Post BOTFA. Tauriel is banished, Legolas stays away by choice. Both Elves have much to learn before either has a chance at a happy ending, but they will find many willing to help them on their journey. My take on Legolas/Tauriel. Some parts will be sad. Story spans from immediately after BOTFA all the way through Lord of the Rings trilogy and beyond.

Bilbo Baggins had found Kili tolerable at best, and absolutely unbearable at worst. However, in the darkest of times an encounter with the dwarf prince in the throne room of Erebor will change everything.

The battle for the Lonely Mountain is over and Bilbo has returned to the Shire, Bilbo had done his best to accept what happened in the past and it trying to move on. But when a situation comes up Bilbo is reminded of a certain King and two brothers, Bilbo now has to deal with the pain all over again.(SPOILERS) One-Shot.

Picking up where the Battle of the Five Armies left off, this story follows Tauriel as she walks the path of loving and losing, and the dark eventuality of continuing on alone. For her story does not end with the credits.

This is set between when Thorin headbutts Kili affectionately and when they charge out of the Lonely Mountain to join the fray. The main reason why I wrote this is because Fili had so little screen time in Battle of the Five Armies. Also, I've never really written from Fili's POV before so this was my attempt at it. There are some lines from the film. I hope you like it!

I accidentally stumbled upon a picture about Fíli and Kíli in Deviantart and then, in hours after that, this story just sort of wrote itself. So here it is; my version of what happened after one of the Company's ponies bolted into the river.

A short, one shot of how I think that last scene in BOFA should have played out. Thranduil tries to make Legolas stay after the Battle of Five Armies.

Bilbo Baggins left Frodo behind on their birthday to leave for another adventure he had no intention of returning from. Bilbo reaches Erebor and returns to Rivendell where Frodo finds him after he gets wounded by the Morgul blade. I't kinda a headcanon, since you can't convince me that Bilbo sat in Rivendell and wrote poetry for almost twenty years. Could be slash if you want.

A part of the book that had not even a small paragraph to itself. So I took the liberty of giving it a story of its own. If you don't want spoilers for the book, just read up to page 33 and you'll be good.

Death. The entire field reeked of it. It's stench carrying over everything and everyone. Many unfortunate souls still lay upon the battlefield, badly wounded and all crying for aid. Most would never be leaving this place whole if at all.

What was really going through Thorins mind when he left Kili in Laketown.

An injury to Legolas at Ravenhill results in more father-son interaction than the movie was willing to grant. AU for the end of BoFA, just a oneshot. Enjoy!

[SPOILER WARNING] Tauriel would have assumed the last thing Kili wanted to see would have been his brother Fili, Thorin, or even Erebor or even his mother. No, the sight he wanted was her. The words brought a rush of affection that faded as quick as it took Tauriel to remember Kili was not going to be leaving this mountain alive.

How many times had he wanted to say those specific words to her? "Le melin, Tauriel." Legolas' knew however, that he could never say those words to her. As he held in his arms as she died, Legolas willed himself to live. As she would want him to.

I couldn't believe that the BoFA movie didn't touch on the ultimate fate of Erebor's treasure, particularly the Arkenstone and the necklace that Thranduil desired. Perhaps one day the Extended Version will shed some light on these things, but for now, here's my own attempt to do so. Combination of book and movie verse, focuses mainly on Bilbo and Thranduil. After Thorin declares war over the treasure of the Lonely Mountain, Bilbo attempts to make a more peaceful resolve with Bard and the elves. However; Thranduil is mistrustful. (My version of a scene that should have been in the THtBoFA trailer, but wasn't. That I hope will be in the movie.)

Thorin and Balin watch as Fili and Kili have a sparring match. A question from Balin triggers a flashback and an answer that comes too easy for Thorin.

A couple of missing scenes from when the company was in Mirkwood and were attacked by the spiders.

