Author has written 10 stories for Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Steven Universe, Hunger Games, Gravity Falls, and Misc. Comics.

HELLO and welcome to the profile of Our Mismatched Socks. This is a joint profile of Slabie, Banjo, and Liberac. These are not our real names. We are 3 young girls who are really good friends and have known each other for 4 or so years. We are new to this joint profile thing, and Banjo and Liberac are new to fanfiction altogether, so please be lenient with us. We love writing and also love the idea of writing together. Lots of our stories will be written by the three of us. Please enjoy our stories, we work hard on them.

Disclaimer to House of Hades:

To my wonderful readers: sorry about that last cliff-hanger.

Well, no, not really. HAHAHAHAHA!

But, seriously, I love you guys.

Line breaks are cool.

Slabie's Corner

Hi! Hello! Hola! Bonjour! 'Ello!

I am a girl who lives in the US. I love reading and writing poetry, and spending time with my friends, especially Banjo and Liberac. I am very enthusiastic about fanfiction. Yeah, I'm writing this the night we got this account. What can I say? I'm excited.

I love Percy Jackson and Harry Potter, and a lot of other books that aren't series. I really like anything weird or out of the ordinary, such as platypi, mismatched socks, and Luna Lovegood. I am entirely too obsessed with the art of sarcasm, and I also enjoy a good long rant. If I start one in an author's note, or on here, please feel free to ignore me. I am just letting off steam.

The sentence that changed my life- Mr. and Mrs. Dursley of number 4 Privet Drive, were perfectly normal, thank you very much.

I wholeheartedly promise never to flame a story. I will respect the phrase "Don't like, don't read" even when it is not written on the profile. Even if I am thoroughly disgusted by the lack of plot and grammar, I will simply find another story. What I would be insulting might be something someone, somewhere is really proud of, and I will not rain on their parade.

I am also known as TheWeirdestMuse (how do you do links on here?) If you're looking to see what's going to happen with that username, I don't publish things on there anymore, it's all on here. I'm keeping up my three Harry Potter fanfics- Not a Death Eater, 'Twas the Night Before Full Moon, and Nott to be Taken Seriously- for everyone's enjoyment. I still check out PM's from others on that account every so often, but not much. Also, I recently reread all the stuff I wrote back then, on that account, and I think it all sucks. I like to think I've gotten better over time, and my stuff on here is a lot better. Also, I'm not updating Not a Death Eater anymore. Period. Sorry.

Okay, here I originally had a list of pairings I love and hate, but it didn't exactly work out for me, so I'll say this- I SHIP EVERYTHING AND HAVE NO REGRETS. There, that should do it.

Percy Jackson Poem (not Percy Jackson Oath)

With you, we rode on Pegasi,

And fell, many times, from the sky,

And to old friends, we said goodbye

We worried for you, most every day,

We quoted funny things you'd say,

We were there, when you felt alone,

We were demigods, to the bone,

We laughed with you, cried with you,

We fought (and almost died) with you,

We stuck with you, till the very end

For you're our savior, and our friend

We bore your scars, we felt your pain,

We will miss you, Seaweed Brain

Banjo's Corner

Hello! My name is _ (My real name is not Banjo.), I live in , in _ on _. I have a , named _ and a , named _.

Yeah, sorry, I'm not allowed to release personal info. But I can say that my best friends are Slabie and Liberac.

I love the Harry Potter series, the Percy Jackson series, the Heroes of Olympus series, and Holes series, and Kate DiCammelo's work. My favorite characters are Luna Lovegood from HP, Rachael Elizabeth Dare from PJO, LEO VALDEZ!!!!! from HOO, Zero from Holes, and Adele from The Magician's Elephant by Kate DiCammelo.

I sincerely oath never to flame a story even if I don't like it.. I am a member of the so called, "Grammar Police" but I will try not to scold anyone. :P

I'm thoroughly interested in the following pairs:

Jason/Brick. Weird. I know. Yet interesting.

Annabeth/Tartarus. I thought of this one, so I'm not entirely certain it exists.

