Author has written 9 stories for Sailor Moon, Gundam Wing/AC, Ronin Warriors, Dragon Ball Z, and Inuyasha. So I've been here a few years. Suppose its time I updated this silly thing... Name: Phoenix Cubed Age: Well... Description: Chubby, blonde and ugly. Blue eyes are the devil, but I have the cutest smile. Really! Location: Somewhere between here and there but not quite anywhere. Good traits: ...heh. Bad traits: Limitless. UPDATE: 03-13-2015 Would anyone like a new story? First in a new series. Original fiction that is the product of all my years practicing with fan fiction: Demons are real and walk among us, the Irish mafia still believe in cement shoes, and our young hero has a secret so dangerous, even he isn't allowed to know to truth about himself. Roy has been a great deal of fun to write these last years; I hope you will enjoy meeting him! UPDATE: 08-30-2012 My my, but time does fly. Remember in Sister Act II, when Whoopi explains to the student that if you wake up in the morning and you want to be a painter, that makes you a painter? And if you want to be a writer, well then, you're a writer? It's been eleven years since I joined this site. I've called myself a "writer" for fifteen. This will be my seventh year of teaching. I am a teacher. I am a writer. Now, for some reason, I've gotten a lot of new reviews, new adding to favorites; new alerts that didn't exist years ago when I was active on this site. I felt it wasn't right to ignore the attention. It takes a good thought to review or note an author, and I wanted to return the good thought. Thank you, readers. You've made me smile after long days at work when I felt like a failure as a teacher and a writer. Does this mean I'm going to update again? ... Probably not. These are fanfictions. Someone else's story. Fanfiction.net is a good nest: a place for the idea of becoming a writer to hatch and be fed by a thousand other writers and readers and interactions. A place to fledge and fly when you're ready, even if it's only to the next tree. This is a great site. But it's based off of someone else's publications, and I'm not a child anymore to play dress up in my mother's closet. Yes, that's right. I've mothered my own original stories into fruition, and they'll be out soon and circulating in paperback and ebook. No, I won't tell you the title, or my author name; yes, I will be tickled pink if I ever see a fanfiction of my story on this site. Feel free to play with the clothes and look in the mirror and giggle--I certainly loved to. So my message to everyone here is this: your dream is possible. That secret, brilliant firefly nestled in the darkest, bloodiest recesses of your heart is a beautiful idea. Let it out. Let it play. Watch it grow into a fantastic, violent dragon that can't be stopped. Don't be afraid to be out there with your ideas, but darn well take criticism and learn from it. Edit. Release it again and take the next wave. I couldn't be where I am without it, and you will be better for it. You will find your dream on a shelf for all to enjoy. You, yes, you can do it. So do it. I wish you all the best. Keep reading, keep writing. Leave a review and say hi! And hello, students. Did you find me? Are you sure? PC |
