![]() Author has written 15 stories for Death Note, Hetalia - Axis Powers, and Hunger Games. Hello! Welcome to my profile! I'm Shadows in the Light of Day, but please call me Shadow! Well, as that little thing at the top of my profile has likely informed you, I've written fanfiction for both Death Note and Hetalia, although I currently only have Hetalia fics in progress. A bit about me: I'm sixteen years old, and I live somewhere in the United States of America. I love to write (you could have guessed that, couldn't you? ;)), especially horror/dystopia stories. I absolutely love watching anime and reading manga, and I love to read real books too, occasionally! :) I'm a bit socially awkward, but PM me, and I'll talk your ear off. I love to talk! Online, that is. (Currently, I'm hiding from my family so I don't have to socialize.) xD Also, I am a moderator on the Baltics forum, which sorely needs to be revived, so come over and check it out. :) A bit about my fics: Written in Blood: First of all, I lied. I've also written a little for The Hunger Games, but due to the fact that this fic is a crossover with Hetalia, I don't think of myself as a Hunger Games fanfic writer, exactly. I consider this to be my best story, but I'd only recommend it if you're prepared for torture scenes (and a lot of them). This story tends to shift its character focus a lot, but there are at least minor appearances from a lot of nations. I would call this a very different type of Hunger Games crossover fic, as it does not at all involve the games themselves. So, if you're up for a fic with Panem personified, please check this out! It would make me quite happy. Soviet Insanity series: All right, this is a series, so, naturally, there are multiple fics in it. Interference, Latvia's Absence, Insanity, and Web of Delusions comprise the main stories of this series, although the oneshot Why Does He Hurt Us? is considered part of the series, and technically serves as a fairly disconnected prequel, taking place in the same universe. In addition, After Insanity is a continuation/follow-up to the events of the series. Written in Blood takes place in the same universe, but it is not completely necessary to read this entire series to understand that fic. Getting back to Soviet Insanity itself, it's very Baltics-centric, particularly focusing on Estonia and Lithuania. (Latvia has more appearances as the plot progresses.) And, of course, there are a ton of appearances from Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine. I will warn you, though, the whole series is very violent, and, due to abusive scenery, could be rather triggering. I still consider it one of my better works, however. Invisible: One of my more recent projects is a human AU, which...basically has hints of several pairings and actual confirmation of very few. It deals with loneliness, suicide, self-harm, abuse...things like that. Ah, and it's about Estonia and Latvia again, with appearances from Lithuania and others. How shocking. Blink: I'm actually cowriting this with Hinotorihime, and it's also being uploaded on her AO3 account. It's a Wingtalia AU, featuring...Estonia and Latvia...and others. xD As Hinotorihime says, "It's a rather sprawling Wingtalia AU, that will hopefully be a lot of chapters! She gets to write torture and I get to worldbuild and everyone is happy. Except the characters. But no one cares about them." Other than that, I haven't written much of importance. My Death Note oneshots are all extremely old, and I wouldn't really recommend them, although I do think the ideas behind a couple of them are halfway decent. Chance Encounter isn't bad, exactly...just old. At any rate, I hope you enjoy my fics, if you decide to read any of them! :) So, yeah. I'm just gonna...awkwardly stop talking now. See you around! |
