KA-CHOW! *Smiles and waves* Hi, guys! Welcome to my profile! My name is Brittney, but I prefer being called Fudge. So, yeah, as my name suggests, I am absolutely CRAZY about the Cars/Planes movies. I love them as much as Guido and Luigi love Ferraris. xD. Some people say I'm obsessed and I can't say they're wrong! In a weird way, it's kinda like the characters are my friends and family (and while I have some pretty good friends, I find it hard to make them). I'm definitely the biggest Cars fan I know and one of the biggest in the world (I genuinely believe I am).

In my stories, humans and vehicles live in the same universe. I genuinely feel that this is the best way to include humans for two main reasons:

1. It has been argued that humans that fall into the world of living vehicles could never survive due to the exhaust fumes, which the vehicles are immune to. I can't say that I disagree with that. However, my logic is that if humans and vehicles always co-existed, then humans would have had to evolve to be immune to it as well.
2. Food, drinks and other essentials that humans require (such as clothes, hairbrushes and medicine) are easier to access.

That being said, that doesn't always mean that the species always get along. While I believe that they would generally co-exist well (after all, the vehicles wouldn't have to freak out over seeing a weird creature), there would be some tensions and things that go unspoken. For example, while my OC, Fudge, attends Lightning McQueen's races, there are some that believe that humans don't belong at a car race. Another thing is that, most of the time (though there are some exceptions like Doc in my fics), it's humans are medically treated by humans and vehicles are treated by vehicles. The way I imagine is that nobody says that it's right or wrong. That's just the way things are.

Another thing is I've wondered what the difference is between a doctor and a mechanic in the car world since in Cars, Doc is a doctor while Dottie in Planes and Smokey in Cars 3 are mechanics. I still don't know how that works in canon, but in my human and vehicle shared universe, I decided to make it that a mechanic works strictly with vehicles whereas a doctor works with either just humans or both.

Info on Fudge:

Species: Human

Birthday: June 16th (even though she's based on me, I gave her a different birthday to me because June 16th is National Fudge Day! Surprisingly, it has nothing to do with the release of Cars 3! XD)

Role: In my stories, humans and vehicles live in the same universe with some tensions, but they generally co-exist peacefully. Fudge was born and raised in Radiator Springs when her mother was found in labour just outside of town. However, her mother is running from the law, so she gave the townsfolk a fake name and abandoned her daughter hours after she was born. After that, Fudge stayed in town where she was adopted by Luigi and Guido, who had taken her in.

Appearance: Curly-ish, dark brown hair that comes just past her shoulders and is often messy and tangled, pale blue eyes that are almost grey with a small streak of brown in her right eye, short for her age (see the picture in the front cover bit for Cars Origins: The Sweet Life of Fudge to get a better idea or for older Fudge, the front cover of Driven to Win or Cars Origins: What the Fudge?).

My favourite things include the Cars movies franchise, writing stories and (of course) writing stories about the Cars movies franchise! This is why I love FanFiction. Being able to combine two of my biggest loves is just totally awesome! I write stories about the car-acters and my OC Fudge, the adopted daughter of Luigi and Guido, all the time. I like to read a wide range of things in terms of Cars fan fiction, but my favourite thing to read and write is fluffy, hurt/comfort family stories.

My Favourite Movies: Cars, Cars 2, Cars 3 (DUH! They're, like, the best movies EVER! I HATE it when people say Cars 2 is the worst Pixar movie ever made. Cuz they're WRONG!), Planes, Planes: Fire and Rescue, The Internship, Drillbit Taylor, Wonder (those last three also star Owen Wilson, the voice of Lightning McQueen). I like a lot of movies, but they're my absolute favourites! If I had to pick an absolute absolute all-time favourite, it would probably be Cars 3!

