I suppose I should actually write something here...

I'm rather fond of the idea of remaining anonymous, so instead of a list of meaningless details about my personal life, I will give you this:

For my own entertainment I one day listed out the names of all the different vampire stories I was familiar with. I noted how in each story the vampires have different properties and decided that they were all separate species. I decided to make up scientific names for them. Some are even Latin :P

Anne Rice, Vampirius miserabilis - "Miserable Vampire," Named for their tendency to mope for years and years about things they cannot change.

Twilight, Vampirius scintillus - "Sparkling Vampire" Named for their ability to sparkle and glitter in the sunlight as well as their ability to attract flocks of teenage girls.

True Blood, Vampirius anguidentus - "Snake-toothed Vampire" Named for the frontal placement of their fangs, reminiscent of a snake

Vampire Diaries, Vampirius suadus - "Persuasive Vampire" Named for their tendency to turn to compulsion to solve all their problems

Buffy, Vampirius frontonis - "Large Forehead Vampire" Named for their distinctive forhead which bulges forward when in vampire form

Anita Blake, Vampirius odiosus - "Annoying Vampire" Named due to habit of bothering everybody they come across, especially those that want to kill them.

Sunshine, Vampirius funginus - "Mushroom Vampire" Named for the old mushroom skin they get after being starved.

Blade, Vampirius seminecis - "Half-Dead Vampire" Named due to being half human, half vampire. Doesn't get along with vampire counterparts.

Vampire Hunter D, Vampirius adonis - "Beautiful Vampire" Named for the way they make women (and some men) swoon.

Vampire Knight, Vampirius incestus - "Incest Vampire" Named for tendency to mate with the closest relation they can find.

The Vampire genus is quite diverse and due to the secretive nature of these creatures, there may be new species that haven't yet been discovered. We will keep you updated as we conduct our research.
