Author has written 20 stories for Twilight, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Harry Potter. If sailor tales to sailor tunes, So be it, and fall on! Robert Louis Stevenson, Treasure Island “I must down to the seas again to the vagrant gypsy life, Description: Twenty-one, female, green eyes, blonde hair and the whitest skin you've ever seen. I wish I were on the high seas, but instead I'm in West Virginia. I'm going to join the Marine Corps and specialise in tank mechanics. I work at a small engine repair shop fixing chainsaws and lawnmowers. I belong to two Civil War reenactment groups, which means I spend my weekends sleeping on the ground in canvas tents and marching out on battlefields to fire my rifle or my unit's cannon at Yankees. I spent my childhood gallivanting about in my father's boots and dress shirts pretending to be a pirate and 'swordfighting' with my nephew PegPelvisPete with stick and foam 'cutlasses'. I spent my adolescent years swimming naked in wild mountain rivers and fending off bears. I'm not kidding. I write. Constantly. I also keep vampire hours, which is why it's 3:30 in the morning and I haven't slept yet. I met SirenoftheStorm on this website and not only is she an excellent fanfiction writer well worth reading, she is now also my roommate and best friend. I love dancing and men and little black dresses but I also love rifles and working on cars. I haven't reconciled the two yet. I speak like a Victorian novel and I absorb useless-but-interesting historical facts like a sponge. I also play Skyrim too much. I call this an odd diversity. Obsessions: Cheap rum, parties, disease pathology, piracy, tall ships, good music, writing, the 18th and 19th century, attractive men, Coca-Cola, reenacting, serial killers, ghosts and proper spelling, not necessarily in that order. Which basically sums up to mean that unless someone has invited me to drunkenly dance at their house, I get drunk on my own, write about disease- and crime-ridden London or Charles Towne and the degenerative sorts that reside therein and thereby block out depression. My novel, I've been writing for ten years. It's an obsessively-researched historical-fiction novel involving pirates and a dash of mythology. Fanfiction is an outlet for various other stories and ideas that occur to me and I regret that it has been four years since I updated here. I plan to change that soon. Dislikes: excessive use of the word 'said' in writing, unsolicited hate, people who think rape or violence are funny, spiders and James Potter, are a few that come to mind Likes: Shrimp linguini, hedgehogs, Sharpie markers, James Norrington, black coffee, travelling and other assorted things. I'm easily entertained. If you like my writing, would like a beta-read, have something you'd like to share or just want to talk, grab a glass of rum (\_/') and drop me a line! Cheers! Isaac Asimov "I called them mad and they called me mad and damn them! they outvoted me!" Nathaniel Lee "At what point did we ever think it was self-evident that all men are created equal and they all come with a pie?" Glenn Beck "Writing is easy. You only need to stare at a piece of blank paper until your forehead bleeds." Douglas Adams "Because I could not die; I went on living. Because I could not live; I went on writing." Tristan Corbiert "One writes out of one thing only - one's own experience. Everything depends on how relentlessly one forces from the experience the last drop, sweet or bitter, it can possibly give." James Baldwin "No man is sane who does not know how to be insane on proper occasions." Henry Ward Beecher "I put my heart and my soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." Whenever it comes on, I go in the next room and read a book." Groucho Marx "Of course I'm crazy, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong. I'm mad, but not ill." Robert Anton Wilson "When in doubt, look intelligent." Garrison Keillor "They couldn't hit an elephant from this dist-" last words of Union General John Sedgewick, battle of Spotsylvania, American Civil War, 1864 "There is no halting place between regulation and absolute prohibition and any Government mad enough to attempt the latter would bring about open revolt." British Medical Journal, March 20, 1897, concerning the regulation/prohibition by the British army of prostitution in India. I, MorganBonny, do solemnly swear to review all the fics I read, regardless of the number of reviews, its age, how utterly awful it is, how much it makes me gag, what random nonsense it is, how completely OOC it is, what total crap it is, how badly written and poorly developed it is or anything else. I have joined the review revolution! After much calculation, obsession and complicated maths on the part of SirenoftheStorm and I, we have estimated that during any given minute, 405 heterosexual American and British Navy men are taking off their clothes. Think about that for a minute and you'll realise that, as you think, 405 more are in the process of getting undressed. Once you've successfully re-started your heart, I'm sure you'll agree with me that the world is an awesome place. 07/22/09 UPDATE: To the fans of 'Choices' out there and all my other unfinished fics that I vowed to finish: yes there will be more chapters. Please be patient. I will finish the story. Soon. In the meantime, go read SirenoftheStorm's fic 'Dead Reckoning' to get your James Norrington shot.