Ten Ways To Tell That I am a Cars fan:

1. I can not stop thinking about the movies and the car-acters.
2. I see the characters as my friends/family rather than just characters.
3. I take it as a personal insult when people insult the movies.
4. Pretty much everyone I know says they think of me when they see Cars-related stuff in the shops.
5. I have FOUR DVD copies of the first Cars movies. FOUR! (It was funny when my brother walked into my room one day and asked, "Why do you have two, no, three, no four?")
6. I get disappointed that there is very limited Cars clothing in my size.
7. I had a countdown to the release date for Cars 3 over a year before it was supposed to be released.
8. I want to go to Cars Land so bad and I hate the idea that I haven't been able to go.
9. But that's okay. My room pretty much is a Cars Land all of my own. I have so much Cars stuff in there, it looks that way.
10. I actually saw Cars 3 at the movies FIVE TIMES! That's right! FIVE! If that's not obsessed, then I don't know what is.

My Biggest Dreams: My two biggest life dreams are to become a published author and visiting Cars Land in Disneyland in California. I also dream of travelling the world, including going down Route 66 and on the Cars 2 trip (Japan, France, Italy and England)

My Writing Advice: When I first started writing on FFN, I didn't want to post my personal fics, fearing people would find them weird. I was just "playing it safe", but I didn't like the work I was producing. So, my advice is write for yourself first!

Unpopular Opinion

You know what I hate?

A lot of people love Pixar.

Yet a lot of Pixar fans hate Cars.

Despite that, Cars still has its fans.

But even so, a lot of Cars fans hate Cars 2.

Whenever I watch a YouTube video, discussing the Cars movies, I feel like a lot of people in the comments write things like, “Cars 2 was s*t!” and Cars 3 barely references it because “even Pixar knows they f*ked up with Cars 2″ and I can’t help but think, “Was I the ONLY one who liked it?” I’ll admit, I know it wasn’t exactly the sequel people would have expected, but despite that, I still enjoy it and accept it as canon, NOT ONE OF MATER’S TALL TALES!

Four invites Three and Eight to dinner at their own house. What happens? Sally’s having a blue car night with Ramone and The King (Ramone was painted blue at the time). The meal goes smoothly until Doc and Guido rock up, angry because they weren’t invited to blue car night.

You need to stay at a friend's house for a night. Whose house, One or Six? Since I have no idea what a spy like Finn could keep in their house, I think I’d be much safer at Doc’s place.

Two and Seven are making out when Ten walks in. Ten's reaction? Lightning, Sally, Flo and Ramone are participating in a partner swap, which was why Flo and Lightning were making out. Chick’s a little confused, but doesn’t really care.

Three falls in love with Six. Eight is jealous. What happens? Ramone falls in love with Doc? Okay... The King is jealous because Doc was his inspiration. Doc doesn’t feel that way about Ramone, though, so The King can breath easier.

One decides to start a cooking show. Fifteen minutes later, what happens? Finn’s angry that the food won’t cook, so he uses a flamethrower, which burns it.

Four jumps you in a dark alleyway. Who rescues you, two, ten or seven? Lightning. He just starts making out with Sally and she forgets all about me.

Three has to marry either Eight, Four or Nine. Who do they choose? Well, not The King (he’s still holding a grudge over the jealousy) Maybe Sally. The partner swap was an enjoyable experience for Ramone.

Seven kidnaps Two and demands something from Five for Two's release. What is it? Flo wants Holley to come and have a girls’ night in exchange for Lightning's release.

Everyone gangs up on Three. Does Three stand a chance? Possibly. Ramone has spray paint and a blow torch and he’s not afraid to use ’em.

Everyone is invited to Two and Seven's wedding except for Eight. How does Eight react? The King’s a little hurt, but it’s just as well. Doc and Ramone are gonna be there.

Why is Six afraid of Seven? Doc’s afraid of Flo because she accidentally gave him food poisoning one time.

Nine arrives late for Two and Seven's wedding. What happens and why were they late? Mater was late because he was tractor tipping and lost track of time. He tries to rock up and act like nothing ever happened, but a stampede ruins the wedding.

Five and Nine get drunk and end up at your house. What happens? Holley tries to electrocute me and Mater uses his karate moves on me, but they’re both so drunk, they’ve got lousy aim. I slam the door on them.