Leo/Anyone. I'm sorry. I couldn't help it.

Charon/Persephone. Does this exist? I hope it does.

Liberac's corner

Hello! Hello! Hello! Hello! Hello! Hello! and last but not least, hello!!!!

well, now that that's done, I can introduce myself. I'm Bob. liberac is just my spy name. no, not really. if you believed that then tsk tsk tsk. learn, people!

some of my favorite authors include Rick Riordan, J.K. Rowling, Wendy Mass, Liz Kessler, and many more that I cannot remember at the moment. my favorite books from those writers: house of hades by Rick Riordan, the goblet of fire by J.K. Rowling, the candymakers by Wendy Mass, a year without autumn by Liz Kessler, and a bunch of other random books by all of those authors that are not in my brain at the moment.

I will never, ever, flame a soul. I promise. just try to keep your grammar in check, all right? PLEEEEEEAAAAASSE????

Copy and Paste stuff we both like

The Stupidest Things On Product

On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert (printed on bottom): "Do not turn upside down." (Too late!)

On Marks & Spencer Bread Pudding: "Product will be hot after heating." (As night follows day . . .)

On packaging for a Rowenta iron: "Do not iron clothes on body." (But wouldn't this save me more time?)

On Boot's Children Cough Medicine: "Do not drive a car or operate machinery after taking this medication." (We could do a lot to reduce the rate of construction accidents if we could just get those 5-year-olds with head-colds off those forklifts.)

On Nytol Sleep Aid: "Warning: May cause drowsiness." (One would hope.)

On most brands of Christmas lights: "For indoor or outdoor use only." (As opposed to what?)

On a Japanese food processor: "Not to be used for the other use." (I gotta admit, I'm curious.)

On Sainsbury's peanuts: "Warning: contains nuts." (Talk about a news flash.)

On artificial bacon: "Real artificial bacon bits". (So we don't get fake fake bacon. Oh no we get real fake bacon.)

On an American Airlines packet of nuts:"Instructions: Open packet, eat nuts."(Wow. That's really helpful)

On a child's superman costume:"Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly". (Aw, that's the whole purpose of buying the costume!)

On a package of pasta after the cooking instructions:"Put on fork and eat."(No! Really? We're supposed to eat food!?)

On a bar of Palmolive soap: "Directions: Use like regular soap." (And that would be how?)

On some frozen dinners: "Serving suggestion: Defrost." (But, it's just a suggestion).

Say No to Prop 8!! (for those of you who dont' know it's against gay marriage)

1) Being gay is not natural. And real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning, tattoos, piercings and silicon breasts...

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay. In the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract. Lamps are next.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn’t changed at all; Hence why women are still property, blacks still can’t marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; And we can’t let the sanctity of Britney Spears’ 55-hour just-for-fun marriage be destroyed.

6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. So therefore, gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn’t be allowed to marry because our population isn’t out of control, our orphanages aren’t full yet, and the world needs more children.

7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, Since, of course, straight parents only raise straight children.

8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That’s why we have only one religion in America. (Did I miss the lesson where Jesus says He hates gays?)

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. Which is exactly why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven’t adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

Re-post this if you believe love makes a marriage.

(we did not copy and paste this)

Slabie has blonde hair. That doesn't automatically mean that she's dumb or giggly. It doesn't mean she's a bully or a snob. It doesn't mean she's shallow.

Banjo has red hair. This doesn't mean her temper matches it. She isn't necessarily an automatic leader OR a show off.

Liberac has dark hair. That doesn't mean she's shy and timid and never steps up or raises her hand for anything. It doesn't mean she lets herself get trampled over all the time or is automatically super smart. (no, she had to work for that one). It doesn't mean that she's sad and has a tragic backstory. In fact, her teacher has said many a time that she has come to school all sad and gloomy and Liberac has brightened her day.

We know several people with brown hair. They aren't dull, uninteresting people. They are funny, and yes, they do have a personality.

PLEASE STOP JUDGING PEOPLE BY THEIR HAIR COLOR! IT'S RIDICULOUS!
