Hey, I am the informedterran!

You can just call me IT for short. I know how to fix computers and all, but don't ask for help, I'm not your IT, lol.

A little about me... I am a university student. Computer Engineering Major actually, but I enjoy reading and writing stories in my spare time.

I enjoy reading science fiction novels and alternate history novels. Forever shall it be amazing that we always try to turn our imagination into reality. As for history, I was a real history buff in high school. Reading and thinking of history is important. If there is one thing History loves to do, it is repeating itself in the most ironic of ways. I worry sometimes, but this isn't the place for that. Happy Thoughts!

My favorite video games include Fallout, Civilization, Mass Effect, Metro, and Galactic Civilizations. Admittedly, I just haven't had time to play games recently so these are the ones I try to stay up-to-date in. There are many more I could list that I enjoy and certain ones you may not have heard of that I recommend you play.

I'm a big fan of Star Trek. Voyager was my favorite (after season 2), and I actually enjoyed Enterprise. What? It was getting good when they canceled it. Got to love the mirror episodes. But that's my opinion. If I knew of fan fiction when I was a kid, I would have written plenty of Star Trek ones by now.

I started reading fanfiction in January of 2015, after discovering TV Trope. Never has the term "TV Tropes Will Ruin Your Life" ever apply so much; look it up, you have been warned. I enjoyed reading my first one and from there read several others, even from other websites. They were all Mass Effect, which I enjoy very much. I plan to read more but still need to find the time.

For now, I have began uploading my first major fanfic for Mass Effect. The Terran Gambit! A long, multi-chapter AU of humanity's struggle to try and secretly ready the galaxy against the coming of the Reapers!

I also have plans for some other fics, including my next project, The Synthetic Storm, and my new side story, The Misadventures of Kal and Jacob. I hope you enjoy them also.

I say this quote from Dylan Thomas gives a good insight into the Terran Gambit. Hope to see you there!

"Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night"