Six and One are in mortal danger. Does Six save One or themselves? Neither. Both Doc and Finn are stubborn old men, so Doc won't save himself, but Finn won't let Doc save him either. They both die.

Eight and Three go camping. But they forget food. What do they do? They’re still fighting over Doc, so they each decide the other one can starve to death.

Five is in a car crash and is critically injured. What does Nine do? Mater stays by her side and does everything he can to take care of her.

Five is pregnant with 12's baby. How does 10 react? Guido and Holley are having a baby? Chick still doesn’t care...

1 walked in on you while you were showering. What is your reaction? I’m embarrassed and I also think a true spy is prepared for any situation. Still, I don’t think Finn was prepared for that!

7 cooked you dinner. Thanks, Flo! It’s delicious!

4 and 5 are having an argument. Why is this? Lightning and Mater are arguing. You’d think Sally sees Lightning’s side and Holley sees Mater’s. Nope. Sally sees Mater’s and Holley sees Lightning’s.

6 is extremely ticked off about something, why is this? And what will you do? Doc’s mad? Then it’s probably something Lightning did. I’ll just leave him till he calms down.

3 told you they will soon be married to 2. What is your reaction? Wait. Has the partner swap gone the other way now?

You are about to do something that will make you feel very embarrassed. Will 9 comfort you? Mater’s goofy nature reminds me there’s nothing to be embarrassed about. Heck, he’ll do it with me.

8 confessed to be part of your family. I’m related to The King? Cool! I’m royalty!

6 kidnapped you, why is this? Doc kidnapped me because I know some of the embarrassing stuff he did a cocky young racer (thanks, Smokey!) and I was on my way to tell Lightning.

7 is having relationship problems, 4 tries to help her but isn't helpful. Your thoughts on this predicament? Sally’s just trying to help Flo. She’s seen it all with Lightning.

5 gave you a teddy bear. Aw, thanks, Holley! Wait! There isn’t a hidden camera in here, is there?

9 and 1 accidentally get hooked up on a dating website and are forced to go on a date together. Finn and Mater are slightly surprised, but they end up having a nice dinner as friends and at the end of it, they each feel like they know the other one a lot better.

11 gets angry and starts cussing at 15 very loudly, 14 is watching and is interested... but why is this? Smokey is interested because he’s never heard Cruz curse like that.

5 wakes you up in the middle of the night. Oh, noes! If Holley is waking me up in the middle of the night, it must be an emergency!

You and 10 go out for a picnic. Everything is peaceful until 2 crashes it by showing up and inviting you to go hang out at a café. Would you go with 2 or stay with 10? Later, Chick!

2 writes you a love song, plays it for you, then kisses you on the cheek. I’m excited that Lightning McQueen feels that way about me, but what about Sally?

1 asks to talk to you privately. When you are both alone he admits to you he is gay. I’m surprised. Not that Finn’s gay, but that he would even consider having a relationship with someone or something besides his job.

All the listed characters get into a very epic and all-out battle. Who will be the last one standing? Doc. Yes. He even beats Finn.

1 decides to man up and propose to 7. Your reaction? So, now Finn’s involved in the partner swap! Gah! This is too confusing!

10 listens to country music for the first time. Their reaction to it? Chick hates it; it reminds him too much of Radiator Springs

11 wants to go on a date with 15. How does 15 react? Francesco is not surprised. The ladies always want to go on a date with Francesco. He accepts, but afterwards, they realised that they just don’t... like each other that way.

12 decides to go on a picnic with 13. Guido and Luigi? Just two best friends going on a picnic. There’s Italian food, only. If you don’t like any of that, you’re out of luck. (Luckily, of course they both do.)

3 decides they've had enough, and enters a fashion show. How does he/she do?! Ramone brings the house down with his original designs.

9 decides to go skydiving. His reaction? Mater loves it! He wants to do it again!

