get them back together in the next update!! I love this story, u have to!!! Dec 1, 2013 I need help. What is the most deep, embarrassing, or terrible memory or secret can you think of? It doesn't have to be from your memory or secret. Message me back please :) Dec 1, 2013 Hola y Bienvenidos! I'm Syduction, (Storyandsongwriter101 came up with the name) previously known as PicklesPancakesPineapples and ILoveWriting1213. As you can tell by my stories, I absolutely love Austin & Ally. I also love the crime drama shows. Such a weird combination of things... You can follow me on Twitter at @Pickles_Pancake! Austin and Ally brought me to my literal best friend. We met by chance, fate even. On this very site over 2 years ago. I'm part of the Fanfic Squad. Also co-founder. I've always been into Austin and Ally since it came out, then I discovered R5, which brought me to Switched At Birth and later Glee. R5 Family for the win! Raura is my OTP. I can proudly say I voted for Riker as many times as the show allowed except for the first night. (I may or may not have confused the dates. Don't judge me.) Half of the songs I own are R5, Austin & Ally, or songs I found from Fanfiction stories or R5. I own a Rocky Hoodie and a gold R5 pick necklace that my best friend gave me for Christmas. I also have 3 aluminum pick necklaces I got off Etsy. One says SMILE, the other FEEL GOOD, and SOMETIME LAST NIGHT. I also own a sometime last night concert T-shirt and the Greek Theatre DVD. I don't know if I should call Ellington Ratliff, Ellington or Ratliff. (Please tell me I'm not the only one) I went to an R5 concert February 17, 2016. Almost cried, almost. Laura tweeted me back on May 16, 2016. Laura tweeted me back on August 24, 2016. If you have an hour or so to spare, ask me about R5 or Austin & Ally. I can blow that hour for you I'm the 1% in my age bracket that listens to Country music willingly and loves it. I'm pro-life. "What in the world? Travis, what are y'all doin' out here man?!" "Well what had happened was uh, K-Kenny lost a bet and got stuck in a tree." "Why you tryin' a jump a tree?" "Hey man, that's just how we roll." This Is How We Roll - Florida Georgia Line When I was typing the dates for the slogan Disney used, I had them memorized. I have like no life. I've never met my best friend. I MET MEGAN ON JULY 31ST 2016 AND WE HAD LUNCH AND WENT BOWLING AND IT WAS AMAZING!!!! I am seriously addicted to Youtube. I'm an easy crier as is, don't even get me started on what happens when it's that time of the month... Yes, I'm white. Yes, I love Starbucks. Yes, I love boots. Yes, I love yoga pants and leggings. Call me basic and I'll basically break your neck. I cried half the series finale. I will stalk your bio, Instagram, Twitter, whatever I can. Once again, no life. Tengo diezseis años. I am 16. Soy de Tennessee. I am from Tennessee. Soy en mi años diez de ecuela. I am in the 10th grade. Yo quiero comida. I love/want food. Yo soy muy tonta. I am very dumb. I mentioned that I did not like big words so my smart friend asked what DNA and RNA stand for. I said more big words and he said this. We worry about him. (Ethan) "She punched my boob and so I called her a hag and punched her in the boob too." No need for an explanation, Hailey is Hailey. (Hailey) I just realized I had made butterscotch pudding yesterday night and I still had a bowl in my room. I forgot to eat it. Also Hailey. No explanation for her stupidity. (Hailey) "Sydney...story of my life. I fell down three steps that are at my school in from of my crush. Lol, he was like, "You good?" I put my hands in the air "No one broke a neck today." Take a wild guess on this one. Think real hard. Real hard. Who is it? Well, if you guessed Hailey then you are correct! (Hailey) "I was at my friend's farm once and I was riding one of her cows lol. I thought I had it under control. A cow started mounting the cow that I'm on then it started running off and it ran into a barn. (I'm still on the cow) then it turned around and ran. I was about to fall off. It ran between two trees and there was a branch between it. I hit the branch then the cow bucked me off and I landed on the ground. There were three other people there and they weren't watching me at the time I fell. They said all they heard was something large hit the ground. That was me. Yeah, my friend fell to the ground laughing. It was also winter so the ground was frozen. I was full of dirt. My friend helped me off the ground but she barely could do it cuz she was laughing so hard. I was laughing too." Should I even try to explain? (Hailey) "Ok, um I have no clue what's going on but... Haaaaiiiiiii!...My elementary through middle school music teacher is the dad of one of my friends. Over truth or dare while face timing one night, I dared my friend to go up to his dad like the naked cowboy- singing in his underwear with a guitar. That was the first time I ever heard a teacher string so many curses at once." Not even going to try to explain this one...