Author has written 63 stories for Final Fantasy I-VI, Digimon/Pokemon, Misc. Books, Fairy Tales, 9, Bible, Rowan of Rin series, and Deltora Quest. Hi! Welcome to CrazyTwin Productions! As all my minions are busy at the moment, I, the producer, will be your tour guide for the day! Aren't YOU a lucky duck! If you see a hunk of coal or limestone driving a tour-shuttle around, don't be alarmed: they're just hard working sedimentary rocks, trying to make an honest, descent living. And if the blonde guy at the admissions desk tries to start up a conversation, please don't engage him. A final note before the tour begins, if a big pink salamander or a blue snake threaten you with whiffle bats, explosives or rocks, don't take it personally: they like to lord their security-personnel authority and influence over tourists. I've asked them to stop, but they don't always listen. If this bothers you, I'll have a word with them as fast as I can white them out. ;) My name - as far as y'all know - is Freida Right. I've been writing here since 7th or 8th grade. Final Fantasy is my mother-fandom, but I've since gone forth to colonize the 9, Deltora Quest, and Rowan of Rin fandoms, too. The latter two of which, in a shocking twist, have merged into the land of the Nine Seas. I don't even... Whatever. I'm apparently a sorcerer. I have a Bachelor's in Culinary Management, courtesy of the Art Institutes of America. I intend to own a restaurant group called Rose Works - which is more like an empire in my head - and I intend to show up at every single one of them dressed in a Steampunk gown and a tiara to survey everything. None of this undercover boss biz for me. Why have an empire, if you're not going to do it right? Long story short, of course I need fanfiction to unwind. XD How's 'bout some vitals? Name: Um... Haha, guess: DETECTIVE NAME: (fav color and fav animal): Red Owl STAR WARS NAME: (the first 3 letters of your last name, first 2 letters of your first name, last 3 letters of mom's maiden name): Rocemose ROCK STAR NAME: (fav fruit, and something that can go wrong) Starfruit Identity-Theft ORGANIZATION 13 NAME: (the letters of your first name scrambled, with an x in there somewhere) Ixymel Age: 27. Too old to be writing Rowan of Rin fanfiction? Yes. Too old to care? Very yes. Eye Color: Blue Hair Color: Brown (Although someone said that I should dye it purple or green. No way!) Location: This wondrous land called emily'. Located somewhere on the east coast. Nice white rice, y'all! CTP News And Stuff: As of May 14... Post-Deltora Stress Syndrome forum news... I can't believe how long Reunion has taken. It's been more than a year now, mainly due to crippling mental health issues and general frustration. It keeps taking me months to write simple things... :/ 9 community news... I have come to the sad realization that my strange obsession with 9 is now over. That is a shame - all my OC's are still fully functional in my head, but I doubt that Beneficial will ever be finished, as the plot basically walked off a cliff and died. It just got complicated and out of hand and... Meh. I quit liking it. In any case, Sacrificial was the soul cleansing epic that I needed in college. It served its purpose, and I am still overly proud of it. It's a pretty decent note to end on. So, I've gracefully said goodbye to that part of my life - first college, first job, first car, first major loss of family, first bad boyfriend - and am carrying on as a slightly larger person than I once was. That time was precious and informative, and my gang of 9-ians was the absolute best. Celestial Rainstorm, Barn Owl Girl, and Poppy were some of the people I looked forward to speaking to most every day for 3 years. It was magical, and I miss that gang of quirky, clever girls. We got each other through some pretty rough times, and that is beautiful. R.I.P. Beneficial A Home for the EdgexRydia Shippers forum news... TDSM is working. Puddlebeard will be making an appearance shortly, and Rosa might literally kick his ass. No solid decision yet on whether or not her husband will get the chance to help her. Wait, have I really been working on this fic since 2013? OH MY GAWD. IRL news... I can't believe I missed turning 27. I can't believe I've had certain things in progress since 2013 and still haven't finished them yet. I can't believe How bad my depression is sometimes. On a scale from 1 to even, I can't. Big changes in writing this year. I'm putting together a freelance business, and will hopefully be ready to go live by the end of the year! Also, I'm making a difficult decision to move fully to Archive of Our Own in a month or two. I've decided I prefer their setup and their openness to creative formatting, and also just want to continue supporting them as they grow. It's been hard to make both these decisions for myself, since I've been here literally since middle school, and much of my strength as a writer was built here. My time on this cite has made me the