16 is crying uncontrollably, and leaps into 14's arms for comfort. How does 14 react? Well, for starters, Smokey doesn’t have arms. He is surprised to see Fudge crying and even more surprised that she had gone to him for comfort. After he recovers, he doesn’t so much comfort her, but sets her straight in that blunt Thomasville way. Fudge never goes to Smokey for a sympathetic ear again.

2 decides to give everyone a good ol' slap in the face. I can imagine that. However, Doc gives him a harder slap back. Lightning wonders how he ever dared to slap Doc.

It’s Eleven’s birthday! Eight forgets to get them a present. What happens? Cruz forgives The King. He’s old. Memory’s probably not what it used to be.

Did Eight and Three survive their camping trip? Just barely. They had no food and then they were chased by wolves. Everyone held a search party to find them and they were found barely conscious in the middle of the woods and were taken to hospital where they were treated.

Fifteen has to go away for a long time. How does Twelve react? Guido won’t miss Francesco. He’s just jealous because Francesco’s going back to Italy.

Fourteen and Sixteen are stuck next to each other on a plane for a really long flight. What happens? Neither Fudge nor Smokey really mind. They’re not exactly the best of friends, but they get along rather well. Fudge spends a large portion of the flight staring out the window, daydreaming, but also takes the opportunity to ask Smokey to tell her some funny stories about Doc (which he does).

Two has an embarrassing photo of Thirteen. What do they do with it? Lightning blackmails Luigi, threatening to post it on the Internet if he doesn’t get his tyres for free.

Ten challenges Fifteen to a dance off. Who wins? Chick cheats by knocking into Francesco. Chick is disqualified. Francesco wins.

Twelve, Three and Four have gotten jobs on a movie set. What are they doing? Guido is a forklift of many talents. He’s the lead. Ramone is the head of scenery. Sally is the director (she has experience, directing customer rehearsals in Radiator Springs!)

Ten and One have to work together as a team on a game show. How do they go? Chick doesn’t believe Finn knows anything, so he goes against him in all of the answers and gets them all wrong. They lose. Bad.

Six is forced to kill either Eight or Eleven. Who do they choose? Doc’s still creeped out at how jealous The King got when Ramone declared his love, so he goes for The King.

It’s a rainy day. Thirteen is kinda bored, so they call up Fourteen and invite them over. What do they end up doing? Luigi’s bored because Casa Della Tires is closed that day and Guido and Fudge are out having some father-daughter time. He invites Smokey over to talk about racing. When Smokey talks about how great racing was “back in the day”, Luigi puts on a Ferrari race. The two end up arguing over which is better.

Five is giving birth to Twelve’s baby. What does Twelve do? Guido, as previously stated, is a forklift of many talents. He’s able to remain calm and assist the doctor in the delivery of his second baby girl. (He also has to comfort his first daughter, Fudge, who thinks she’s being replaced.)

Two is dying. Who do they leave their possessions to? Nine or Fourteen? Lightning’s torn. He hasn’t known Smokey for very long, but feels close to Doc when he’s around him, but Mater’s his best friend. In the end, he chooses Mater mainly because he’s afraid of what Mater will do to his corpse if he doesn’t.

Thirteen and Ten are both running for President. Who wins? Well, technically, Luigi can’t be President because he’s not American, but Chick is so unpopular that an exception is made just to keep him out.

Eight, Four, Nine and Eleven decide to start a band. What happens? The King thought music would make his retirement more relaxing and interesting. Sally and Mater argue over which one of them should be the lead singer. Cruz unintentionally skips a lot of rehearsals because it’s interfering with her racing.

Sixteen and One are stuck in an elevator together. What happens? Fudge panics, but Finn is able to use his gadgets to get them free in no time. Fudge is embarrassed that she forgot who she was trapped with.

Thirteen has won the trip of a lifetime for two. Both Five and Eight want to go. Who do they choose? Luigi chooses Holley. He feels she’d be a better travel companion.

