There are more, I just can't remember them... My Favorites This section is about my favorite stories. I'm going to give a basic description of my favorites and why I think people should read them. Think of it as advertising without pop-ups and yelling. Dark Legacy The first Kim Possible fic that I thought did Zorpox right. Its dark, funny, in character, and moving all at the same time. Zorpox is back (though not in person), and through the use of a machine called the "Aniallation Wave", he plans to use to destroy thousands of innocents. Its up to Kim, Ron, Wade, and Global justice to piece together exactly what the most dangerous villian they've ever had to face planned for them during his breif hours of existence. 9.5 out of 10 for in Character drama, laughs, and deep mind exploration on the part of Ron. XD The Final Exam The original piece that started the huge epic, "The Pits," Read it. Its good. #Nod# 10 out of 10 for keeping an early seed on the net. Five Senses A sweet oneshot that describes what Zoro felt while he was unconious after his "Meeting" with Kuma. ... Not much else to say about it, actually. 8 out of 10 for being in character and far too short and sweet. Interchange A One Piece body switching fic. Its well written, in character, and still in its early stages. Hop on while you can. XD Not much plot has shown itself at this point. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for an update. 7 out of 10 for an astounding begining that doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Knives in the Dark One of the most interesting ATLA ficsI've ever read, period. It took the old premise (Turn Sokka into a badass) and totally flipped it on its head. Not only is Sokka a bad-ass assasin working for Azula, hes still the same person underneath all that truma and blood. All the changes made to the canon plot are original and interesting, and its amazing to watch this different Sokka interact with the different characters. Not to mention its also keeping track of Mai. 10 out of 10 for fun plot, good characters, and the twisting of an old premise. Life Note A oneshot OP/DNcrossover. Its not really in character, but its funny and an interesting perspective on the different ways a Death note could be used. 7.5 out of 10 for an OOC romp through the mixing of two completly different universes. Long Strange Trip One of the few Draken/Shego fics out there that keeps them adult and in character. It deals withthe aftermath of "Graduation," and while it is indeed a strange trip, its a fun one. I won't tell you more beacause I really can't without spoiling. -_-" 8.5 out of 10 for a great adult romance between two very different people. Lovesick A very, very, VERY interesting interpretation of Sanji character. Its presented as a conversation between Luffy and Ussop, and its played perfectly. It feels totally natural and IC. 9.5 out of 10 for an amazing character interpretation and perfect Luffy bluntness. Loyalites A story about what happens when you try to turn the StrawHats against each other. Needless to say, its awesome. Zoro has been poisoned, and unless he gets the antidote, he will be dead in 24 hours. The poisoner is perfectly willing to hand it over, but Zoro has to do a job for him first... Kill Luffy. If he doesn't, Zoro will die and then the Poisoner will go after the rest of the crew. Let the angst and action begin!! :D Its in character, novel length, complete, has one of the best OP Fanfic plots I've ever seen, and it desevres to go down in history. It was finished a couple years ago, (Before The Warden's apperance) so lots of things are jossed, but its still creative and thrilling. 9.8 out of 10 for almost utter perfection Lucky Number Seven Ever wonder how Kim and Ron went from trouble finding them to them looking for trouble? A story told from the Ron's mouth, describing how they meet Wade and things went from Cats in trees to saving the world. ... What else do you want? Its interesting, in character, and down-right sweet. Now go read it! 8 out of 10 for a good story thats just a TINY BIT cliche. No More Secrets, Part 1 and 2 Fry and Leela always seem to end up reading each others minds in Fanfics. Ever wonder who started it? #Points at story# Its written in script form, and it actually feels like a Futurama episode. Its long, no question, but if you've got a couple of hours to spare, its worth it. 7.5 out of 10 for an interesting story thats in sadly in script form and more than a little cliche Not Your Average Hostage Drama ... Pretty much what its says in the title. Lyeda (Horrible name, isn't it?) kidnaps the Warners. Her demands? A 15th anniversary Edition of Edward Scissorhands. And thats before the Warners start messing around... XD Its funny as hell, plays out just like it should, but not in a predictable way, ad Lyeda is just a great character. 