(Katie) "So...not genocide" In English, we take DYRT (Did You Read This?) quizzes after every two chapters we read of Frankenstein or whatever book we're reading at the time. (In this case, it's Frankenstein) One of the questions asked 'What did Agatha, the old man, and Safie do while Felix was out that morning?' The answer was singing/playing guitar/anything musical really. He asked, meaning the person who said this, if his answer would work. It did not. Not even for half credit. You'll probably hear from him again... (Bryan) You laugh, I laugh, you cry, I cry, you fall off a cliff, I laugh even harder. Excuse me. Have you seen my sanity? I think I've lost it... Parents spend the first part of our lives teaching us how to walk and talk, then the rest of our lives telling us to sit down and shut up. "If you fall, I'll be there" -floor Your weirdness is creeping my imaginary friend out. The world is full of crazy people. THEY MADE ME THEIR LEADER. Anyone that has said words don't hurt has clearly never been hit by a dictionary. Do NOT walk in my footsteps... I tend to walk into walls and off the occasional cliff. Whoever said nothing is impossible never tried nailing jello to a wall, slamming a revolving door or swallowing a whole tablespoon of cinnamon. Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most. This is Bob. Bob likes sharp things. I suggest you run from Bob. My mind works like lightning, one brilliant flash and it’s gone. Boys are like slinkies, they're fun to watch fall down the stairs. I’m not so good at advice. Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment? Shut up voices or I’ll poke you with a fork There are 3 kinds of people: those who can count and those that can't. They say, "Guns don't kill people. People kill people." Well, I think the gun helps. If you stood there and yelled BANG, I don't think you'd kill too many people. I don't lose stuff, I just misplace things for a prolonged period of time and find them when I'm not looking for it. Let's see how dumb I am. Bold - I've done it somehow. Plain - I'm still young, it'll happen at some point. Italic - These are my own dumb things that I've managed to do. 1 . When she stares at your mouth, kiss her. When she pushes you or hits you, grab her and don't let go. When she starts yelling at you, kiss her and tell her you love her. When she's quiet, ask her what's wrong. When she ignores you, give her your attention. When she pulls away, pull her back. When you see her at her worst, tell her she's beautiful. When you see her start crying, just hold her and don't say a word. When you see her walking, sneak up and hug her waist from behind. When she's scared, protect her. When she lays her head on your shoulder, tilt her head up and kiss her. When she steals your favorite hat, let her keep it and sleep with it for a night. When she teases you, tease her back and make her laugh. When she doesn't answer for a long time, reassure her that it'll be okay. When she looks at you with doubt, back yourself up. When she says that she loves you, she really does more than you could ever understand. When she grabs at her hands, grab hers and play with her fingers. When she bumps into you, bump into her back and make her laugh. When she tells you a secret, keep it safe and untold. When she looks into your eyes, don't look away until she does. When she misses you, she's hurting inside. When you break her heart, the pain never really goes away. When she tells you it's over, she still wants to be with you. When she reposts this bulletin, she wants you to read it. Stay on the phone with her even if she's not saying anything. When she's mad, hug her tight and don't let go. When she says she's okay, don't believe her, talk to her. Because ten years later, she'll remember you. Call her at 12:00 am on her birthday to tell her you love her. Call her before you go to sleep and after you wake up. Treat her like she's all that matters to you. When you tease her, let her tease you back. Stay up all night with her when she's sick. Watch her favorite movie or TV show with her even if you think it's stupid or lame. Give her the world. Let her wear your clothes if she needs to. When she's bored and sad, hang out with her. Let her know that she's important. Kiss her in the pouring rain. When she runs up to you crying, the first thing you say is," Who's ass am I kicking?" Writing is like a super power that solves your life problems for a little while. If you're bored, write. If you're hurting, write. If you're sad, write. If you're angry, write. If you need time alone, write. If you're excited, write. If you're depressed, write. If you're scared, write. If you're nervous, write. If you're lonely, write. It's like it can wipe everything away for a while and you can refocus after you take a breath. Isn't it amazing? You Know You're a Writer When... Every time you hear a song, you think of a new story or one you've already written. You have the last chapters of a story done before even thinking of the story's names. It takes you like 10 minutes to write a sentence basically saying that they woke up. You have run out of ways to describe various situations. You often imagine your books becoming movies. Spell check is your best friend. You give even the smallest of characters a huge background. You hesitate before killing of one of your favorite characters. You smile really big when you are going to finally write a character love scene. Every time you read something, you make your own story of the same thing. You'll spend an hour trying to find one word cause you won't dare use a synonym. Not being able to write is like not being able to pee to you... you just can't hold it in for so long. You write so fast, you leave out words in a sentence. You have to tell at least one person your whole story before it's even written. (Just about half of it and make them wanna know more and read it themselves) Things that are written badly annoy you and make you want to re-write it better. You laugh at jokes you wrote yourself. You can