![]() Author has written 5 stories for Dragon Ball Z. UPDATED 1/16/11 Mood: Annoyed It's been a long time since I've wandered around fanfiction.net. I have a lot of good memories here, and I learned a ton when it came to writing. I've gotten a lot of emails lately of some of the younger Generation DBZ fans favoriting my work. I'm 20 now...kinda shake my head at some of the CRAP I used to write, lol. Unfortunately, I don't have much taste for fanfiction anymore. I've pulled Roux and the Relins' story so far from Dragonball Z it doesn't even make sense to include Vegeta anymore. I'm working on the third overhaul of Toy Soldiers (now titled Inhumane), and I plan to try to get it published some day. I run a pretty successful RPG site that started under Barroes's plot, but that's moved on too. Understandably, I don't want anyone "stealing" my "original" ideas- that is, the Garthians, the plotline...ect. Not that it's great enough to be stolen, y'know. The characters are precious to me, and I'd like to see them grow in other ways. Unfortunately, they continue to grow outside the fandom, and becaues of that, I've decided to remove the fanfiction works that have anything to do with them. I'm also taking down "Mistletoe." ...I fucking hate that piece of fluff. I should have never written it, and it got far more recognition than anything I spent decent time on. The penname makes me laugh too. I really only go by DaGeneral or Gen these days. Really? THE GENERAL OF DARKNESS...I are scary. Silly young Gen. I had a good run here, and I met some amazing people who still occasionally cross my thoughts. LT, KingGolden...that's mainly you guys. I hope you're both doing well. TT and I are still in contact and play around on the forum together. Happy writing all. Gen's grown up a lot in the past two years. ;) One of my old buddies, and wanna get back in touch? Send me a PM, it should go straight to my email. One of my old lurkers that might enjoy reading my MUCH more polished style (holy shit, what I posted on here was...rough, looking back on it)? the only places I write online are occasionally DeviantART, and my precious sci-fi/fantasy forum, Aengels Eyrie. We're always looking for literate, creative members ;) Enjoy the remnants, youngsters, and keep the fandom alive. -Gen |
