Lily Evans and James Potter started going out in seventh year, in the midst of the start of the wizarding war. This story follows them and their friends through their final year at Hogwarts as they form friendships and relationships to help them face the scary reality of the outside world. LE/JP and SB/MM

Point Coquille plays host to upper-class wizards every summer and with them, a society with its own complications. A stray dog, a family of uneasy Ravenclaws caught in the crossfire, a temperamental witch, and a community tearing at the seams of various ideologies.

It was no surprise that James Potter got on Lily Evans' nerves. He was arrogant, impulsive, obnoxious- absolutely everything that Lily refused to like. Lily was simple. James was complex. What they didn't know is that simplicity and complexity need each other and fate can work in mysterious ways to get two people, destined for each other, together.

You can't help who you fall in love with, they both knew that. Not that it comforted them any. Marlene didn't want to love Sirius (the arrogant douche); Sirius didn't want to fall for Marlene (bloody emotional bird) - fate, it seemed, decided differently. Sirius...Or Remus...Decide to lock Lily and James in a room in an attempt to finally bring them together. But, of course, the plan goes wrong and Lily, along with all of the marauders, all end up trapped. And then chaos ensues.