spell words like 'illuminating' but can't spell 'of' half the time. If you are not writing or typing, your fingers are moving constantly. You talk to yourself... constantly. When you have to write some sort of story in class, you get carried away. You would rather die than use words like 'good' or 'nice' and etc. You put off the last chapter of a story simply because you don't want it to end. You start to cry when writing about a death or another depressing event you knew was coming, and you are the one writing it. When on a roll, you will ignore hunger, sleepiness, or the urge to pee until you run out of ideas. If a story, movie, show, etc. finishes without closure, you have a powerful need to write a suitable ending. You like to fidget, tap, or chew on the tip of something when you are trying to come up with a new sentence, paragraph, chapter, or story. You are in love with the Thesaurus. You dream about your stories. You dream of new stories. You often revisit some of your old stories. Someone can call your name twenty times without you hearing if you're writing. You would rather talk to the voices in your head than the person sitting next to you. You would rather write than go out. Your/you're and their/there/they're are errors that send you into an apoplectic fit. You get cranky if you don't get to write. You've heard/seen/thought something, and thought, I need to write that down. You wake up in the middle of the night and scrabble for a pen and paper you keep next to your bed to write down a scene to make the voices be quiet so you can get some sleep. Getting the scene finished is more important than coffee, the bathroom, or food. A blank wall becomes the screen where the scene you're writing takes place right in front of your eyes. You can't write because you're mad at one of your characters. You start to laugh out loud in public at what something your character might say. Even though you try your hardest to resist, you often correct your own grammar on PM. You talk to yourself about talking to yourself too much. Your family/friends have come to the ignore the habit of your talking to yourself. You've apologized out loud to a character after doing something horrible to them. You've written thirteen pages straight. They barely cover the span of one day... You've used words while speaking to your parents or teacher that they didn't understand, but you surprisingly do because your vocabulary went from 0 to 100000000. A teacher has questioned you for plagiarism because there's 'no way someone your age can write like that'. “Writing is considered stereotypical. Writing is considered dorky. You probably laugh at the girl in the corner of the room, who is scribbling something in her notebook yet again. She only makes eye contact if absolutely necessary, which isn’t often. You wonder how long she has had that notebook, because it looks old and torn, and you don’t remember a time you have ever seen her without it. You see her in a coffee shop, observing everything and everyone. You look at her as if she was a weirdo, and she looks at you back. She doesn’t tear her gaze away, so you do it instead. She immediately begins to write in that notebook of her’s, making you wonder what’s inside it. At the school dance, she comes without a date or friends. You and your date were having fun, but as soon as she gets there, you feel distracted. She simply sits at a table, writing in her notebook, glancing up every so often to take in her surroundings. You excuse yourself from your date and sit down next to her, hoping to just see what she’s writing. She doesn’t even look at you; just gets up and sits down at the next table. You think you just got rejected by a nerd. You are practicing football in the park, and when you’re dismissed, you get ready to go. As soon as you are about to leave, you see a shape moving around in the middle of the field. You take a closer look and realize that it is her, laughing and spinning around in the tall grass. She collapses down and begins to jot down more things in her notebook, the smile not leaving her face. You are walking down an empty hallway, but stop because you hear the sound of crying. You take a peak around the corner and see her leaning up against the lockers, crying her eyes out. She is furiously writing in her notebook, not even realizing that you are watching her. You feel really bad, but you can’t associate yourself with nerds like her. If only you saw everything from her perspective… She is not a nerd, she is a writer. There is a big difference. When she sits in the corner of the room and writes, it shows that she can’t get that burning idea for a story out of her head. A writer cannot pay attention to anything else before they write down all the ideas etched in the back of their minds. When she sits in the coffee shop, watching everyone walk by, she is not being creepy. It most likely means she has writer’s block, and is searching everywhere for inspiration. Little did you know, when you locked eyes with her, you gave her everything she needed. All a writer needs for a good story is simply an exchanged glance. A writer goes to an event to make memories. Writers use memories to make great stories. The girl went to the dance for just that reason. She was quite angry when you sat next to her; all writers need their concentration. She didn’t even know that the person who sat down was you before she moved tables to find a place to write in peace. A writer wishes to be in private most of the time. So, no, you did not get