How did Fifteen and Sixteen meet? Fudge and Francesco met at the World Grand Prix opening party in Tokyo when Fudge photo-bombed the picture Mater and Francesco got together. (See my story, When Life Gives You Lemons)

The quiz is over. By the way, how did Two and Seven end up? Lightning and Flo both decide to remain loyal to their original partners (and the good news for The King is, now Doc might be interested!)

26 Crazy things to do in an elevator:

1) CRACK open your briefcase or handbag, peer Inside and ask "Got enough air in there?"

2) STAND silent and motionless in the corner facing the wall without getting off.

3) WHEN arriving at your floor, grunt and strain to yank the doors open, then act as if you're embarrassed when they open themselves.

4) GREET everyone with a warm handshake and ask him or her to call you Admiral.

5) MEOW occasionally.

6) STARE At another passenger for a while. Then announce in horror: "You're one of THEM" - and back away slowly

7) SAY -DING at each floor.

8) SAY "I wonder what all these do?" And push all the red buttons.

9) MAKE explosion noises when anyone presses a button.

10) STARE, grinning at another passenger for a while, then announce: "I have new socks on."

11) WHEN the elevator is silent, look around and ask: "Is that your beeper?"

12) TRY to make personal calls on the emergency phone.

13) DRAW a little square on the floor with chalk and announce to the other passengers: "This is my personal space."

14) WHEN there's only one other person in the elevator, tap them on the shoulder, then pretend it wasn't you.

I have a new collection of short stories called Our Town: Tales from Radiator Springs too. However, there are not in chronological order due to getting different ideas at different times. I really hope you enjoy those. Updates may be slow, however, due to lack of ideas and focusing on other work.

Due to a conflicting timeline with my story, Ride, I have decided to make Vacation Crashers AU. However, considering that Vacation Crashers is one of my most popular stories, I have decided to leave it up in order for everyone to still enjoy.

Cruz to Victory: "Hi! I'm Cruz Ramirez! You might know me as one half of Dinoco's Dynamic Duo... How did I come from nowhere in the Florida 500 to become a racer? How did I get the great Lightning McQueen as my crew chief and the awesome Fudge Rossi-Topolino as my racing partner? Gosh, sometimes, I still wonder that myself. Maybe I should start from the beginning..." Status: To be written.

Other Important Information:

1. I do not have official update days because I don't want to make promises I might not be able to keep. I just do it whenever I have the time, have the ideas and feel like updating.

2. I do NOT kill off canon protagonists. Occasionally, I might kill off canon antagonists or OCs, but never canon characters you love (I mean, I've written about Doc's death, but he died in canon, so technically, I didn't kill him off; Pixar did). Also, I am NEVER going to kill off Fudge. For me personally, that would be just as bad as killing off Lightning McQueen or someone like that (don't know how you guys feel about her, though).

3. I do not write humanized Cars fics. I don't have a problem with other people doing it (I have read quite a few really good humanized ones), but to me, it just seems kinda weird. Like it's the characters, but at the same time, it's not. Know what I mean? Besides, I feel like it's being overused now. In fact, it's gotten to the point where I'll start reading a fic, assuming that it's humanised when, in fact, it's not. They were originally made cars and so, I am going to keep them that way. Even so, I am curious as to what the characters would look like as humans (am I the only one who pictures humanised Sally as a brunette rather than a blonde?)

4. Furthermore, to prevent things from getting too complicated, I'm just gonna say cars are born. It kinda annoys me when the whole "built" thing is taken really literally. I don't really like the idea because, to me, it makes it seem more like robots than living creatures with thoughts and feelings and all that. In my stories, since it says "built" in Planes, that's just a metaphorical thing. Besides, while the people who say they're built do make good arguments, I have no idea how twins (Mia and Tia, Ned and Zed) could be a thing in the vehicle world if they're built rather than born. I'm not exactly sure whether I believe they are born or built (I have no idea how they'd be born, but, like I said, I don't really like the idea of them being built either), but saying born will just make it easer for me. Not that I'll ever go into much detail with that kinda stuff, but if it ever comes up...

