In a perfect world I would only be working on two stories at a time. However I keep thinking of new ideas and I hardly have the time to read let alone write anything.

I thought it would be nice to explain why these ideas came to me and what I was thinking when I wrote them. Not so much a summary but more about the inspiration behind the fic.(c)= completed

Gossip Girl:

Dangerous Affection was an idea that floated in my head for months before I wrote it down and it made me return to fanfiction something I had used when I was in middle school and high school. The story started with the concept of what Blair and Chuck would look like if their relationship began at the pilot. I never read the books but I know that Chuck and Blair were never suppose to be a thing let alone have their chemisty take over the entire show. So it is essentially a rewrite of the first 6 episodes. I also like to think that if they were in a relationship for a year before his father dies Chuck may have run away from her etc. Lost Weekend is companion fic that I felt I needed to write because Nate's character really needed a moment to explain his shift and why he is different than the show.

Lady in Red was inspired by a Spanish short film called Cafe para llevar in which two former lovers met in a cafe by chance. The women is engaged and the men who never wanted children is expecting with his new girlfriend. They say their goodbyes and there is something so heartbreaking about their final goodbye. You get the sense they will never see each other again but will always love each other. And I loved it. But I thought can they ever have what they once had? I thought of Blair and Chuck (the couple that made it through everything somehow) and wondered if they would be able to get pass this. The reason why I call it the Lady in Red is because the song always makes me feel about how a man watches a woman that he knows and appreciated her in a different way and however thing changes in that one moment. A moment he will never forget. So when Blair is wearing red in the fic she belongs to Chuck and what she is to him shifts in those moments. The color red reminded me od the holidays which in turn lead to a holiday fic.

For Love or Money this story came to me in a series of parts. It is going to be a long one guys. I pieced together like four different story ideas I had. Essentially it can be divided into a season 1 and a season 2. Villains will change and characters will grow and everyone is involved in such different things. Chuck is running a company and evading the law, Nate is trying to get his cousin elect all the while trying to figure out his relationship with Serena. Meanwhile Blair and Serena are trying to make it through high school dealing with kidnappings, first loves, college decisons and daddy issues. This is the first time I focused heavily on Nate and his family and I am having a ball writing them. Also the age difference between Chuck and Blair is something I wanted to work on for a while. The story starts with Blair needing money and how that is going to eventually affect Chuck's life and those around him.

(c) Love Chrome is an AU world in which soul mates are found through genetic matching. I was inspired by reading the wiki plot for the last official Gossip Girl books. Apparently Chuck returns from a monastery and is zen and dating Blair which is what I have him do here. Blair yearns for spontaneous romantic but also for her soul mate. When Chuck returns for Nate and Serena's wedding he quickly sweeps her off her feet? But can Blair love someone who isn't her soul mate? Can they have a future? Their past will need to be rediscovered and their secrets will come to light.

(c)Pictures of Blair was inspired by the song Picture of You from The Cure Especially the line "I've been living so long with my pictures of you/ That I almost believe that the pictures are/All I can feel. It was supposed to be a two shot angst fic with no real conclusion but the hopeless romantic in me gave in and I wrote a happier ending. My favorite part of this story is however the first two chapter and writing about Chuck's pain/ isolation.

Mi Reina I always wanted to post a F&F fic on here but I never got the nerve to do it. I have so many ideas. Then Juan Gabriel passing made me play some of his music and I head Amor Eterno this fic came to me. I thought of Letty mourning her parents and how that would affect a relationship with Dom