8 out of 10 for being funny and original. On The Alteration of Species This is the story I point to when anyone says fanfictionis just written by teenagers with bad grammar. Its complex, a challenge to read in every way that counts, and proves beyond a doubt there's High Class fanfiction out there. It has lots of commentries on how we see the world (Describing Darkness as "A funny thing" leaps to mind) but they never overtake or bring down the story. They accent it, leading into whats going on elegantly, and tieing up chapters in a way that leaves you statisfied but wanting more at the same time. The StrawHats have literally just escaped from the island with the memory erasing Seahorse, and end up being pulled into a riptide that crash lands them into an island not on their original course. There they encounter a Magician with a very strange and wonderful device, a Mayor/Marine, and a plot that is so One Piece and so REAL at the same time. I'm not going to lie to you, its not easy to comprehend the first time through, but its totally worth the satisfaction you feel at the end. 10 out of 10 for being Smart, Challenging, and having a plot that I feel should be published. Orchestral Maneuvers An interesting song fic from Brookes point of view. I'm usually not fond of song fics, but its an interesting comparison and I think it deserves to be read. 7.5 out of 10 for being an interesting and different song fic Plunge The story of what happened after Masks. Can't say anything else withoutspoiling for both. #Sigh# 7.5 out of 10 for a story that's looking more and more like a oneshot. Restitution To say this fic is well done may be an understatement. Its in character, funny, dramatic, and interesting. Roy Mustang has just helped fight off an invasion from another world, and now all he has to do is blow up that Gate in the empty city. He blows it up, all right. When he's about to get sacrificed, and then something stops the Gatelings and says he is owed. Next thing he knows, he's in a field and a small child is crying nearby. A blonde, Golden-Eyed Child. Three guesses on what happened and the first two don't count. XD Yes, I know, it sounds horribly cliche and over-done, but the reasons Roy is there, coupled with fantastic characterization and wonderfully made OCs, this just keeps getting better and better. Another interesting point about this story that should be brought up is its subtle mixing of the anime and manga verse. Its starts small, very obvioulsy being mostly anime centered, but then it mentions that Roy first say Ed in a wheelchair, something strictly from the manga. Then Al wins the fight over who gets to marry Winry, clearly anime-verse. Its just gets more complicated from there. The author obviously loves both equally, and has decided to have her cake and eat it to. Nice. #Thumbs Up# 10 out of 10 for a regularly updated dramatic and funny romp through the past. Embers This story is amazing. Its got fantastic world-building, narration, plot, character interpretations, and all around awesome twists of canon. Zuko has discovered a way to use Firebending to heal. Spirits are deadly, other-worldly, and murdering people for the smallest infractions. The Avatars victory against the Fire Navy at the North Pole is viewed as a massacre. Iroh is much more of a retired general than a Tea Loving Kook. Its kinda-sorta AU, but a lot of events similar to canon happen. Read it. Now 9 out of 10 for a fantastic story that bashes the Gaang more than a tiny bit. But not much more! :( In His Shoes We all know the Freaky Friday plot. Two incredibly different/similar characters get bodies switch for doing something stupid and they all learn important lessons about each other. Been there, done that, why bother reading it again? Beacause this story IS THAT DAMN GOOD. Sokka and Zuko meet in the Lower Ring of Ba Sing Se, and wind up fighting to the death. Literaly. They both die. In the first chapter. But there repective Spirits, Yue and Agni, decide that they weren't supposed to die yet, and they get sent back. The Catch? They switch bodies and they can't tell anyone. Sokka is now living with Iroh, trying to come up with a way to get back to Aang and company as the Angry Jerk, and Zuko is convinced that Agni gave him this body as an oppertunity to catch the Avatar. River in Egypt, anyone? Its fun, in character, and it conforms to canon more than I thought possible. Plus, Firebending!Sokka is just awesome. 9.5 out of 10 for one of the best Freaky Friday stories ever. Dualitys In this story, Zuko and Draco Malfoy end up trapped in an inbetween-place, created by the fact Malfoy was fixing his Vanishing Cabinet while Zuko was hiding from Azula. (Don't laugh, you would have to!) The comparison is interesting, both sent to do impossible things that nobody ever expected them to actualy acomplish. And they are totally in character. Plus Zuko thinking Malfoy was some sort of WoodBender was hilarious. XD 8.5 out of 10 for a comparsion that feels natural and real. Beneath Between Beyond The sequel to Dualitys. Azula has found the Gaang, and they are running for their lives. Then Zuko finds a Vanishing Cabinet in a storage room. Guess who he goes to for help. :) He arrives right when Harry, Ron, and Herminone were brought to the Malfoy Mannor. Let the Chaos begin!! XD 8 out of 10 for a fun story thats getting better every update. Another Brother Hakoda was expecting a raid against a Fire Nation Ship. He got one, to. What he wasn't expecting was a young boy with a half-slit throat and a burn scar worse than all his other men's combined. When the boy comes to, he can't speak, and either can't or won't remeber why he's here. Being far too kind for his and the boys own good, he takes him back to the village. Three guesses on who the boy is and the first two don't count. :D Its a fantastic examination of Water Tribe culture, coupled with an outsiders view and a fantastic sense of what growing up in the South Pole would have done to Zuko, not to mention his affect on Soka and Katara. Iroh, Azula, Mai, Ursa, all of them act differently but are still definetly the same people. Plus the plot and writing are just awesome. XD 9.8 out of 10 for almost utter perfection that hasn't been updated in a while Number 28 You know those FMA fanfics that turn main characters into cat people and werewolves with the whole chimera thing as an excuse? Completely overlooking the fact that chimeras are Nina and Alexander? Yeah... This isn't one of those fics. Ed has been missing for four months, two weeks, and five days. Al is currently scouring the country for him, but Roy has other duties to worry about. Such as the raiding of an abandoned lab left behind by a sick-o alchemist cult. I'd tell you to guess, but a brain dead-monkey could put this puzzle together. #Nod# Ed is a dog/person chimera, eerily similar to Nina. Roy is hiding him as best he can from the military, desperatly trying to find a way to seperate them. Its sad, disturbing, and some of the images Sevlow describes haunt your mind for hours afterward. But it also manages to use that FMA sort of ridiculous humor. Read it with the lights on and an emergency fluff fic at the ready. 9 out of 10 for a sadly beautiful (Not to mention disturbing) tale. Room For Two Sanji and Zoro don't exactly see eye to eye on much of anything. They meet a kid who has the ability to tear out souls. Figure it out. Now Zoro is in Sanji's body, and until they get Zoro's back from the bounty hunters that took it, the're stuck. Its funny, and pretty in character. I like it, so you might. #Shrug# Give it a shot. 7.9 out of 10 for a funny and interesting fic that really doesn't stand a second read through. Roy Mustang and the Bridge of Death The author claims she came up with this after realizing that Bomb from the begining of Conquer of Shamballa looks a lot like the Holy Hand Grenade. ... Its Funny. I mean, really Funny. So Funny it goes beyond my ability to explain. The first chapter was meant to be a One-Shot, so its a bit stand alone. Read the rest anyway. 9.9 out of 10 for a story that is That Damn Funny. Super Eds The Eds get Super Powers. Yep. Read it for its utter cliche fun mixed with some pretty good development on the side of Double D. And its erie Second chapter. #Nod# 8 out of 10 for a fun take on an old idea. Thirteen Going on Fourteen Sanji and Zoro die. At 105. Zoro doesn't think he should be dead. So Zoro goes to the court of Pure Souls to bust heads and straighten things out. Sanji goes 'cause he thinks its stupid. Its a bit OOC, but your too busy laughing to really notice. 10 out of 10 for a funny story that you can read over and over again. Real Life This story is for those who like dark and angsty. I like to think of it as Danny Phantom if someone mixed in 2 gallons of black paint. It is completely AU, so don't expect much to be the same. Basically, It's what Danny Phantom if it took place in the real world. Their is doubt, terror, anger, angst, depression, and even... addiction (Struggling not to spoil) T_T Grammar is spot on, and the plot is fantastic. There is even a noted version on Deviant-art. It's like directors commentary. Its fun to read. I would give this story a 10 out of 10. It deserves to win an award. Star Shots Its a collection of Danny Phantom one shots. There are 86 one shots at the moment and its still going strong. This is the whole package. Some are creepy, some are fluffy, some are horror, some are romance. Some are seeds to future fics, some have grown into real fics. But most, if not all, are AU. Just read some of it . You're bound to find something you like. ;) Pits This is and dark, twisted, violent tale. Drama, angst, and absolute terror mixed into one goose-bump giving package. The story centers around Danny being captured by Walker and forced to fight in the Pits, one of the only places a ghost can die. Danny is forced to kill or be killed and live with the guilt of becoming a murder. BTW, humans get thrown in the Pits to. This story is not for people who like fluff. I wouldn't read this in a room that wasn't warm, brightly lit, and full of people. 