5. Another thing I will never go into much detail with is car anatomy and real technical stuff with their racing and stuff (I'm a total dunce when it comes to this stuff, I don't even know how to word what I wanna say xD).

6. Also, for things like hugging and picking things up, I really don't wanna overthink it. After all, how would cars be able to accomplish anything if they couldn't pick things up?

7. It's also not very likely that I will do a story without my OC Fudge in it either. I've never written a story without her in it, so to me, it just wouldn't feel the same. So, if you're one of those people who hate human-in-the-car-world stories, *shrugs* I'm sorry, but you ain't gonna find anything you'll like here. It's okay if you don't like that kind of stuff, but I do and I have a right to write those stories. I can do what I want (as long as I don't offend anybody, of course).

Rules for Reviews and PMs.

I can't tell you how much I love getting reviews and PMs. I just have some rules that I want everyone to respect and follow. I feel like most of them are quite self-explanatory, but I'll still go through them.

1. Really, the only reviews I accept are praise, constructive criticism and reasonable questions (like if something doesn't make sense or you wanna find out more about anything). I don't mind you talking about other stuff within a review and getting a little bit off topic as long as you include some of the other stuff mentioned above, but if you wanna talk about other random things more, please PM me. Reviews are not the space for random topics.
2. If you have questions, I'd prefer if you didn't do it in a guest review since that makes it harder to answer them. I don't wanna discourage guests from reviewing, but an account is preferable for asking questions.
3. I'd prefer if you didn't just write, "Nice story", or ,"Good work", or anything like that. As much as I appreciate it, I'd prefer it if you gave me some specifics. That way, I know what people like and perhaps where I need some improvement.
4. Please be respectful. No flames whatsoever. I understand that not everyone's exactly gonna love my work, but I still don't wanna hear things like, "This is crap" (Not that I have, but I don't want to). I've also had reviewers comparing me to other writers (you know who you are), which I absolutely DO NOT tolerate or appreciate. Maybe I'm not as talented as some people on this site, but I feel I fail to live up to expectations as it is. So, please don't make me feel that way more than I already do. Helping me become a better writer is one thing, but deliberately trying to put me down is something else. I am a pretty sensitive person, so even with constructive criticism, please just think about how you phrase it. Bear in mind I can't hear your tone or tell what you really feel with written words on a computer screen. Thank you.
5. Please be respectful of my beliefs and opinions. I know not everyone is going to share my beliefs and opinions (such as shippings, Cars 2 being a good movie, me having a human in the car world, or even just having an OC), but I respect other people's beliefs and opinions, even if I don't agree with them. All I ask is that you respect mine. That means, not insulting them or trying to get me to change them. I would never do that to you, so please don't do it to me.
6. No stupid PMs. I think you all know what's reasonable and what's not. All stupid PMs will be ignored and deleted.
7. Going on from that, I do NOT role play. It is not something I am interested in. Thank you.

9. Please review if you wanna see my stories continued. Reviews are my Cruz Ramirez. They are what motivate me and tell me that people like reading my work. I have discontinued stories in the past and considered doing the same to others due to lack of reviews. I'd hate to do that if you guys are enjoying them, so if you are enjoying them, PLEASE let me know, so I can keep writing and posting. Update as of 25th November 2019: From now, a chapter must receive at least two reviews from two different people in order for me to continue a story.

11. Update as of 20th July 2020: No stealing my ideas or OCs. Using my OCs is okay if you ask me beforehand (I'll most likely say yes), but ask first and give me credit. I'm flattered if I inspire you to write your own fics and don't have a problem with that, but please remember that inspiration is one thing; flat-out copying is something else. There is a line. DO NOT CROSS IT!
12. Wherever possible, I will try and PM all reviewers to thank them personally, but in case I miss you, I'll just say thanks now. I really appreciate PMs. It just makes my day! Even if you never review, favourite or follow anything, but always come back and read whatever it is I write, you are awesome! *Gives out hugs and high fives to everyone reading my work*
