Author has written 2 stories for Sherlock, and League of Gentlemen.

Reconvalescent writer. Truth be told, I usually hang out with my own characters. But after months of neglect, they seem to have grown somewhat out of proportion for my fingers. And this is the shortest possible answer to why I am here. I seek recovery by dancing with select geniuses and freaks of my favourite fandoms.

Sophisticated swooner. I seem to have a weakness for the utterly aesthetic and attractive. For instance, I am a naval (wench) geek and proud to be so. Nothing beats naval history, I'm sorry to say. Well, with the exception of early modern writing. Throwing modesty to the wind here: literature and history is the best. Especially the macabre and quirky bits and pieces.

I am prone to swooning, though it is mainly over treats unknown to those not of an anglophile caste (not being local, I am entitled to such a label). I am equally prone to use eufemisms to 'soften' certain linguistic dirt, all in the cause of fun for yours truly. You, dear reader(s), may expect stories with plenty of details and drama, featuring gentlemen and -women from various shelves in British culture.

Entusiastic reader. I love reading all you clever folks' wonderful fics. I may not be the right person to offer constructive criticism on them, seeing that my writing is more like knitting than the writing people love (quite a surprise that I'm published, aye?) but I have no issues proclaiming my entusiasm if I find something I like. If you find one of my reviews on one of your stories, just know that I thank you for a smashing read.

Fandoms to be honoured in due time: Sherlock, League of Gentlemen, I Claudius, Hornblower, Master and Commander, the George Smiley-series, Withnail & I, Blackadder, the Lucifer Box-trilogy, the Saint/the Persuaders

(But maybe I manage to escape to the realm of my novel before then - you never know! ;) )

The Umbrella Effect reviews
Myrene, S3-spoilerfree. To Irene Adler, there's no such thing as too much. To Mycroft Holmes, understatement is the sole indiscretion he allows him to indulge in. As Irene's name gets entangled with that of both prominent parties in a surprisingly tasteful and blunt love affair, she piques the interest of the premier Holmes-brother. Rated T for ambiguity, to be on the safe side.
