So. It's been about a week and I still haven't recovered.

You gave all these characters the story they deserved. Marlene, Dorcas and especially Peter. Their development was perfect. I was in love with all of them and their deaths broke me. I love that Lily got friends who were as strong and interesting as her. I really loved Marlene.

I loved the little things like them dancing together often (which was hinted at movie in movie cannon with the photo), the pocket watch.

One thing I would have liked was a reason why Dorcas hated Emmelane. Even if it was tiny or petty. Maybe if it tied into her bogarts story.

The ending felt a little rushed, you skipped over a whole year, which I would have loved to have seen more from. Honestly I would have just loved more of the story. But, the fact that the story was completed gave me the closure I needed. It ended perfectly. Remus' last look at Harry, the letter.

I am actually destroyed when I think about the Marauders Era and how they all ended, but I like to think, even though they had a tragic end, theyre were just too happy to live happily ever after.

But in case I don't, thank you so much for sharing this. It was incredible. Honestly one of my favorite fics ever. And thank you for finishing it, although the ending is heartbreaking, I really feel like it's complete, and it gave me the closure I needed. I really feel like I know and understand the Marauders and the original Order now.

Why do I love Marlene and James friendship so much. I love James in this chapter. Also I love Marlene. Except for some reason I have a problem with the fact she's beautiful. The fact that her, Dorcas, Lily and (weeps) Mary are beautiful is a little too much. Like can we have one achievable realistic looking girl. But to be honest if she was average looking I'd have probably been annoyed by that too.

God this is heart wrenching. The last few chapters have been down right depressing, but it's not awful. I love your writing, tho in between there are some bits and pieces that I don't feel quite right but that's just me nitpicking. The songs and the bits of lyrics I find fitting. Tho subtle but they really helped set the theme for each chapter and elevated the story. I really love the characters and I think Peter Pettigrew had the backstory he deserved despite the lack of appearance in the last few chapters. I've gone through a handful of Marauders fanfic but not until the end that I realized this is the closure I've been looking for. Thank you for the story and those wonderful songs.
