![]() Author has written 36 stories for Chronicles of Narnia, Misc. Games, Fairy Tales, Sound of Music, Misc. Books, Bible, Princess Bride, Little Prince, Tangled, Tinkerbell, Pocahontas, Frozen, Into the Woods, and Harry Potter. I started writing and posting fanfiction in 2006 but for a long time my profile had absolutely NO information about me. I liked the idea of being a mysterious writer with a secret life. Well, now I'm a bit less dramatic so I'm opening up. I love literature (with some exceptions). I love kids (with few exceptions). I love God (always and forever.) I have a younger sister that I am incredibly close to and she is developing her own writing style as well. NARNIA STORIES Broken: Edmund and Aslan have a conversation after Edmund is rescued. This was my first fanfic and I am very fond of it. Reading it over now, I see its' flaws but it's still a good read. Fear: What is Edmund thinking as Aslan and the White Witch talk? I just wanted to explore Edmund's character a little bit more. Truth: Susan and Lucy are very different people. This becomes more apparent when they go to boarding school. I had planned for this to be a four-chapter fic but then I started fleshing out Lucy's friend, Marjorie, and writing her was so much fun that I kept on writing and writing and ended up writing about Marjorie's betrayal in VODT. To my great delight, this one won an award on Lion's Call! Beautiful: How Prince Rilian meets the Lady of the Green Kirtle and comes under her enchantment. I'm not too sure about this fic, perhaps because romance isn't really my genre...maybe I'll rewrite the whole thing. But I'll leave the last chapter. It is good. Peter's Temptation: Peter goes to stay at the professor's house and finds himself drawn to the old wardrobe. After writing four stories, I realized that the only Pevensie I hadn't written about was Peter. I began to wonder why and decided that it was because Peter was the hardest one for me to relate to. And the moment I had that thought, I knew I wanted to write a Peter story. So I did and while I was writing it I realized that Peter and I had a lot in common. I like the story. But I hate the title so if you have any ideas...or any general comments...let me know. A Very Strange Meeting: The Pevensies of the movie meet the Pevensies of the book. I wrote this in anger right after seeing Prince Caspian. For a while, I thought it was a very strange story and I certainly didn't plan on posting it anywhere. But in the end I decided I would. The Ocean: Story of Susan, her husband and daughters, post LB. After reading yet another story in which everybody dies and Susan grieves and remembers Narnia, I vowed, "I will never write a Susanfic!" And immediately, I wanted to write one. So I decided to make it as different as possible from all the other Susanfics. I purposely avoided writing from Susan's POV, in order to avoid all the cliches. I wrote from the POV of the man she marries, Charles, and the POVs of their daughters, Susie and Helen. Perhaps, because this is my most recent story, I have trouble finding flaws in it. But I know they must be there, so I'd love it if you'd help me out. OTHER FANDOMS The Sound of Words: Brigitta has always been my favorite character so this is the story of The Sound of Music retold from her POV. One of the Seven: Humorous little story in which Snow White solves a mystery. Written for my little sister who loves mini-mysteries of all kinds. Snow Island: A Princess Bride fanfic told from the POV of Wesley's and Buttercup's son, Ras. The Price of Gold: Based on the story of Rumpelstiltskin. Ellis is summoned to the palace because the king wants her to spin straw into gold. She makes friends with the little prince, makes a deal with a magical man and discovers that the king has a deep secret. The Strong and the Weak: The story of Frozen from Elsa's and Anna's point of view. An exploration of what it means to be strong. Also an appearance by Rapunzel. Favorite Writing Quotes: If there's a book you really want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it. Toni Morrison What I like in a good author is not what he says, but what he whispers. Logan Pearsall Smith Metaphors have a way of holding the most truth in the least space. Orson Scott Card The best time for planning a book is while you're doing the dishes. Agatha Christie Pen names are masks that allow us to unmask ourselves. C.
