Author has written 5 stories for Harry Potter. Hey guys...so yeah, I haven't really written much recently, have I? hah, I've become one of those writers I hated and didn't understand; "WHY! can't they just frikin finish what they started!" heh...so yeah. I'm trying that finishing thing. But I'm not making any promises! I've got school and a job that takes up all of my time, but I'll do what I can. I enjoy writing now and then, it's a good way to relax. Right now I'm working on a new story, which is yet unnamed. I've written most of the first chapter, which clocks in at 11,684 words and isn't finished yet. (Almost a quarter of my biggest story and it's just one chapter!!) The story was meant to be a Harry/Ginny romance, but is turning into a Horcrux hunt too...Which means that although I've got the romance plotted, the rest of the story isn't really planned. I'm not sure if I'll post the first chapter once it's finished, because I don't want to keep you all waiting for the next installment, rather, I may wait until I've got more written. But soon the holidays will be over and I'll be back to school...and I don't know how much time I'll have to write...Anyway, so far it's going along smashingly :) If you're interested in Betaing for me, drop me an email... -- (Ok so obviously I finished my chapter and posted my story...please review and let me know what you think!!! :-D) Also I just changed my pen name...it's my screen name and it has a history ;) I feel more connected with it than forgetyourwatch. Hope no one cares :) A bit about me? Well, my name is Zoë, and I'm 18 and from San Diego CA. Currently I'm a sophomore at the University of Findlay, Ohio, and majoring in Equine Riding and Training/Equine Business Management. I had the best and worst summer of my life this year, somehow all in one. I landed the best job any girl could ask for last summer, which will hopefully turn into my forever-job, but I also unexpectedly lost my father due to complications from a routine surgery. When he died I felt lucky because at least we left on a good note...there was no unfinished business, we had no arguments...I knew he was so proud of me and loved me more than anyone does. And (sad to admit, but) honestly, although I know he'll miss his kids growing up and so many other things, I did think that it was so sad he'd never find out what happened to Harry in the end. Hehe, a true HP dork always... Zoë -I solemnly swear I am up to no good...- |
