Author has written 10 stories for Teen Titans, Dawn of the Dead, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Halo, Maximum Ride, Walking Dead, Arpeggio of Blue Steel/蒼き鋼のアルペジオ, and RWBY.

My name is unnecessary, my location inconsequential. I am male. My age is greater than twenty-something. I have a hard time keeping track.
I'm an Air Force veteran (a big inspiration for some of my stories) and I'm currently a Film School student.
My biggest aspiration is to be a filmmaker and a novelist. Though I discovered, after making a half-dozen short films, that writing is something I don't need anyone else helping me to do. So, for now, that's what I'll focus on, whenever Film School doesn't require my immediate attention.
I'm not Ernest Hemingway, Virginia Woolf, David Foster Wallace or Thomas Pynchon. I'll never be as good as those once in a generation talents, but I love telling stories and I think I may just be good enough at it to be able to as a career someday. That's the dream. So, in the meantime, any practice is good practice, so I'm back here after years and years away.

Any questions or comments, please go for it!

It occurred to me that I should write a little about all my stories, so people will know a little about them. I'll be doing this in the order they're listed under my Story Manager.

Contemplative
This story came from a chapter I wrote for another Teen Titans story that I ultimately deleted (I'll talk more about that story in a moment). The chapter ultimately didn't work in the other story, as the plot went a different direction, so I modified it slightly to become a simple one shot centering around Raven and Robin. I actually like this one a little bit.

Huntress
This was a wonderful idea I had a long time ago and it was really going places. It was over twenty thousand words long and had momentum when I took down all but two of the chapters to edit and rework them before I continued the story. Then, the computer I had all of it saved on died, taking all of the work with it and that pretty much killed my drive to rewrite what was lost and keep telling the story. I may revisit this one someday, because I loved the story and the characters and I have a very good idea of the entire plot. Guess we'll see.

Silence
I've always loved the zombie genre (my first major story was for Dawn of the Dead [more on that one in a bit]) and this was my attempt to write a Walking Dead story to counter what frustrated me about some of the characters of that show and their dumb decisions. Being in the Air Force at the time, I modeled my main character after my own experiences and several people in the service I had met. I may continue this one someday, but I need to rework the chapters that are already up and then go back and review Season 2 of the show (where my story starts) and go from there. Though, I will admit that when I wrote this, the show was in it's third season and I was still right there with it. Over the next three seasons, my love for the show and affection for the characters has waned quite a bit. I can only stick with so many stupid character decisions for so long. So, if I don't continue this one, it wouldn't surprise me terribly much.

Salutations
First off, Penny is my absolute favorite character on the show RWBY and Pyrrha is a character I really love as well. So, I was inspired to write this story based on how much I adore these characters. It's pretty simple, really.

Somewhere in South Jersey
This was an incredibly stupid idea that randomly came to me one day and made my sixteen year old self laugh so hard that I wrote it down. It was so sophomoric and bizarre that I thought it just might work. I will never continue this. Like The End, it's sort of a monument from the writer I started out as.

The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea
This is the story I'm currently working on. When I read the manga of Arpeggio of Blue Steel, I absolutely adored the idea, the world, the story and the vast majority of the characters. My story and my characters just sort of came to me and as I began to shape the plot and figure out the characters' motivations, I fell in love with both Marcus and Rosie and who they are and the dynamic they have together. So, based primarily on them is almost all of my drive to write their story. I'm writing for them, if that makes any sense. It's proving to be a lot of fun so far and I have a wonderfully loyal and supportive reader base that I only hope will get grow larger as the story does. It may ultimately prove to be several hundred thousand words long and I dearly hope that I'll finish this one. Out of all my stories, this one and The Third Team are the ones that I hope people read.