9 out of 10 for lots of psychological angst and blood. Living Ghost This story is a Danny Phantom-Animorphs crossover. It's Tobias's point of view, and takes place before/after Reign Storm and after The Beginning (Some things apply and some things don't) This story has amazing plot, but horrid grammar. They only way I could actually enjoy the genius story was copying and pasting whole chapters into word and spell-checking it. Once you get past the grammar, it really is worth reading, 6 out of 10 for genius plot mixed with too many grammar screw-ups and run-on sentences. Phantoms Sketchbook Interesting idea mixed with good grammar=Great Story! This is from Mr Lancers perspective when he finds the infamous Danny Phantoms sketchbook. Why is this a big deal? Lets just say Danny didn't expect anyone to see Phantom drawing in it. Yes, this is one of those 'Lancer-finds-out' stories. But it is different. The author takes it in a new direction. Read and find out. 8 out of 10. Good idea, nice grammar, and exellent plot. Impasse This is a Danny Phantom-Teen Titans crossover. Centers around Raven and Danny pairing. Whats the story like? Think romance and Tuck Everlasting. This is a one shot, and is totally worth the read. I loved it. (I would tell you more, but I can't without seriously spoiling) 9 out of 10 for beautiful romance and very deep ideas. Moments of Clarity A Danny Phantom fanfic from Mr. Lancer's POV. Lancer has been noticing all of the weird behavior from his class. He is so frustrated by it, he wishes he could hear his students thoughts. Which genie ghost do you think hard him say it? You guesed it, it's another 'Lancer-finds-out' story. I happen to like them. 7 out of 10 for good plot but over used idea. Gender Confusion: The Saga of Sam/Doctrine of Danny This one actually two sides of the same story. They are both separate documents Saga of Sam being one and Doctrine of Danny being another. Sam is not repeat not getting sent to a school in London. She runs away, and (with some help from her older brother) transfers to an all boys High school as Samuel Manson. Anyone want to guess who she rooms with? As you can tell, this is AU, so Danny and Sam haven't met before. They have their own side to the story, and it can get pretty confusing. Sam is trying to keep the fact shes a girl a secret and Danny is trying to keep the fact he's half-ghost a secret. Things get even more complicated when they both met both versions and fall in love. In a nut shell, think She's the Man with no soccer and a better plot. 9 out of 10 for a funny, romantic tale. The Official Fanfiction University of Amity Park One of the most hilarious stories I have ever seen. This story does not take place in the show, but in something else entirely. Two fanfiction writers, Emberlynand Nicholas, with seemingly nothing in common, end up in the OFUAP and have to survive principals, homework, roommates, ghost iguanas, ghost powers, random gender swapping, and very very strict rules. This is the complete and total opposite of serious. Read for laughs and laughs only. (Trust me, it delivers there) 9 out of 10 for one of the funniest things I have ever read. My Class Meets One Piece This is a crack fic. It is meant to be funny and nothing else. This is a story about a class full of kids with ADHD that get sent to the One Piece world. Large helping of chaos anyone? Read purly to laugh at. 6.5 out of 10 Dragon Will Be Dragons This is a Xiaolin Showdown story. Ever wonder how Kimiko, Raimundo, and Clay got their powers ended up at the temple that fateful day in Jorney of a Thousand Miles? This story explains it all. I love tihs story. I love it to pieces. It is well written, stays true to the characters, and makes perfect sense. I think this is really how it happened. 10 out of 10 for exellent plot and great grammar. Ruth Monroe: Not Your Cup O' Tea Two words. Absolute hysterics. This story is sort of like a funny parody of the "Girl in One Piece" gerne. Rosoku is a genius comedian, using everything from Chuck Norris to FMAreferences. Its an awesome read. You'll be giggling all the way through it. But its not just funny. Its got a dash of pretty decent plot in there, and even some angst. Never flat out raw angst, more like a parody of angst... Its worth it. Trust me. 9.5 out of 10 for being so freakin' hilarious and still having other good stuff. My Cliche Another "Girl in One Piece" story from Rosoku, but this one is different. Its more serious, and a little at a bit of a higher level. Its really good so far, but it is still in its early stages. Give some chance to grow before you condem it. 8.5 out od 10 for a good start.
