It’s always nice to see a new story for Cars. I loved the idea and you did an awesome job!

The "what might have been" or the realizing you might have missed your chance with a relationship is one of my favorite kinds of relationships to explore, and Doc's feeling around what he'd left behind with Smokey definitely fits that bill. Just let sleeping dogs lie, as it were. But what's so expressed so well here is the fact that "let sleeping dogs lie" is pretty much the exact opposite of every bolt in Lightning's body, so of course he'd be the unwitting catalyst for the start of the letters-in more ways than one. Love it!