The End
Here it is. The relic. The End was a story I wrote when I had just turned sixteen years old and had no concept of grammar, punctuation, or spelling and scarce comprehension of dialogue. To compound all of this, I used WordPad or some other program that didn't have spell check, because I had no better program at my disposal to use. So, even though I reworked chapters multiple times, they're still absolutely abysmal in terms of quality. The plot of the story itself came from a great conversation with my best friend in high school about what we and our close circle of friends would do if zombies ever suddenly appeared. I can't remember the exact reason I stopped writing this one, but I think I was so frustrated with the quality after the first year-ish, that I just gave up. As incredibly tempting as it is to delete it, I'm leaving it alone and unedited. I called it a relic and that's exactly what it is. I can go back and reread it whenever I want just to see how much I've improved in the decade since I wrote it and to remind myself that I can always get better. Read this one at your own risk, folks. It's pretty universally awful and I absolutely cringe at it and some of the Author's Notes, especially. But, I guess that's who I was at the time and it was my first major story and my first attempt to write anything fictional of length, using highly inadequate tools, at that. So, as a little time capsuled history of me, it's priceless and I'll always treasure the experience and fun I had writing it. I may even publish another story someday using the same characters (basically a rewrite without touching this one) just so I can say I recovered. I still love zombie stories, after all. Hopefully, though, The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea will overtake this to become my longest story. That'd be nice. At any rate, remember kids, if you keep writing, you do get better eventually.

The Reflection of a Fractured Mirror
The End was my first major story, but the first story I ever wrote on this site was titled Darkness and Light. When I saw the very first episode of Teen Titans in the Summer of 2003, within an hour I had already thought up my own character. As the plot of the show went on, I refined said character and eventually built a story with him as a major supporting player. Darkness and Light was an absolutely dreadful thing that thankfully hardly anyone read and I deleted it pretty quickly. The Reflection of a Fractured Mirror was my half-hearted attempt to rewrite the story I had conceived. I had inspiration to write the prologue (which was intentionally short and vague) and I did, but ultimately the drive left. As much as I love my character and the story, I don't think I'll ever continue this one. I will probably reuse the title for something someday, because it's maybe the best one I've ever come up with.

The Third Team
I adore this story. I started it forever ago, reworked the whole thing a few years later, then stopped writing it when I entered I prolonged period of writer's block. This is the only story of mine that doesn't include an original main character, because some of the characters like Argent, Herald and Jericho had so little told about them on the show that they felt almost original; certainly untapped in terms of potential. If I can find time to write during my busy schedule, I would love to continue this one. I'd like the rework all of the chapters a little (they need grammatical work, mostly) and then continue on. I have at least thirty to fifty thousand words of material lined up for what happens next and I know it would ultimately be much longer than that. If I could get to place where I could update it say, once a week, that might just work for me. As much as I like this story and characters and as popular as it was, it would be a shame to never do anything with it. I think this is right above Huntress as the story I'm most likely to continue in the future. If I get more feedback from readers who would read it if I did continue it, I'll definitely take that into account.

Year Zero
The first three Maximum Ride books were kind of fun. A lot of fun, actually. They were childish and a little immature, sure, but I really liked the concept and most of the characters didn't woefully irritate me. So, I created a character that, for me, solved some of the juvenile issues of the canon story and provided a little bit of grit and edginess that I wanted so desperately for the story to have. Then the fourth Maximum Ride book came out and the series quickly devolved into utter ineptitude and awfulness. It was so bad that I actually entirely fell out of love with the whole series and that was the primary reason I stopped writing this story. I don't think I'll ever continue it, as much as I liked Brium (even though I didn't give him enough depth) and his arc. I did just do some modifying on the chapters and that made it so the story thinks it got updated. It hasn't been updated at all in eight or nine years.

As for any future stories, I have one that I'm thinking about for RWBY; I have a great character and ideas for it, but that may wait another season or two of the show, so I can see what happens. Also, I may find inspiration to write another zombie story in either Dawn of the Dead or The Walking Dead. I also have an idea for another Arpeggio of Blue Steel story that centers around Haruna. That one would likely be either one or a series of one shots.

And finally, just in case:
