I've been reading fanfic since around 2005 or so, when I was a teenager. Looking back through the stories I have in my favorites list, I can't necessarily recommend all of them anymore, but I'd rather keep them as a record of what I used to like than remove them. Although some of my old favorite stories have since been deleted by their authors, which is a shame.

Specifically, I would like to note that I no longer ship Draco/Hermione, not because I've seen the light about bad boys or whatever, but because Hermione Granger has been dead to me as a character since she Obliviated her parents. To me, those who hurt the people they love "for their own good" are far more terrifying and unforgivable than those who hurt their enemies because they hate them. I'm sure there are people who, if they ever came across this profile, would be offended at my opinion that Hermione is morally worse than Draco, and I don't wish to minimize real life issues like racism or bullying, but human rights violations committed in the name of "helping" people is also a real life issue, and one which unfortunately gets a lot less publicity.