Bard's daughters Sigrid and Tilda look on as Oin, Bofur and Fili try to care for a wounded Kili. Not knowing what else to do, little Tilda offers some comfort to Kili, and Fili and Sigrid share an 'older-siblings' moment. From the Desolation of Smaug, Hobbit Trilogy.

If only things were different...

A lone figure has made its way into the ruins of Lake-town after the Battle of the Five Armies, standing quietly before the corpse of the dragon that had set fire upon the heavens.

The original ending I had planned for my Hobbit fic 'Auburn Fire' before my best friend ordered me to change it. You'll see why. Rated M like 'Auburn Fire' just to be on the safe side because it's a wee bit gross. Kiliel and angsty. Might want to read 'Auburn Fire' first but it does sort of work as a standalone one shot.

In the middle of the great battle, the line of Durin was broken. It was not broken easily, but it was broken nonetheless. Fíli had failed. Thorin had fallen and he had been unable to protect him. He had been unable to protect his mind from the gold sickness and he had been unable to protect his body from the fury of Bolg and his guards.

Fili stands tall before his king in the grand halls of Erebor, resplendent in gold and silver and precious gems, and wonders whether it was worth it after all.

In the midst of peril, the dwarves discuss the odd little wizard and try to figure out what's on his face.

Sequel to 'Lords and Ladies.' Sigrid - the eldest child of Bard, Lord of Dale - has been fighting off marriage proposals for months. Then one day an unexpected suitor comes to the door...

I sunk down on my knees. „Tauriel", I whispered and brushed away a strand of her hair. „Mankoi?"

"What is this? Your brother?" "That is my wife." - Glóin is thoroughly scandalised when that tree-loving Elf likens the image of his wife to his brother. Óin is not amused, either. The Company thinks it's hilarious.

Legolas and Tauriel race to catch up to the marauding orcs, but Legolas' mind is on other things...like how he feels about Tauriel.

Five times Kili and Tauriel were supported for the wrong reasons. And one time they were not. Movieverse, AU.

And suddenly there is something else, a warm sensation, a source of peace amidst the terror within. He must hold on to that, for if he loses it, he's lost. Kili and Tauriel and what might have happened after the credits. Now a multi-chapter story covering the time from Kili being healed to Smaug attacking Lake-Town. T for some dwarf-swearing.

It was his own fault that they now lay bathed in their own blood. The light that had once sparkled in their eyes had gone out. It was a sad day for Thorin, but also one of realisation. His pride and greed had caused this, and he would never be able to forgive himself.

A retelling of the events in Desolation of Smaug, from the perspective of Bard's eldest daughter, whom may or may not have a particular fondness for reckless, brawny, and wounded young dwarves. Why does King Thranduil imprison Thorin & Company in his dungeons? This story is told from the elves' point of view and seeks to provide the backstory to one of the more infamous decisions in "The Hobbit."

Though their true father was lost, Fili and Kili were never fatherless, for a father is someone you can look up to no matter how tall you get. Fili decides to forcibly braid Kili's hair (with the willing assistance of Bofur and Nori, of course).

A telling of the Battle of Five Armies from the POVs of Thorin and his nephews. It was one of the most beautiful nights that had ever been witnessed. The sky was a crisp, midnight blue and the moon shone brighter than ever, giving the cloud behind which it hid an enchanting silver glow. In some sense, it could be argued, it was a good night to die.

Kíli and Dwalin have an important quest of their own. (Movie backstory: What did Kíli and Dwalin talk about when Dwalin welcomed Kíli so heartwarmingly in Bilbo's hole and Kíli addressed him as 'Mister Dwalin' with a smile?)

Well, can you? Go on, tell us. We've spent ten minutes staring at this wretched leafy stuff, and we're all a bit fed up. A rather short fic about what the rest of The Company was doing while moon-letters were being read and oddly contrived coincidences were being noted. Because who'd care to hear about what Elrond and Thorin were arguing about when you could read a bit about us?
