This was so sweet and sad at the same time! I'm so happy that Wheatley made up with Chell, but I'm so sad that she will eventually die and leave Wheatley alone. The parallels between him and the Doctor (both outliving their human friends) made it even sadder.

There are so few Doctor Who and Portal crossovers on this site, and I haven't read a single one of them worth following, favoriting, or commenting on.
Yours, on the other hand, deserves all three. You wrote the characters brilliantly, keeping them all themselves. The approach you took is a very unique one, with Wheatly becoming the Doctor's companion, and living forever, and going on adventures with them, etc. I've never read a crossover that went this direction, but you've pulled it off brilliantly.
Chell and Wheatly's relationship is very well-done; it seemed more in-line with canon than a lot of other stories that involve these two. I have nothing against the people who ship them, but I like your portrayal of them as good friends, willing to forgive and forget despite all of the awful things that happened.
And, of course, I have to throw in something about GLaDOS, seeing as she's my favorite character in Portal. You wrote her very well, and I could practically hear her lines in her voice.

All in all, this is a truly touching story and a wonderful read. I love your writing style and the way you put it all together. Keep writing!

This was lovely to read. The narration flowed nicely, and the dialogue felt natural and in-character, even with my limited knowledge of both stories. It had a nice blend of humorous, touching, and even saddening moments. Kudos to you!

I quite liked Wheatley in Portal 2 and legitimately felt bad about the ending. Seeing them reunited was like getting the ending I always wanted... plus the doctor was there so there was that added awesomeness. lol

That was beautiful. Seriously, I may or may not have a damp keyboard now. I loved the analogy of the Doctor to Wheatley, how they always end up on the wrong side of the bonds they have with humans. This is a truly beautiful kept very canon far as I saw, and the characterization was spot thing while I was reading. I read Wheatey's parts in his voice, and realized that he had a British accent, and since the Doctor and Rose are also British, it was kind of funny playing out in my head, the coincidence. Anyway, I loved the story, it was fantastic.

this was amazing and warms my heart not many things make me smile much anymore these days you my friend have achieved that and for that I thank you. I love everything about this story I do understand the sadness of emortals they live and live never really dyingbut have to watch the mortals they grow close to die and the process wil reapet but having a friend that is also immortal would make everything better immotality is a curse as well as a gift many want to be immortal but only thikking of the pros but never thinking of the cons,

Despite the "it's" instead of "its," "to" instead of "too" and vice versa, I found it touching. I rarely cry, even in the slightest, after reading any fanfiction (when I do), but I did while reading this one.

Either this is one of the best stories I've ever read, or I'm just tired.

Hopefully the first, though probably both.
