Hey there readers!

So I'm not sure if some of you have noticed, but this account consists of lots of stories written in the one-shot format. The newest multi-chapter fanfic is I Get What I Want, and that hasn't been updated in a very long time (I didn't write that one, so please don't complain to me about the lack of updating! *glares at the author, sticks out tongue*). Anyway, I have a bit of an issue with the lack of multi-chapter fanfics. That could possibly be remedied soon. Every summer I tend to write a story that consists of several chapters due to the fact that I have free time and am bored quite frequently. I'm currently considering writing a Lizwin (Life With Derek pairing) that would be featured on both here and Fictionpress. Now you might be wondering how it'd end up on Fictionpress, as the site *technically* doesn't except fanfiction (though a crapload of it ends up there anyway). Well, the story I'm considering writing for the Lizwin pairing is based off of an original short story I had come up with a few years back. The story was about incest and stepcest (to a degree, at least), and contained a slight sidestory featuring two step-siblings named Aaron and Jordan that are in a secret relationship with one another. A bit of that idea was carried into my newest one-shot, The Jersey, as Edwin's personality is mirroring Aaron's and both boys play football. Jordan and Lizzie are both a bit alike in the story; Jordan's a bit more serious than she is, as well as conflicted. Anyhow, I wanted to further elaborate on the Aaron and Jordan sidestory by writing a novella-esque story. But here's my problem: I generally have a harder time writing original fiction than I do fanfiction (or, to be more correct, I generally have a harder time *wanting* to write it). Fanfiction has always come to me a whole lot easier. So I've decided to attempt to write out my story as a Lizwin and make the necessary changes to feature Aaron and Jordan and co. and then post that on Fictionpress. I know that it'll get more noticed here and I'll actually receive feedback, which I desperately need. So I'm just warning everyone now: should I do this story, tentatively titled All I Need, it would be fairly AU in setting, show canon, plot timeline, and characters (though not totally all over the place). However, this doesn't mean it'll be bad. There's still going to be a whole lot of Lizwin, and even some subtle Dasey (though no one's going to like what I do with that...). If a Life with Derek fan reads this before the story goes up, feel free to PM me and tell me what you think of the whole idea.