content creator I am today, and given me the skills I need to finally make a living working with my first love: words. In other news... I am now registered as a Beta, mostly for 9, Final Fantasy IV, and anything by Emily Rodda, in case you can't tell from from my repertoire. All books and cartoons welcome as well. No hardcore yuri, yaoi, explicit sex or pointless fluff, please. Other than that, welcome aboard! If you are here for the 9-fics, please be warned: when it comes to the twins, I write 4 as a girl, not a boy. I feel that it adds some dynamic and depth to characters who were left pretty static and flat, and makes it easier and more interesting not only to write about, but to read about, as well. I am also aware that, in reality, both the twins are boys; be aware, yourself, that 9 is not real at all. Also, I am not the only person in the fandom who feels this way about the twins, and I have actually found a little evidence from the movie to back our point up. That in mind, I'm not changing the way I write my fics; and, if you don't like it, you don't have to read it. You have now been warned. From now on, anyone who flames me about 4 will be blocked from my page. That is all... My Stories--Only the important ones that you need to know. Someone New to Love (c. 2005): my Edward fic; from middle school, but considering that the caliber is better than everything else from this era, I'm very proud of it. Edward's recovery in Troia leads him to a new love interest, who is featured quite often in some other stuff I wrote in middle school... Please don't read those. Don't read ANYTHING from middle school, except this. Faraxhae Family Circus (c. 2008-9): much more recent. This one is all about Palom and Porom and their miniscule role in the game. Faraxhae is their surname. As most of my epic fics do, it's highly off-canon, makes stuff up, and fills in plotholes that need filling. Palom and Porom have a mom AND a dad, the Elder is their uncle--and so is Tellah, just like we always knew he MUST be. This epic was a victory. Read and bask in its goodness... Anna Begins (c. 2009--???): I've always been curious about Anna. She was Tellah's kid, after all--surely she was heroically well-adjusted and more than a little rebellious. This one is about her brief but exciting life--her home town of Kaipo, her boarding school days in Baron, deep romance with a certain spoony bard, etc. Will be completed... some day... Overlaps with FFC. A Meeting With the King (c. 2008): another FFIV oneshot, about the king of Baron. It's short and sweet, and fairly nondescript; but it features Cecil, Rosa and Kain in one place, and sheds some light on the king they all thought they were serving. I'm also very proud of this one--I feel that was very well done. To the Dark Side of the Moon (2013-???) The new arc concerning Palom and Porom, on a completely new plane of exsistence. Orphans with no name, hated in Mysidia and worried over by their friends, the brother and sister set out to find the identity of their father. At the same time, an old friend and the man he once fought and hated, must set asisde their broken past to find out more about their own father. The two seemingly unrelated quests converge, to reveal at last, that these separate people are more closely intertwined than they had ever thought possible... Where The Wild Things Are (c. 2010): for 9. For this one, you have to assume that all nine Stitchpunks are alive, and are actually in a universe parallel to the movie: a universe known as my grandmother's house. Here, they ruin my life and the life of my little cousin as we try to spend a month with our cranky old grandparents. Their antics are no different, except you finally get to see all nine of them forced to live together in a dark closet. XD NO yaoi or yuri. Sorry. 7 Song (c. 2010): my only real poem-fic. It's all from 7's POV, and she's yelling at 1. (The jerk...) It's got an actual tune; I wish I could publish a small score or a midi on the site so your could hear it. It's really pretty. The Other Eyes Saga (c. 2010-2012): formerly a series of oneshots for 9. It involves pairing each of the Stitchpunks with a relevant scene from the movie and then re-writing the scene from their POVs. Like all by best fics, they tell a much more interesting story than the movie had time to tell. Prodigal (c. 2012): more 9 fic. Based on the parable of the prodigal son, 3 feels unduly neglected because of a new baby and runs away from home to find a family that will appreciate him. And, when he finds a new family, everything seems to be perfect... until he realizes through trial and error how wrong he was about everything. But how can he return home, after all he's done? Would his real father welcome him back? If you know the parable, and if you know 9, you know the answer. ;) Powers That Be (c. 2012): The talisman has three separate powers: construction, destruction, and reconstruction, and a sequence for each power. The Scientist has all three, but focuses on the power of construction (life), and entrusts the other two sequences to 1 and 2. 