| Kagimine chapter 1 . 11/8/2011 God, the parts with Romano accidentally messing up even though he actually tried so hard, and Spain constantly comparing him to North Italy (I'm saying NORTH Italy because Romano's and Italy too :(...) and saying how 'uncute' he is just breaks my heart. I was quietly crying during practially this entire fanfiction. Romano has to be my absolute favorite character in the show- he has such a multi-faceted personality (Even though Hetalia is such an amazing anime for having such diverse and realistic characters, with faults and charms and realistic troubles.). You captured his insecurities, lonliness, and almost desperate attempts to please Spain perfectly. The interactions were cute at some points, as well, but more often than not, I was furious at Spain for having such a negative opinion of Romano, and treating him so, even though I really can't blame him, even though I wish I could. I can't say it enough about how I ADORED Romano's character in this. Massive kudos to you for perfecting such a hard personality to write. |