rejected by a nerd. You got rejected by a writer. A writer knows how to turn their emotions into writing. She knew her character was supposed to feel happy, so she ran to the park as fast as she could. She stood in the middle of the field and just ran and played, because her character was a child, and that’s how children feel joy. As soon as she was feeling the same emotions her character felt, she copied them down, so she understood the feeling better. A writer writes before they lose the emotion they need to make a great story. She was not crying because of anything someone said or did! A true writer doesn’t care about people’s opinions, just their own opinion. She was so caught up in the sadness of her own writing, that she can’t control the tears that forced their way out. She not only feels the emotions she writes, but makes sure she keeps editing until she does. A good writer knows that a piece is good when they are exploding with emotions when they write it. Writing is not stereotypical, and writing is not dorky. Writing is an art. The girl with the notebook is probably a better person than any of your friends combined. She is not a nerd; she is simply an artist. She knows how to capture a person’s heart with a simple sentence. She knows how to create a whole other world by just picking up a pen. She knows how to transmit her feelings into the written word. She is not a nerd. She is an artist. Don’t underestimate the power of writing. It gets everyone every time. Because I can bet you anything that one day, you will become too curious as to what is in the girl’s notebook. You will somehow be able to pry it from her grasp and read what is inside. Suddenly, all your opinions will change about her, because writers can change people’s hearts. You will be begging to take her out on a date, and when she finally accepts, it will be the best date of your life. Because writers have the biggest, best personalities. Before you know it, you’ll be on one knee for the writer you fell in love with, just because her writing was so magnificent. You call me crazy, but when it happens, I’ll be there to say I told you so.” -Kate Casey, a girl with a notebook. "As a writer, if someone falls in love with my work, I know they have fallen in love with my mind, having no idea what my face looks like. They chose my mind. Art may be the only space a woman can be whole and seen without being seen." ~Nayyirah Waheed My best freaking friend in the whole world whose sisters scare the living shit outa me most of the time (this was part of a mini bio war) Even after over two years, they still scare me...as does the rest of her family... get them back together in the next update!! I love this story, u have to!!! Dec 1, 2013 I need help. What is the most deep, embarrassing, or terrible memory or secret can you think of? It doesn't have to be from your memory or secret. Message me back please :) Dec 1, 2013 Elena's Now, people often say that you shouldn't trust people off the internet. There might be some crazy psycho wanting to stalk you. I took a leap of faith one day. It started with a crush, Fanfiction story, and Austin and Ally. They lead me to my best friend and basically my sister. She's helped me through so much and I've helped her as much as I could through anything. We're both idiots and we both just make each other laugh. We're surprised we haven't been sent to a mental hospital yet. But as the days go by, our friendship is still growing strong. So who needs relationship goals? We have friendship goals. And it's better than anyone could ever have. Thank you. For just being there. Always know I'll always be there. Through anything. It could be boys, crying over the Austin and Ally series finale, calling top bunk at jail, or chasing rabbits through the boys bathroom and seeing boyfriends peeing. Hehe. Long story guys. Anyways, you know how much I love you. I hope for the best. 12.1.15 2 years have passed since I wrote my very first story (THE PLAYER) and I have to say, it felt like time has flown so fast. Not only that but today was the day I first talked to my best friend. PicklesPancakesPineapples is my 3rd sister basically. She's been with my through my rants, my worries, my stresses, my laughs, my cries, my fangirling, my annoyingness, my basically everything. And I have no clue who I would be without her. She's really changed my life. Without her, I think I would have felt alone. I might have also started depression and might not even know it. Our friends are changing due to high school. But do you know how amazing it feels when I know me and her didn't change a thing? We're still idiots and we're still hopeless romantics who are obsessed with fictional characters. I honestly would tell her things I wouldn't tell anyone else. I'm proud to call her my best friend and sister. We love each other so much that it even looks like we act lesbians. (But we're not, though) I honestly don't want to live in a world without her. Thank you for being you and even though we have our hard moments, we'll make it through it. Because hey, I will always stay by your side forever. Because we're better together. P.S. We failed at staying idiot proof... Love, Idiot Buddy #1 Mine My turn. Ah, it's finally December 1st! 12 days until my birthday, and I can do Christmassy things again! At least, that's what I used to think, but then 2013 happened. I met, well spoke to, my soon to be best friend for the first time. It started with something as stupid as an opinion and a PM. The first two