2 gets destruction (death) because he is the only one responsible enough to be trusted with it. And 1 gets the power of reconstruction, which turns back time enough to set right a wrong. Sacrificial (c. 2012-2013): The Lost have returned from the dead, and the world is as it should be. Until a beautiful young Stitchpunk girl named Pi falls into their lives, and changes 5's place in this world forever. She comes with a sinister purpose: to bewitch and kidnap other 'punks to bring back as sacrifices to her master! But is she truly evil, beyond all hope of salvation, or is the one-eyed engineer the one who can save her? The Alphabet of Obscurities (c. 2007; revised c. 2012): originally, The Unrhyming Alphabet of Obscurities; but, about 1 a.m. one evening in June, 2012, I suddenly decided to make it rhyme, after all. It's my three favorite fantasy series--none of which anyone else knows of--in an alphabet. It's actually inspired one or two people. Deluge (c. 2014): Another Rowan binge read left me desperately craving some romantic closure. So I wrote a short piece about Rowan and Zeel making out in the rain. Not a major work, per-say, but I am extremely fond it and how it turned out. :) What Happens in Broome (c. 2014-2015): For Dragons of Deltora, the third and final arc of the Deltora Quest series. 10 days is a long time to spare when the world is in danger. But in those 10 days, Barda and Lindal find themselves doing something they never thought they could do - falling in love! Very fluffy, rated M for, um, adult content. 0.0 Star's Journey: The Dragon Queen (c. 2014-2015): -a continuation of Rowan of Rin- -part I of V- Star of Rin is just your average daughter of famous heroes, gifted with power she doesn't understand, and a passion for writing great stories. But when her mother is kidnapped by the Zebak and taken to their walled city, destiny calls her to a great adventure of her own. With the help of her loyal cousins and a mysterious stranger, Star is determined to rescue her mother at any cost. What she stumbles into is a city of unwilling servants, a rebellion hatched in secret, and the iron-fisted rule of a Dragon-blooded Titan... Star's Journey: The Moonstone Fragment (c. 2015 - 2016): -part II of V- Six months have passed, and Star and Forley have gotten themselves involved with the growing Zebak rebellion. More eager to help than ever, they and Zan enlist the help of a local thief child to infiltrate the compound the people still call Rin, where a secret more precious than gold is waiting for them... Star's Journey: The Night Watch (c. 2016) -part III of V- Star, Forley, Zan, and Vivi have grown to be fast friends with a great purpose: to use their varied skills and talents to save the people of Habaharan and make their lives better. They go about the city by night, foiling guards and freeing slaves, and the people now call them the Crusaders. But when Zizi is captured, along with Iris, a girl from Maris, the Crusaders embark must embark on their most dangerous mission yet... Star's Journey: The Hall of Masks (c. 2017): -part IV of V- The Zebak rebellion is gaining strength; and though she denies it, the queen is troubled by it. For many reasons. When she announces a grand masquerade ball within the palace walls, the rebels are sure that their moment of truth has come; and Star, anxious for action and freedom, is determined to rise up alongside them. Zan and his brothers suspect a trap - but they could never prepare themselves for the horrors and betrayal awaiting them in the lair of the Dragon Lords... Star's Journey: The Reunion (c. 2018 - ???): -part V of V- The Shadowlord has come to the Zebak lands, and the rebellion has been crushed in the blink of an eye. Old heroes and new must now band together, with the help of a new Titan and an ancient Dragon - not only to win their freedom, but to drive an impossible Enemy back into the shadows. And now, some of these things. I try to include something for everything... :P If you wish to find a raindrop with tiny little green fragments of soul in it, copy and paste this onto your profile. Thanks for coming and have a nice day! If the red-head at the customer service desk is painting her nails and talking on the phone again, feel free to smack her and order her to get back to work, very much in the fashion of an evil overlord. Throw your trash in a garbage can, please; my only two janitors are a couple of tree-frogs and they work very hard to keep this studio clean. Oh, don't mind those black footprints on the floor: Coal's just been here, that's all. (Unless Benny fell asleep at the admissions desk again; then I'd advise you to watch your backs for a while...) The exit is behind you, and the gift shop is to your immediate left... Nagaina, these are paying customers; don't hurt them, or they'll sue me. And you don't want that... Do you?! :D |
