor, Dan Green (yes, I’m a voice whore!) who voiced Yugi/Yami/Atem. Enticed by Yami’s sexy voice, I became obsessed with the character. Ironically, my OTP for the fandom is Prideshipping, but it wasn’t the first pairing I tried shipping. Sealshipping was. However, due the lack of fics on the pairing and, thanks to a very talented Prideshpping writer, I turned to shipping Pride and it’s stuck ever since. My favourite character is Yami, hence I don’t mind reading fics with him paired with others—as long as he bottoms and it’s yaoi.

As for reading fics, I prefer stories with plot development, clear-cut direction and character building. Nothing beats a well thought out story with fleshed out characters. I also like to see characters in character, though I will overlook OoCness (with the exception of Kaiba) if the story is good. Originality is a bonus and creativity is always appreciated in my book.

My pet peeves are: OCs used as main characters, self-inserts and basic grammar ignorance. For the former, unless there’s a legitimate need to use them, it should be avoided. Self-inserts are straight no-no! And though I understand grammatical errors are unavoidable, there’s no excuse not to use a separate paragraph when a new person begins to speak. Clumping dialogues from different characters together in one paragraph is a massive turn-off. It’s stressful to the mind and strains the eyes, so please don’t do it!

Hellsing: Alucard x Integra (yes, I know Integra is female, but seriously, have you seen her? She dresses and acts like a dude and Alucard calls her "master"! She's all to male to me, rofl).

Hetalia: Axis Powers: US x UK, Fr x UK. Ukey!Arthur FTW!

Free! Iwatobi Swim Club: Makoto x Haru, Rin x Haru, Sousuke x Haru. Get the drift? I basically ADORE Haru!

Again, the voice whore in me got addicted to these fandoms and the fact that they contain hot bishies with potential—if not canon—yaoi possibilities, did more than its fair share of swaying.

10/11/14 - An update regarding Borrowed Existence and Confessions: Regrettably, I have removed Borrowed Existence because I cannot find the motivation to finish it despite its two chapters away from completion. I am sorry to those who liked it, I hope that maybe one day I will have time to finish it and upload it again.

As for Confessions, I have notes and dribs and drabs written down on various characters’ POVs, but nothing substantial or of the same calibre as Yuugi’s confession to upload. It’s unfortunate I have to be in the right mind-set to write the fic and I have yet to feel the same reckless and impulsive abandon that prompted me to write the first chapter. I do, however, intend to continue with it at some point, but when will depend on my mood. I apologise to those who have been eagerly awaiting an update on it, but know I haven’t forgotten about it. Thank you for your patience.
