![]() Author has written 17 stories for Fringe, Castle, and Rizzoli & Isles. Greetings one and all. I have been wandering around this place for a while now, consuming your work from the shadows. In doing so I have been inspired to put something back & discovered while I am enjoying my attempts, writing is not a natural act to me, maybe the fluidity I imagine to be desirable will come. I think there is a little more in me yet… perhaps time will tell. So what other stuff do you put in your profile? Well perhaps I should tell you some things about me, who knows what they reveal? The song currently stuck in my head is New York Morning by Elbow In case you were wondering... the name comes from the track Crystalline Green by the ever fabulous and utterly ethereal Goldfrapp, they're magnificent I love the sound of a carrot being chopped on a wooden board Sometimes I can smell the snow before it falls One of my favourite things to be caught up in is the spray whipped off a breaking wave as it leaves a rainbow in its wake My favourite herb is Bay leaf, and spice would be Cinnamon I love it when you can feel the sun on your skin like a warm blanket Fresh chilies are my passion, I grow my own and I could quite happily eat them in every meal including breakfast (mmm chilied scrambled eggs...), my step-dad said he thought I must have Mexican lineage somewhere in me (as far as I am aware I don't) I really like beer I seem to be slightly obsessed with food and drink Brand new socks are one of the finest things in life when you put them on after a shower Once I was recognised by someone I hadn't seen in over 10 years by the sound of laugh alone I find it fascinating to see where you people who visit my space here and the pieces I have written come from *waves to you all*. The internet a wonderful thing I'd like to apologise to anyone viewing this profile on a mobile, I know this part looks awful! And finally, as a general rule, and this is by no means limited to this place, I have no idea what I am doing…Anyhow, to all of those who write here and do it well, I have newfound respect for you and the work you put in. Virtual cake, hot tea or coffee if you would prefer (real stuff, not that instant muck), are available in the PM area, so feel free to pop in any time. Onwards. Upwards! C. Green |
