[derek/jennifer] [complete] Really, getting him into her tiny apartment without anyone seeing proves to be the hardest part of this whole save hot catatonic, bleeding supernatural creature of the night debacle.

[complete][derek/ms. blake] And then she sees him, covered in blood, shirt ripped to shreds and her heart squeezes, but not from fear.

[complete] "I'm not pacing," Stiles argues childishly, "I'm walking back in forth in a very purposeful manner." Derek slams his book close, just barely manages not to roll his eyes, and turns to glance at Stiles with a very unimpressed frown. "Pacing," he reiterates dryly.

[sterek] [wip] The one in which Stiles accidentally summons Derek as his familiar.

[elijah/sophie][complete] Sophie laughs coldly, the sound of it broken and distrusting. "An honorable vampire, please," she scoffs with malcontent, "spare me."

[complete] [sterek] It's a good moment, so of course Stiles has to go and ruin it with his big mouth. "I don't want to die a virgin," he says too quickly, not knowing why he's even said it.

[complete] Caroline can't hep it, she laughs. "Did you seriously just eat a Twinkie?" Klaus frowns. "Despite what you seem to think, Caroline," he says dully, "I was once human; I remember its simple pleasures."

[complete] "Caroline," he says, "love, what have you done to yourself?" She smiles up at him, sweat lining her brow, and whispers, "I freed myself."

[complete] [joanlock] "Sex," he says, "Release. Euphoria. It's something I thought you well-versed in. And, judging by the prowess you exhibited last night, it seems my inference was quite spot-on."

[complete] That is when the horrible dawns on her: she has been buried alive. That is the only explanation for all the dirt, the blackness. She is lying in her own coffin, six feet under. Only, she is not human. She won't die of suffocation. She'll slowly wither, conscious for every excruciating second as she starves into a shriveled up old husk.

[complete] It happens in a blur of pure, unadulterated fear. Caroline moves across the room faster than she can comprehend, thoughts whirling. In the next moment, there is a heart in her hand and gold-green eyes are looking up with a mixture of horror and sickening pleasure. The body of one of The Five falls to the ground, lifeless; dead.

[complete] "Therapy?" he inquires. "Hardly seems your style, sweetheart." "Yeah well, not all of us get to mull for thousands of years over the fact that our father wanted to murder us. I'm new to this, thanks," she snaps, immediately regretting it as Klaus' face hardens. And oh shit, he's going to kill her.

[complete] The man is leering at her, sea green eyes intense. "Can I help you?" he grumbles, and oh god, is that a British accent? Jack-fucking-pot. Caroline snaps back to reality with enough force it gives her mental whiplash. "Tree," she says stupidly. "I brought your tree."

[complete] "Rebekah," a familiar voice says, tone bored and irritated all at once. "Release Caroline; your childish bickering is giving me a headache." Rebekah releases Caroline with a huff and turns to glare at her brother. "She started it, Nik," she growls.

[complete] That gets a sly smirk out of mystery man. "Do you make a habit of sleeping with men while inebriated, love?" She spares him a side eye. "Why? Hoping you'll get lucky?"

[complete] "I do so like it when you try to kill me, Caroline," Klaus hummed, nipping at her neck while he gripped the hand that held the dagger to his side. Caroline absolutely did not moan.

[complete] Klaus frowns, leaning down, his own black wings stretching outwards, shuddering with his enraged concern. "Caroline," he says her name like a command, reaching forward to cradle her cheek in his hand. She flickers her gaze upwards. "My grace," she begins with a whisper, "it dims. And they notice."

[complete] "Another drink for the beautiful lass," he articulates, the deep timbre of his voice sending shivers down her spine. She spares him a sidelong glance and scoffs. "No thanks," she brushes him off, "I don't accept drinks from strange men." The man grins at that, looking down briefly and then back up again, catching her defiant gaze with his own determined look.

[complete] Derek's body is warm pressed against him, solid and real. Stiles doesn't ask why he's here, but he thinks he understands. They stay like that for minutes, hours, Stiles isn't sure. When Derek speaks, his tone is resigned. "The hurt never goes away," Derek tells him. Stiles blinks back tears. "I know," he replies. Warning: Character Death.

[complete] "Fuck you," Jeremy spits as he slips into a defensive position. Kol stops, eyes considering as his lips twist upwards deviously. "Oh," he hisses darkly, tossing the knife onto a nearby shelf. "I intend to."

[complete] "No need to kill her, love," he says huskily. "Merely indulge yourself." Caroline's pupils dilate. She can hear the girl's heart beat, beat beating. The rhythm is steady. The girl feels no fear. "No," she whispers. "It's wrong. She's a person."

[complete] "You will apologize to the lady," he says darkly, anger wafting off of him in waves. It is quite clear the gentleman is two seconds from ripping out the drunken vampire's throat. "Klaus?" Caroline says in disbelief. "Please tell me you didn't follow Elena and me here." She taps her foot impatiently as she glares at him.

[complete] [sterek] Stiles finds himself with a face full of very hot, very angry park ranger. He has a moment to thank the heavens he's not being mugged before said ranger speaks. "What do you think you're doing," he growls, seriously growls, at him. "Um," Stiles starts, blinking rapidly as blotches of light dance in front of his eyes. "I was taking a leak?"
