Life/Story updates: May 2015: I HAVE MOVED TO AO3 (though not everything followed me there... yet) http:///users/CrimsonFirebreeze I am also on Tumblr! http:// SHADOW FALCON: I am probably going to do away with the Desmond chapters. Seriously I'm all thrown off and I cant do complete AU. It bugs me. So I may be taking it down and redoing it. I'm not sure how I'm going to do this but it's not my main focus. It's on HIATUS. I may post it to AO3 and continue it with some massive prompting from my boyfriend. It was well-loved and I dont have the heart to take it down. I have hope I will get to it eventually Assassin's Creed: Shadow Falcon The year is 1191, and war is ravaging the Holy Land. Altair Ibn La-Ahad is a master assassin, the best of the best that has been stripped of his rank. He had managed to stay in the Master's favor after deflowering his daughter three years ago, and still somehow avoided trouble when he lost Adha to the Templars last year. But the accident in Solomon's Temple had been the last straw for Al Mualim. Now his bitterness has been compacted by the loss of his rank, his pride bruised. Was God mocking him? Shortly after being humiliated in front of the entire guild, he returns to Jerusalem and has to face Malik for the first time after Kadar's death. There, Malik gives assigns him a novice to shadow his every move and learn from him. After three years of working solo, He is forced to get back into the grove of being trailed by an apprentice on his missions. To his surprise, the boy is actually very skilled. To add to that surprise, the boy isnt a boy at all, but a woman instead. His pride takes another nasty blow when he realizes the girl is the same one that nearly cost him everything three years ago, Al Mualim's daughter. As if matters weren't bad enough, he realizes that he is falling in love with her her all over again, but there is only one thing keeping him from reclaiming her heart. Kadar. Malik had once been a master, second in skill only to Altair. He had everything before that mission in Solomon's Temple. He lost it all, because of Altair. Now as the head of the Jerusalem Assassin's Bureau and lacking his left arm, he is finding it too difficult to deal with not only his own sorrow, but that of his charge as well, Kadar's fiance and Al Mualim's daughter. When the girl insists on taking up the sword again, he is forced to give in to her, for he finds that he cannot deny her the freedom she craves. Nor can he give it to her. When Altair enters his bureau, Malik suddnely has a great idea, though he has his doubt about it. sibylla was sent away from Masyaf and Altair for a reason and he knew that reason was for her own good. But how could her deny the girl he loved as his own flesh and blood when the freedom of the lifestyle she once had is the oly thing that can make her happy? Once known as the Falcon of Masyaf, Sibylla had a comfortable life growing up in the Assassin's fortress. Being Al Mualim's daughter ensured that. She had the best education, the greatest comforts, and the Holy Land's best playground. But the day she chose to become one of the assassins instead of marry a rich merchant as her father had planned, she gave up the comfy pillow life and that was fine with her. Being one of the Hashshashin was all she wanted and Al Mualim could no longer deny her when she was constantly picking squabbles with Kadar, forcing Malik to teach her what he knew. That was when Altair entered her life and she fell hard for him. But one night of passion with the master assassin cost her everything and she was stirpped of her rank, sent to Jerusalem and betrothed to Kadar. Three years after leaving Masyaf, Kadar is dead, Malik is now a Rafiq and Altair has come crashing back into her life. Only this time, she despises him. When Malik insists that he take her as an apprentice, she is furious with him but quickly sees the potential in what he has done. What Malik did not plan for is that the old wounds of three years past will resurface as Altair reteaches her the skills that she once knew and her love for him threatens to overtake her. But Altair is not the same man she knew and loved. He is colder, more calculating, and more arrogant than before and has no qualms with inflicting harm upon her. Still she is determined to pull through and soar with the Flying Eagle once again. Meanwhile, back in 2012, Desmond is still at the mercy of Warren Vidic and Abstergo. He still has no contact with the outside world and is beginning to feel hopeless. In the night he hears a rustling in his room and the click of boots on the tile floor. He wakes to find a strange woman over him, claiming to be there to help him escape. He is shocked to discover that she knows so much about him, and even more about his ancestor, Altair. When a security alarm is tripped, Shayna is captured and Desmond learns that she was a former Animus subject who's much needed memories could not be unlocked. Before long, Vidic realizes that Shayna and Desmond's genetic memories are wound tightly with the other's and must be accessed to get to the Piece of Eden. pairings: KadarxOC, AltairxOC, DesmondxOC, implied DesmondxLucy, implied AltairxAdha |
