Reviews for Diamonds & Drabbles
redstarsarc chapter 9 . 9/17/2017
I love these drabbles, I only wish there were more! It really does take talent to tell a story in so few words, offering a glimpse of a scene and allowing the reader's imagination to fill in the blanks. I'd have to say my favorites are "Ignis Fatuus", "Sting of the Wasp", and "When in Singapore." The first two for such vivid, eerie imagery, the third for being perfectly typical Pintel and Ragetti and a Barbossa who's sick of their nonsense.

This is adorable and could easily be a clip in one of the movies.

What a great response to the prompt! This had me laughing, and I absolutely did not expect your last sentence - how perfect!

I do love Pintel and Ragetti drabbles - they are such a great comedy "team" and it's so wonderful to watch them try to figure things out! I hope you'll do more :-)

Well done!

And quite typical:-p
Umeko chapter 9 . 7/26/2014
LOL. This is classic Pintel and Ragetti tomfoolery. :D

God, I love your drabbles. Thank you so much for posting a new one! This was a hilarious insight into the brilliant world that is Pintel and Ragetti. It is exactly the kind of stupid thing I can imagine them doing. This little scene would have slipped seamlessly into the film!

Well done and welcome back, lovely :)

Hi, came across these drabbles by accident and thoroughly enjoyed reading them. You have some interesting ideas which you put beautifully into words. Particularly liked the firefly image. Well done:)

Mrs P:) and good luck with finals:)
Stutley Constable chapter 4 . 10/1/2010
Very poetic. You paint an erie scene with so short an entry.

Thanks for including the note at the end. Those are a couple of tales I will have to look up. :)
Stutley Constable chapter 3 . 10/1/2010
Sweet.

Is Elizabeth Welsh?

I claim no great knowledge of the saint's days. I only knew this one because I looked it up and I have a copy of Agincourt by Bernard Cornwell.
OnceUponAPirateShip chapter 7 . 8/30/2010
Ooooh! This is so exciting! Literally made my day. I can't wait for the new story now! This was like a trailer for it! :D

I loved how it changed from "Jack searched for Radha" to "Jack searched for HIS Radha". Very clever! :)

Well done!

Pirate-on-Fleet-Street chapter 7 . 8/25/2010
Ah, so this is a sneak peek of sorts into what is to come? Or just a taste? Either way (or neither), it's a colourful and interesting drabble. Something about the red skirt really grabbed my attention.

Well done!

Nytd chapter 7 . 8/25/2010
An exotic and elegant drabble. :) So many details about sounds and sights and smells in this piece that we feel we are meandering through the crowded market with Jack.

An expansion of this sounds intriguing! :)