messages we have are above in italics. As stupid as it sounds, that's the most memorable thing that happened that year. Nowadays, I'm always laughing and on the verge of crying from laughter, our conversations are well let's just say if someone read them, they'd put us in a mental hospital...We don't really pm much anymore. We do use it, but now we text...and kik..and dm..and snapchat..yeah, things have really changed since that night back in 2013. We've also FaceTimed and skpyed countless times, but Skype hated us with a passion. So does gravity...She's my idiot buddy, internet friend, fandom buddy, best friend, almost sister all wrapped in one. My rock. I don't know what I'd do if I ever lost my twin. Apparently it's twinzies because she has zwagger(LONG STORY)! I just wouldn't ask...We share so many memories and secrets and god-knows-what-else. We FaceTime so constantly, when my sister walks into my room, she asks, "Where's Elena?". It's sad, but Rossome. That's half of an inside joke. Even though we live with a state between us (Tennessee to Florida), we make it work. 11hrs and 33mins (833.7 miles) never felt so far. Love ya girlie. Stay idiot proof! 12.1.15 Who would have known 2 years would have been so crazy? With you by my side, I knew they'd be nuts. You've put up with me through everything. From my grandmother dying to guy drama. It's crazy how fast we became friends, but it's even crazier on how far we've come since that today 2 years ago. Even though we don't see eye to eye on everything, we complete and understand each other like no one else can. You were the first to wish me a happy birthday. Remember when we texted for the first time and my phone died right after? That made me so mad. And all the nights we stayed up late texting back and forth. Then there was the R5 Livestream at midnight back in February. It's amazing what all these memories flourished into. I'm counting down until those 3 years are up! Just look at us now. My Fanfiction Story (Other users should totally do this.) I was eleven, almost twelve when I first found fanfiction. Let me tell you this, it's not how you would imagine it, though. It was a date in the year 2012. I was bored out of my mind. There was absolutely nothing to do and I was at the stage where I was just learning about the more mature stuff humans do. So, being bored all day, I did what any abnormal preteen would do. I combined one of my favorite shows with the stuff I was learning about. (Don't ask me why I was strange and at that stage where I was curious about everything.) In the Google search bar, I typed Austin and Ally sex. I did not know what I would find, honestly. The page took a few seconds to load and a few links popped up. I didn't know what they were or what I was about to go into. So I clicked on one. The G Word it read. This was my first story I read on here. It was one of the strongest mature scenes in the entire story. I read the entire chapter. Becuase of this, I couldn't look at Ross the same, so I quit watching Disney altogether. A little more than a year later, mid-June of 2013, I was on vacation and all the hotel really had TV wise was Disney, it had Nick as well, but I had been more into TeenNick. So I settled for Disney. Every time I would turn on the channel, a preview for Teen Beach Movie or Austin & Ally would come on. I was finally able to look at Ross the same as I did before. So when I returned from my getaway, I watched Austin & Ally like no body's business. I played catch up until the week of Teen Beach Movie. I remember sitting on the floor by my bed with my kindle watching the movie the Monday before it aired. And that's how most of my July and August went. Watching old reruns of Austin & Ally. Flash forward to the end of September. September 27, 2013. Also known as the air date of Real Life and Reel Life. I noticed how disturbed I felt at the thought of the duo splitting up. It was then when I noticed just how attached to this show I was. During either the second or third commercial break was when I heard Pass Me By for the very first time. I didn't understand why they were called R5. I only knew of Ross at the time. A few weeks passed and I saw Ross's This Is Who I Am video and learned why they were named R5. But Ryland was missing. After some research, I found the rest of their songs and Ellington Ratliff. This was all taking place during the month of October in the same year, 2013. The premier of Season 3 was nearing, but I still needed my dose of Austin & Ally. So, on a Sunday night in late October, I found myself back at this strange site that altered my view of Ross Lynch. Will You Smile For Me? was the second story I read, the first one I completed. The rest is history. I made my own account on November 9, 2013. I made my best friend a month later. I am a proud member of the R5 Family and my life has changed so much since then. One last thing... There's one problem. I can't contact the author of The G Word. I tried PMing her only to find out she doesn't go on here anymore. I followed her on twitter and she tweeted for the first time in four months on January 3, 2016. If you know her, speak with her, anything, please PM me. I would really like to speak with her at some point while I'm still in this fandom. And no, she doesn't follow me on my personal twitter account or my fanfiction one. UPDATE (11.14.16) I have been fortunate enough to have spoken with her a handful of times via twitter. My special dates: 12.13.00 12.1.13 1.10.16 2.17.16 5.16.16 7.31.16 8.24.16 |
